This is a very professional place to get an eye exam for glasses and contacts. I recommend this spot if you are looking for an eye exam. The first nice part about this shop is that it is open quite late and getting an appointment was easy with a quick phone call. Second, this shop has very high tech exam machines and I was able to get eye X rays (which has a fee but it's worth it). Before the eye exam, there is a pre-appointment room with 3-4 machines that takes a deeper look into your eyes. Third, the folks in this shop are very professional and nice. My doctor was very knowledgeable and very happy to answer all my questions. Finally, this place situated very nicely with lots of parking and access to other shops/restaurants. read more

The employees and eye doctors are nothing but professional. It seems like you will get a thorough look at your eye health if you go here. The big "but" is the fact that pearle has something wrong with their model for glasses pricing. I wanted prescription Oakleys and have vision insurance. I was told that they would be $500 and that it was a deal because without insurance it would be $700. I declined to buy anything and went online and found prescription oakleys for less than $300. Pearle is either getting taken by their industry partners or they are trying to take advantage of their customers. It doesn't really matter which it is, buying from them is not prudent. read more

I've had glasses and contacts for 27 years, so I've been to many different clinics to get service. I had a great experience and am very impressed about every person I interacted with, every step of the way. I was running out of contacts but also out of time, so I was pressed to find a doctor and get my eyes sorted out quickly. Luckily, I was able to be squeezed in as a new patient at Pearle Vision on very short notice. The technician was very pleasant and explained to me the style glasses have taken on, which was very helpful. The doctor was fabulous. He took the time needed to answer my questions, explaining things to me that I now understand so much better. He didn't talk down to me and showed me respect in doing so. I felt like a partner in my care rather than just another patient on an assembly line. The doctor even showed me google images of a possible condition, warning me with a joke that of course the images would be horrifying and my case is not so bad - but then went ahead and showed me, explaining what I have going on. This is such a good idea for practice, because the first thing I would have done was to google the condition and see for myself. It was so helpful to have him there with me. I felt respected. Finally, the worker who checked me out was excellent in walking me through how to best fit the contacts I ordered into my budget. She helped me step by step so I'm sure to get my rebate and everything. She empathized with my pain about glasses styles, explaining how her husband had similar struggles in finding the right pair. I'm going to give one star because they have a good selection of name brand frames. Buuuut so does Amazon and other places for a much better price. I was looking for a brand name pair of eye glasses. As my previous doctor did not carry many options. After looking at some of the options they had... I thought "Im gonna love this experience!" When it was time for my appointment date, no one was available to at least check me in so the optometrist would know I arrived. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes. Okaaayyyyy. After my exam, I purchased 1 year of contact lenses and a pair of brand new glasses. After a short period of time, I received a call to let me know they were ready for pick up. Great. I had my husband stopped by the next day to pick them up, as I could not make it. When he gave them to me, he brought me the wrong case, says that was what was given to him. I purchased brand name, the case had the logo on it. This case was different, this made me think these are not mine. I tried them on and whoooaaaa. Definitely not mine. I called them to let them know these are not mine and they asked why did I think that? Well first I noticed this was not my case. I bought name brand, this is an old used brown case. I was told " Oh....we can just switch those for you." "Okay, but I can't see with these on, everything is distorted." "Oh no you have to wait a few weeks until your eyes adjust. They're new." I thought it was the craziest thing I have ever heard of. I have used glasses all my life and I know what new glasses are like and it's NOT this. When I picked up my new case. I showed them what was given to me and the case was switched. She insisted I wait so my eyes adjust. I gave it a few days and called again and had them double check my lenses, I just couldn't. It appears they added one of the lenses for near-sighted and the other for far-sighted. Thank goodness I didn't listen to them. Can you imagine forcing your eyes to adjust to their mistake. Im not even far-sighted. Why would you tell me to wait so they can adjust, this can't be good for your eyes. You made the mistake. They should trust the customer, cause mistakes can happen on their end. Thank goodness I didn't listen to them! The best part is the several trips I had to make to get this fixed. And not once did they offer, a discount. At least offer 50% off, 25, $5.00 off. Nothing. Are you kidding me?!?!?! After all the hassle of having to drive back and forth, and wait over 15 minutes each time. I'M DONE! read more

I had a great time selecting glasses with the staff at Pearl Vision. Twyla was supportive and helpful as we searched for the best fit to my needs. When it came time to pickup my glasses, one prescription was incorrect. Once again, employees were supportive and helpful to get the lens correct. 5-star service and highly recommended. I've been going to Pearle Vision for the last 2 years. I didn't have any issues last year however my insurance changed and I had some problems this year. I'm still giving them a 4 star review based on their customer service, specifically from Twyla. I went in the beginning of November to get new glasses. I only wanted new lens inserted into my current frames. There were some delays and after 3 weeks, the day before Thanksgiving, I called Pearle Vision to cancel my order for a full refund. Twyla was extremely polite and when I asked what time they closed that day so I can come in for my refund, I learned the office had already been closed when I called! I apologized for keeping her past hours and said I would come in the Friday after Thanksgiving instead. I got a call an hour later from Twyla who had continued looking into the problem to find what the delay was. She really went above and beyond the day before Thanksgiving to resolve my issue (there was a time constraint, I was going out of the country soon and needed my glasses right away) and I got my glasses completed the following Tuesday. I like to recognize excellent customer service as people usually only hear about the bad but although this could've been a really awkward situation, Twyla turned it around and now I'm a customer for at least another year. I felt rushed by all of the staff even the doctor and was given a wrong prescription for my glasses. I felt no confidence in their staff so I asked for a refund. They refused, but when I argued they refunded half. Staff was short with me and returned my glasses without cleaning their finger prints off which I've never experienced at a vision store. Very petty. Now I have glasses I can't wear and I'm out nearly $200. Poor service and complete crooks. read more

I saw doctor Goetsch. Both the staff members who were there to receive and do the pre-exam work for patients were very friendly and helpful. I think one was fairly new, so it took a little longer than expected, but she was still thorough and good. Dr. Goetsch was excellent. Very kind, pleasant, and personable. He made me very comfortable and explained things very clearly. He didn't seem to be annoyed at all by questions I asked, and was happy to make sure I understood the full picture. The optometrist was great. ..but they tried to make me pay for eye photos without telling me upfront. ..even though I only asked for an eye exam. When I was billed I had to ask why my bill was higher than it should have been and then protest the extra cost. Once I told them they needed my permission before charging me for extras they corrected the cost. Selection of frames is mediocre and one of the associates tried to sell me frames I didn't want.... read more

The service was friendly and polite, how ever after three attempts to get my glasses correct, I went to another eye Dr. and had my eyes retested (Paid out of my own pocked). There was a slight difference in one. They remade the lenses for the 4th time. but failed to make the lenses for computer uses which was where the problem lies since I spend 8 hours per day in front of a computer. Was very easy to get an appointment and liked being able to do it on-line, same day. Nice staff and nice store. This was my first visit to the store and to Dr. Goetsch. He was thorough and not hurried. He spoke intelligently about what he observed and bespeaks confidence in his abilities and knowledge.
