Horrible customer service! Very rude! My husband and I ordered the boneless ribs and house fried rice. Order came to over 25.00. We were not able to even bite into the ribs as they were hard as a brick! The house fried rice had the worst taste, almost like the oil they used had gone bad . My first impression is that the place is not very clean. The dining area has four tables. At 3 PM on a Monday afternoon, all four are dirty, most with dried food on them. My order was taken by two girls, I'd guess middle school age. Three adults were on their phones behind the counter. They went in to the kitchen and began working without cleaning their hands. One was still watching TV on his tablet while he cooked. Not terribly assuring. Drinks are all bottled or canned. No fountain, no refills. They do have lunch specials. The food did not taste particularly good, but it wasn't bad, either. The kung pao shrimp was pretty spicy (not Thai food spicy, but spicier than I expected). I don't understand the reviews of this place. It was TERRIBLE. But I blame myself for this... I recently moved to the area and decided to try out the local Chinese takeout spot. When I walked in (around 1PM) there was no one behind the counter or visible. Waited for a few minutes. Two other people came in, waited, then left. While waiting I had time to just look around and just noticed how unclean the place was, especially behind the counter. That was my first sign to leave that I ignored. So I left and went to my car and came back and there was a lady there that took my order (General Tso lunch special with pork egg roll). She said it would take 5 minutes so I made a quick dash to Publix and came back. Seems like she forgot about the order and I watch her and another guy scramble to make my order. I get home ready to enjoy my lunch and I open the container. WTF. It was the worst looking order I've ever seen from a Chinese takeout spot. Like literally the worst. Two bites into it, I was done and just threw it in the trash. Egg roll was overfried and burnt. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place nor will I return. Still don't understand the glowing reviews, unless these folks will just eat anything. LOL Restaurant is dirty and uncleaned, and the food reflects it. read more

It was good. There isn't anything that stood out to turn me off. I ordered braised wings. I was a bit disappointed at first sight, because they didn't have that braised appearance I'm use to. They were a bit spicy and I could see the pepper on top through the sauce. Although the chicken taste different, it was ok. My veggie rice taste fresh and I didn't need any sauces to cover up any blandness. The sweet and sour chicken was fresh and it wasn't like the last place I'd gone too. In other words I couldn't break a window with this chicken . It was nice and tender. No, I 'm not greedy. The sweet and sour dish was for the Mr. Overall the place looked clean. They had a great variety of drinks and a few tables in the dining area. It didn't take unreasonably long to get the order. The staff was friendly including a young lady behind the register whom said she wants to be a neonatal nurse when she grows up. She was smiling and seemed very sweet. For confirmation she repeated the order back to me once it was bagged. I appreciated that. One of the worse things is when I get home and I don't have everything I asked for. It's located in a plaza with Publix supermarket. The plaza is nice and clean with ample parking. This place was great. I would eat here again. read more

We've gotten takeout from Pearl China several times recently and have been very happy with each meal. I'll admit the interior leaves much to be desired, but, we have never dined-in so we don't have to deal with it for too long. Their crab rangoon is much better than the other local areas we've tried, and they have been very accommodating with any special requests/modifications to our meals. My go-to is the shrimp with mixed vegetables and my boyfriend LOVES the general Tso shrimp. It's unlikely we'll even try to find another local Chinese takeout spot after finding this place. read more

Tired of their mistakes & inconsistency with the food. The cherry on top today was them packing my 1 meal that cost $10.54 standing up instead of laying it down so all sauce leaked out, soaked the brown paper bag & even got into my fortune cookie. I offered to send them a picture so they could replace it another time but no that's not good enough. In the past they've given me the wrong order & I've had to drive back for them to only replace the 1 item while the rest of the food gets cold. What about my time & gas? Poor customer service. This is my favorite Chinese delivery EVER! We've had General Tsao, Sesame Chicken, Spring Rolls, egg rolls, crab rangoon, dumplings. Their steamed dumplings are HUGE and thick! And so tasty! Pretty standard Chinese fare but the prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. I usually order take out by phone. Very convenient and quick. If you have to run to the nearby Publix you can combine the trip and have your food ready when you get done. read more

This is your standard Chinese takeout restaurant. Their pickup option takes only 10 minutes or so. I've tried the lo mein noodles, steamed dumplings, and (of course) their white rice. My boyfriend usually gets their chicken wings and egg drop soup. No complaints from either of us! read more

I shouldn't have even bothered trying this place again but I did anyways. The service was what looked like a 12yr and she didn't know how to ring me up. There was an older lady who had to come help her. The store is disgusting on the inside and there was a baby roach dead inside the utensils holder on the spoon side. This was not very good food. The crab rangoon and sweet and sour chicken were very greasy and tasted like they were used in unfresh oil. It was very heavy. The cashew chicken combo was OK. This place suck! Horrible food and poor customer service. I ordered food that seems to have been recooked. Some of the chicken was just bones. I called the manager and all she could do was say sorry we order from different vendors and they suck. I told her that I would just bring the food back and I wanted a refund. She said NO! They used to be consistently good, and we would go a lot (3-4 times per month), but now it's a roll of the dice whether you get a great meal or grizzly, nasty chicken. We stopped going here because of the inconsistent quality. House of Lu is close enough and is consistently really good. read more

We've been getting take out here for years, mabee once or twice a year. Its just OK. Their fried rice is really different from anyplace i've been to, and I just don't particularly care for it. The rest of the stuff on the menu that i've tried is pretty consistent to what you should expect from your typical Chinese joint... I find its more greasy than most though.
