I have attended Minted Dental for a little over a year now both the Scottsdale and Tatum locations. Dental staff have been awesome and appreciated their detailed work. However, the office polices of cancellation have caused me to seek another dental office. They charge a $75 cancellation fee regardless of the reason, including sickness, if you have confirmed an appointment previously. They said they have proper PPE and offered to come in later in the day, but the bottom line is they want sick people to come into their office. As a sick person this is unfortunate, but coming to an office healthy with potentially sick folks around is really not acceptable. read more

I used to really like this office, but this time, after I was in the chair and the assistant was ready to get started, I was told the dentist was out of the country and it would be a virtual visit. I work in medicine, and when I do a visit I still talk to and evaluate the patient in real time. That didn't happen here. It might not be fraud, but it didn't feel ethical. If I'm going to the dentist, I expect to see a dentist. read more

It's woman owned (which is amazing) they pay so much attention to details. When I call, they automatically know my name, when I get to my appointment, they automatically know who I am. Dr. Patel always takes the time to talk to me & always remembers details about me which is so special. I also had their hygienist Kat the last two times and she was so sweet. I cannot say enough good things about minted dental. I have a RIDICULOUS amount of weird, rare disorders and a couple of them will flare up with physical stress and pain. I also pass out .... A lot.... 1,2,3,4 get your woman on the floor... = Me. A lot of dental professionals are not familiar with all the fun party tricks my body decides to throw out there. So going to the dentist in the past has been.... Fun??? False, it's been horrible. But now that I've been at minted for a couple years it's been so much easier. The Drs are much more familiar with what needs to happen to provide good dental care for my portal to hell body. For reference here is a list of the disorders: Ehlers Danlos type hyper mobile, POTS, gastroparesis, cycle vomiting syndrome, Dystonia... The Dystonia is a rough one for dental care.... It's like doing a cavity filling on a contortionist who's been frozen in the most awkward positions. Most dentists will not provide dental care during one of my dystonic episodes but minted dental is like "challenge accepted". read more

I was recommended here for treatment. I had extensive work to be done due to my fear of the dentist in the past. From the moment I came into the office and greeted by Vanessa to being shown the office by Skye ( I think that's the spelling) who explained the office to me and she was Dr Wilson's assistant. After many X-rays and imaging of my teeth Dr Wilson came in, addressed my concerns, gave me multiple options of care all while my scared self felt very comfortable and non judged. I will be returning to complete the work she suggested and I feel that I am good dental hands. I never felt pressured or felt they were upselling any care. Dr. Patel is excellent! I have been going here for 4 years. All of the staff is great, kind, and courteous. I have had cleanings, deep scalings (below the gum cleanings), cavities drilled and filled, and touch ups on chipped teeth. They are also great about checking what your insurance covers before they do anything, so you know what the cost will be and can make an informed decision for every procedure beforehand. Every appointment has been great, and their communication is multi faceted as well (book online/live text messaging and reminders/phone calls). Their chairs are also comfortable and each room has 2 TV's for you to choose Netflix programs to watch (one on the wall/one on the ceiling for you to watch while they are working on you). My sister and her whole family also happily go here. read more

I am a terrible dentist patient, like, the worst! I am not great about going as regular as I should because of this overwhelming fear. I hadn't had great success with the dentist I was at and was looking for one. I was recommended Minted Dental by my kids' dentist. When I got to the office, I was really anxious. I was wearing my mask and slightly hyperventilating behind it. As soon as I got in the lobby, I was relieved. This did not look, smell or sound like any dental office I'd ever been to. It's was bright and charming. The decor was clean and modern. The forms had been texted to me before my appointment so there was nothing I had to sit down and fill out. The staff was so friendly and understanding. They gave me a tour of the office before my appointment, which helped relive some apprehension. They took my temperature before I went back for my exam and everyone was wearing masks in every area of the office. During the cleaning and exam, the hygienist was very patient and accommodating. She made it the best cleaning experience I've ever had. She didn't push me when I was uncomfortable and offered ways to help relax me, like using numbing cream and turning up the volume on the tv in the room to drown out the noise. When Dr. Patel came in she had such great energy. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does and wants everyone to have positive experiences in her office. She explained everything in a very understandable way. She asked me a lot of questions and encouraged me to ask her if I had any about what my care plans looked like. I felt like I knew exactly what to expect, no surprises. I left feeling so much better that I usually do. This big ole scaredy cat finally did well at the dentist for once. read more

