I love this location. Normally, it's pretty busy in the afternoons and evenings with young kids hanging around. It's air conditioned with lots of seating but most people take their orders to go. Unfortunately, there's no food so just drinks doesn't really make it great for hanging out. They have a free drink with gift card load promo so be sure to take advantage. My favourite is the Taro Smoothie with Pearls. I want to give this place a 4 star but todays drink was a 3. The smoothie was too watery and the pearls lacked any sweetness. I used to come here more than once a week for the past few summers because I love it so much! However, after new bbt places opened up near me I began to stray away from here. Mainly because it isn't as affordable as the other ones but they all taste fairly good. As for my favourites, I would have to say all of them! I walked in to get a few bubble teas and was a little indecisive for some. The staff was very patient and helpful to suggest a few flavors from what I was asking for. The staff was super fast in service and all teams were ready in a just a couple minutes. First time and first day in Vancouver... I had no idea where to get good bubble tea but luckily this place was nearby. I didn't know what to order so the cashier recommended Black Milk Tea. Wedged across the eastern side of Guildford Mall, the place is small but at least the kitchen isn't cramped and you can freely see how your drink is made. There seems to be more fruit ingredients than an average bubble tea place that predominantly advocates powdered stuff. Think this spot more of a fruit smoothie bar. They offer a bit more than an average menu, with your black/green/smoothie milk tea selection, in addition you can customize your smoothie ingredients, and you can order up an avocado, coconut or papaya shake. I have tried the fresh taro smoothie with tapioca, and enjoyed the drink's lower sugar dose; the servers are generous with their tapioca, which is great. After Dragon Ball Tea House withdrawal, I've hadn't had pearl tea drinks for quite some time. Passing by Surrey area I spotted a branch of Pear Fever and decided to stop by. I always enjoyed their fresh taro and wanted to know if they were consistent, which they proved they were yet again. Pear Fever Tea House's always had good service and great interior. This branch didn't disappoint as well.\ My only complaint is that the taro balls had no sweet taste. Dragon Ball still wins this hands down. If they can perfect the bubbles, they will earn their 5 stars. read more

Awesome place. The people are really nice. I once walked in with two of my other friends. We wanted to share a drink amongst the three of us. Once we got our taro drink, I poked my straw in, and the whole cup just bursted. It was entirely my fault sinec I jammed the straw in a little to hard. They saw the situation, and gave us another drink for free. It was really kind of them to do that. I felt so guilty watching them clean up the mess I made. So embarrassing. The drink itself is great. I've tried their strawberry slush and mango slush, which are my two favourite flavors. They're the bomb. The place itself is pretty nice. I don't really sit down and sip since I take my bubble tea to go. All-in-all, two thumbs up! read more

Conveniently placed in the heart of Guildford, this is a wonderful place to grab quick n go bubble tea. There's also a bubble world within walking distance, but being overly crowded I'd rather go here. Too noisy at bubble world and large crowds waiting to be seated always block the door. They have more choices compared to BBW anyways. Highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for a bubble tea place catering to western culture. Pearls are hit or miss, overall experience has been great. Staff is very friendly. read more

I haven't had a bad experience here but nothing amazing either. I ordered their version of their Ferrero bubble tea and I would actually choose this one over the Bubble Queen version. It was amazing! The wait is usually not bad here, just the usual weekends get busy at night but I just go around those times. The biggest plus is the accept debit over $3.50 and credit over $10ish? Score! For the person who never carries cash around (me), it's nice not to have to go to an atm machine or the bank to enjoy some bbt. read more

It was pretty busy when I went in there and quite loud with all of the blenders going. There are two LCD screen with the menu on them and they often switch products, so if you aren't watching for a while, you can't see all of the drinks. I think a menu on the wall would have been more convenient. The service is okay, but you could tell the girls making the drinks were under a lot of pressure with the amount of customers and the loudness of the blenders. (They seriously need some sound dampening in there!!) The drink are at least $2 more than I would pay at another shop, but the quality is there. My drink was delicious. If it was a bit more affordable I might go a little more often. I think this will just be a once-in-a-while place for me. read more
