What bothered me most was how she spoke to a minor about her healthcare card, making unnecessary comments and speaking to the child disrespectfully. First impressions matter, and the front desk completely ruined the experience for me. What stood out most was how she spoke to a minor about her healthcare card, insisting she should have it on her phone despite clearly being a child, and making inappropriate comments suggesting there were 'other things she probably has on her phone she shouldn't.' That kind of remark was unnecessary, disrespectful, and completely out of line. I understand offices can get busy and stressful, but that is no excuse for being dismissive or rude to patients, especially a minor. Overall, the lack of basic patience and professionalism at the front desk left a very negative impression.

I also really appreciated that the entire staff was female. It made me feel much more comfortable, especially since I've had negative experiences with male dentists in the past. Very clean and friendly pupper !! The only downside is that it's definitely on the expensive side, but I understand it's a high-end practice in Scottsdale. They're also incredibly busy, I had to wait about eight months for my appointment, but I can see why they're so booked. In the end, it was worth the wait. This is not the dentist for you if you are a basic patient that doesn't have serious dental issues or need cosmetic surgery or appliances. They don't take care of you or treat you if you aren't making money . The only bright spot is the front desk and the hygienists who are excellent despite the dentists being inattentive and uncaring. I switched to this dentist (Dr Bri) several years ago after moving here and having a multi year relationship with my prior dentist. While Dr Bri was fine at the beginning, everything became progressively worse over time. This office is a money making machine that only cares about selling you cosmetic dentistry and services you don't need. They did this to me and my kids, each of us getting separately estimates for 20k of cosmetic work every time you go in for a tooth cleaning. Another friend left the practice after having the same experience. I stayed on bc I felt it was fine to say no to cosmetic work but ultimately was relegated to worse and worse service. Several times, and maybe all of the last four visits, I had to ASK to see the actual dentist. They tried to send me on my way after the hygienist cleaning. I was asked if I had a particular issue and said- no I just think the dentist should look at your teeth during a dental exam. Terrible customer service. Worse, last time I was there, they had someone who I don't think had ever seen a tooth doing flossing and other basic work (it wasn't the hygienist). She kept skipping teeth and had no clue what she was doing. It was almost like a joke. Then when I asked to see the dentist, I found out she wasn't even there that day. Why even schedule me for an appointment? It was ridiculous and the final straw. Side note: They also refused to send X-rays to my oral surgeon bc I wouldn't sign up with their surgeon who wasn't covered by my insurance. My surgeon had to take new X-rays. What a racket. Again The only reason for not giving one star are the front desk and hygienists who are excellent. I consider the dentist a long term and personal relationship. I went to this office for years and had absolutely no relationship with Dr Bri. The customer service is poor unless you need major work done. Find another office if you are just an ordinary person with good teeth that need to be cleaned.

Unfortunately, this visit was overshadowed by a very negative interaction with the office manager, Tania. While I understood and was not upset about an outstanding balance caused by an insurance issue, I was disappointed that it took several months for this to be brought to my attention. More concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. During our conversation, Tania asked my age and then began speaking to me in a noticeably condescending tone, repeatedly addressing me as "girl" rather than maintaining a professional manner. The discussion about the insurance matter became increasingly uncomfortable, as she then decided to bring my mother into the situation due to her being the policy holder. In every professional way, I expressed that she does not know me or my mother, nor does she understand the nature of our relationship. Despite this, she continued making assumptions and stated that although she is close with her own daughter, she would still cash a check without telling her. At one point, I asked if I could step away to speak with my mother directly. When I returned, I explained that I was willing to pay the balance and was simply waiting for my mother to send me the funds. In response, she made an additional remark stating "oh girl yea your mom definitely cashed that check and doesn't want to tell you" which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. When I ultimately asked to cancel my appointment due to both the unresolved insurance issue and discomfort with the interaction, I was met with further unprofessional comments, including suggestions that I should simply pay out of pocket or just ask my mother for money. As someone who works in healthcare, I found this experience particularly disappointing. Patients should be treated with respect, professionalism, and without personal assumptions. While I still believe the dentist and hygienist provide excellent care, this interaction has made me uncomfortable returning to the office. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no patient should feel diminished during what should be a supportive healthcare experience.

I would not recommend this dentist office. I had previously been to another dentist and a…read moreperiodontist for pain and redness in my gums. Both had suggested that perhaps I had developed a metal allergy but didn't know who to send me to get tested so I contacted Whole Health. Dr Sofia also agreed that could be the problem. First course of action was a saliva test and then labs were ordered through Vibrant Labs in CA. The test was 520 dollars and it took me almost a year to save up to get the test . At no time did anyone mention that it was also going to cost me another 200 dollars to have someone go over the results with me . Anyway I did the test . I was notified that the dentist had received my results on Jan .19th . (Monday) By Friday the 23rd I still had not heard anything from the dentist office so I left a message . By Monday the 26 I still had not heard from the dentist so I left another message . By Wed the 28th I still had not heard from the dentist so I looked up the Facebook page and message Dr Loud through email. That's when I finally got a text saying Dr Loud was not my dentist but that they would make an appt with Dr Sofia to go over my results and that would be Feb 13. Then a week later they called me and said she didn't want to go over results with me but wanted me to talk to a practitioner and she would contact me. I got an appt with her for Feb 16th . That was yesterday and come to find out the test didn't even test for metal allergies (which is the only reason I did it) . I am beyond upset about this . Not only do I feel like no one cares but no one answers the phone or returns calls so there is no point in trying to do that . Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place , unless you want to be angry and you want to waste your money