Amazing staff! For someone who experiences a bit of anxiety at the dentist I can tell you my nerves were completely at ease during my appointment. I was looking for a second opinion about a broken tooth and was presented with an option that was not offered at the first dentist I saw. This was a more affordable and less invasive solution that I wasn't aware was possible. Randomly chipped a front tooth. Nope, no clue how. We are new to AZ (well, before Covid but not my much) and we haven't established dental care yet. Minted Dental was highly recommended, and I am so glad they accept new patients. Dr. Teny bonded my tooth beautifully and it was a pain free and perfect experience for a "semi emergency". I recently came in to see Doctor Teny and I must say that was the most outstanding experience I have ever had at a dental office. Not only is their office superbly clean, organized and very comfortable, but they have all brand new and high tech machines and devices, it was like being in futuristic dental office (it was super cool lol), then everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the doctor herself are all SO kind, professional, thorough, honest and patient. I have had absolute horror story's dealing with dishonest dentists so I was extremely picking looking for the right place. I am so glad I found minted dental! I chipped my tooth and before they even started the procedure the receptionist came in with a break down with everything they will be doing and what all my insurance covered. Everything from check in, from getting a cleaning to check out just seemed very organized and it also puts you at ease seeing how clean the place is. BEST DENTIST I'VE EVERY HAD!!! Minted Dental has the best service! The receptionist up front was so nice. She helped me through the whole process with insurance since I am new to having my own insurance. Every since I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The receptionist did things fast but very efficient! It was my first visited at Minted Dental I felt very comfortable ever since I walked into the door! I wasn't waiting to long in the waiting room for someone to come get me! I got a tour of the office since it was my first time. Also, in each room there are 2 TVs in each room one on the wall and one on the ceiling and they will ask what you want to watch so you are able to forget about being at the dentist and just sit back and relax and watch some TV!!! Secondly, the whole staff made me feel super comfortable since I usually struggle with going to the dentists! The dentist office with COVID I will be honest made me nervous before I went but overall I felt very safe probably more than most places! Everyone on this staff is the best. I have always had bad experiences with going to the dentist since I was very young. That being said, I've only had great experiences every time I walk through the door of Minted Dental. I've had work done by both Dr Patel and Dr Teny and they both have made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on as well as checking up on me afterwards. We had a great experience here! I love that it is family-owned. All of the staff was kind and attentive to both myself and my two kids. It was our first visit in a few years for my 5 year old, but they were so sweet with her! Dr. Patel explained what they were doing and made each part fun. They even took the time to let my 3 year old watch each step, so that he would know what to expect at his visit. (My only sadness is just the overall cost upfront.. totally worth it if you can afford it IMO-- $209 for a full year's worth of cleanings without insurance! Their own plan. But for a family of 6... ) My daughter wanted to call everyone right away and show her certificate and prizes-- as well as her sparkly teeth! read more

I scheduled an appointment yesterday, came today for my appointment and They didn't schedule me! She said they calls yesterday to confirm and I didn't answer, why your calling to confirm appointment after I scheduled? Same day? Any way they said they will treat me, I was waiting more then 1 hour! With pain and no one took a look! After I asked what's going on they said the doctor can see you in 30 min! Very bed costumer service, they putting people in the rooms and 1 doctors move from room to room. Better if you told me you can't get in today! Please be aware that people have there's scheduled too and we can't wait more then 1 hour. I could see a different doctor on this time, definitely not recommend! read more
