As a true millennial Gemini, I celebrate my birthday for the whole month, so I quickly texted my family and friends; this is where I wanted to go. What I love about Hush Hush is how it's encouraging and pushing folks to step out of their comfort zone in their attire and dress more to the vibes of this cocktail house (Think Soho, ABA, Casablanca, and Elephante). You're bound to see more desert tones, muted colors, flowy pants, basically anything resort wear. It's cool to see this cocktail house make you feel like you're not in El Paso. The music is different, more loungey, to where you can hear everyone at your table. Of course, there's still a DJ, but damn, Hush Hush is intentionally geared for those who love to go out but need top-shelf cocktails without the eye rolls or the bartenders staring at us with blank eyes. Hush Hush is a true game changer. The lines might get crazy, but I suggest getting there early so you can snag your photos and a solid table/spot. There are three main bar areas, but my fave was the velvet room. I suggest catching a drink on the second floor if you get there early enough to get an eagle eye's view of the establishment. Attention to detail was on point, and I appreciated the homework and research done before the opening of this spot.
