The service is inconsistent..I went in and stated my Medicare insurance...they were not helpful and wanted to only upsell me...well went online...and ordered glasses single vision for all covered under my Medicare insurance....in the -ast depending on who waits on you. I visited this Pearle Vision two years ago because of a Groupon we saw. When we asked, they told us that they could give us a better offer by using our health insurance, which we accepted. Long story short, it took them six tries over the period of six months to get my prescription right. I've never heard or seen something like this before. To make it worse, it took me over an hour to get to this location. There technician was a condescending jerk. I really don't know if he still works there. I had to come back three weeks ago because the frame of my glasses just fell apart. The girl who attended me took care of everything in an efficient manner and I could not be happier. After my eye exam, and my eyes being dilated, Ibran was extremely accommodating during the frame searching process. He was very informative and not overbearing, allowing me to browse without feeling that 'sales' pressure. Once I found the frames, it was time for the lenses! This was my first time needing progressive lenses and Ibram and his associate Elliot took the time to explain all of my options to me. Even drawing the pictures of the differences because my eyes were still dilated and I could not read the about the lenses yet. There was absolutely NO pressure to go with the most expensive and best lenses. They both only wanted what would be best for myself and my eyes. Unprofessional eye doctor - she did not listen to me when I told her my vision was still blurry after the exam. She told me my eyes would adjust, and I left with a prescription I cannot use. It seemed to me that she did not want to be there or care enough to do a thorough job helping me. Unacceptable. My eyesight is important to me, and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

If you wear bifocals, make sure all of the numbers are written down. The office is quite friendly, but I needed to have my prescription adjusted, and they forgot a set of numbers (the add column) that makes them bifocals, which is critical if you wear bifocals and you're having glasses or contacts made not via the Pearle Vision store. Doctor is friendly and helpful, though, and in the end my glasses helped me see better. read more

I was used to going to Pearle Vision for my glasses when I still lived in Houston and have always had a great experience with their selection, customer service, and ease of using vision insurance. Remembering that they were always happy to fix my glasses for me, I also brought a pair (not from Pearle Vision) to see if they'd be willing to alter the fitting so that it didn't fall off my face everytime I remotely looked down. This Pearle Vision location is new and conveniently near a Super Target. The staff was amazing and got my out of there in a jiffy. I when in with my husband the 1st time (about 5 months) and met Inessa. She was professional & helped me with my every need. My glasses were ready earlier than expect and Inessa noticed me right away. I had that personal touch. Then the unthinkable happened I lost my prescription sunglasses. My husband and I went to Pearl Vision in Frisco that's about 20 miles from where we live. And let me say it was worth the 20 mile drive. My experience with this location of Pearl Vision was by far my he best ever. Elliott was the best. He was extremely helpful in the very aspect of my visit. My husband and I were in there in less than an hour, that is how efficient he was. Had the best eyeglass purchase experience at this Pearle Vision location. The GM of the store Ibran provided exceptional customer service from the beginning to the end. Walked in with my prescription in hand, selected a frame, and went over all the various lens options. Ibran ordered a new pair of frames for me and more importantly a pair that fit my particular face. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase. He spent time adjusting the frames to sit correctly when I picked them up. I was so pleased with the service Ibran provided that I ended up ordering a new pair of sunglasses as well. My husband and I went in to look for glasses and they asked if we needed help, but gave us space to try on glasses..as we found some we started to like a very friendly gentleman helped us narrow down the choices, taking into account price and fit and style. Dr. Yeh is truly a caring Optometrist. She and her staff provide exceptional customer service. She follows through with her customer service, which is a rarity now adays and is very admirable. About a month after my exam I started experiencing reading problems and I wasn't happy with the contacts I bought. She re-examined me and offered a solution and worked to get me a better fitting contact. I had already bought a year's supply per my insurance, but she was able to get them to trade me. She didn't have to do this, but she really cares and works hard on her patients behalf. I highly recommend her. read more

The location at north frisco has awesome, personalized customer service. They really care about providing the suitable lenses and frames. They have a wide verity of brands including tiffany & co, Prada, burburry, Tory burch to name a few at very reasonable price. They also price match the competitors which ended my search for the most stylish and reasonably priced glasses. They always have additional in store promotions. I went to Pearle Vision to pick out some frames for a prescription I obtained the same day from a local eye doctor and my experience blew me away! Not only did I find the perfect pair with ease, Ibran who helped us was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He called my insurance to get the authorization hold released from the other Dr. office so I could purchase my frames with him which took maybe 5 minutes. Ibran worked efficiently knowing we were in a little but of a time crunch. While he was serving us, one of his other customers came in to pick up glasses. It was clear that his customers were very important to him as he successfully assisted both of us simultaneously without me making me feel neglected. On top of it all, he offered to have my frames ready within the hour! I really wanted them this week before going out of town next week and so their turn time was icing on the cake for me. I really liked the Dr. who did my exam at another optical company but their optical salesman was terrible. So I decided to try Pearle Vision for the glasses.
