As far as the doctors office, she's great with the kids. Fit my son for contacts and answered all questions. I will continue to go there because we feel welcomed and comfortable. The glasses/contact office is the best! They are a local family that believe hard work and taking care of there customers. When my boys and I walk in, they know them by name and immediately know who needs their glasses tightened and who needs scratches repaired. We always purchase the warranty because I know my kids will need it. For the record, we have a few closer offices but we feel welcomed and comfortable here and will continue to be Highland Village Pearl Vision customers. read more

We love to shop local when we can but sometimes we seek the peace of mind but purchasing from a national brand. Three years ago we purchased about $400 in glasses for our child at Pearle Vision in Lewisville. About a year ago we purchased another pair of glasses with a slightly updated prescription at the cost of about $250. Today I went by the Pearle Vision location in Highland Village as the glasses needed to be tighten. The gentleman that greeted ask to look up our name before proceeding with adjusting the glasses. He could not find us in his system. He mentioned that they did not sell the Vera Bradley brand. I mentioned that we purchased them at their location in Lewisville. He then told me that we would have to drive their to get them adjusted. Good customer service does not exist at this location. #Fail read more

Nothing but great things to say about this place. I'm new to eyeglasses and I seem to be very hard on them. The manager or gm is always there and fixes them each time or gets me set up with warranty work. Always very responsive and gets back to me when the new glasses arrive. I have only had glasses for a year and a half and have already gone in there for fixes from the lens popping out or the frame cracking. Always very nice. read more

The optometrist here was lovely. Unfortunately, she recommended I purchase my glasses with the store next door who sold me the worst pair of glasses I've ever worn, blamed it on the optometrist's prescription, and then ensured a refund for said glasses was impossible. At no point did they make their 'no refund' policy obvious to me as a first-time customer before purchasing the glasses, and once the items were paid for I was locked-in to an expensive pair of unusable glasses. To be fair, they offered to exchange or repair them. But with no option to refund the defective item thanks to their incompetent first attempt at making my glasses I have no trust in them doing their job properly the second time. And now they get to keep my hard-earned money. Absolutely rotten business owners. Avoid. read more

Does anyone say, sure give me the crappy ones that scratch easily? I swear to all that is spiritual and good in this world that the base price is just there to get suckers in the door. Some businesses just don't get that the world is changing. Stop the BS. Post your prices. Be reasonable. Enough with the scammy nonsense. I think i can speak for ALL your customers. We are SICK of it. Be Transparent - post pricing, be competitive, stop the endless up selling. Be Friendly - this is a patient, doctor, service provider relationship. We have been going to see Dipan for several years now. The customer service between purchases (a tighten here, fixed screw there) is like nothing you see anymore. Went in yesterday and he referred to me by name, asked about me, my family, and got me fixed up in 5 minutes. We have referred more people their way than I can count. We had heard and seen the reviews about Pearl Vision in Highland Village. The great reviews did not disappoint. The owners, Dippen and his wife (sorry can't remember her name) were absolutely great in taking care of our needs and requirements. Dippen patiently helped us find frames that truly fitted us. Since we have two insurance policies, he made the effort to find out which one would be most benificial. Despite the fact that we came in 15 minutes before closing, Dippen didn't rush us so that we could get what we wanted. My wife and I both had surgery and had limited mobility and couldn't pick up our glasses. Dippen took the time to deliver the glasses at our home. Incredible! It's a family owned business I think, it's a husband and wife that work there. Both were very friendly and very helpful. It took me forever to find a pair of glasses I liked after even after many suggestions. I think I looked at glasses over an hour. Lol. And when I thought I found an "ok I guess these" pair she had me try on a couple more pair in which we found "the ones!!" Cute little black, nerdy, Coach glasses. I don't get new frames often so I gotta make sure they are gonna work for a while. Took a week to get them in and they are perfect. Perfect fit all the way around. Couldn't be happier. read more

My review is only of the optical boutique. A couple of years ago i had a very expensive pair of sunglasses lose a screw. By chance I just stopped in to ask if there were anyway to fix them and the owner personally replaced the screw and wouldn't let me pay for it. I've remembered that and when my RX was due this year I chose to purchase my frames from them. I had never had the eyeglass buying experience anywhere like I had here. I had NO idea glasses had "sizes" and him and his wife were MORE than helpful! They helped me choose the best glasses for my face and even stayed late after close when I called my husband to come meet me to help me choose what I wanted. He even ended up buying 2 pair! They have an extensive selection of designer glasses. I found a pair of Tiffany glasses I wanted but I didn't like the arms on them so they found a pair of black arms online for me and they are replacing them with the same style but different color! Wow! I can not recommend this location more! It's family owned and operated and you can tell a HUGE difference between their service and the big box locations. I also tried Eyes Nuveau in Southlake and will NEVER return there. The service was vague and impersonal and their frames are overpriced and outdated. So glad I found this place! The dr at this location wrote my husband a prescription for glasses that do not work for him. He returned and explained his problem to her and she agreed glasses would not work for him but her solution was for him to buy a new pair of glasses. They don't stand by their product. Can't say enough good things about this location! I've used them several times now for Rx glasses and sunglasses. The sweet couple are professional, helpful and they know their business! I had to come in for glasses because I was spending too much time in my contacts. I hate glasses. Always have. They not only gave me honest feedback about the styles for my face shape, they also advised me on which frames would better hide my thicker lenses due to my strong Rx. I now LOVE my glasses and wear them almost everyday. This is the only place our family of 7 will go for glasses! read more

Scheduled appointment here only because it was covered for my son's insurance and they had a lot of appointments available. I prefer going to Contact Lens Center in Carrolton, but insurance won't pay for this provider. We had a short wait, and I asked where their restroom was. The receptionist said, "We don't have a public restroom, but you can walk down to McAlister's Deli. They have a restroom you can use." I thought, "I'm a customer, not a public of Pearl Vision...and a public, not a customer of McAlister's". I didn't say anything because she was just an employee and probably didn't make the rule. After the eye exam, I was told that in addition to the $75 billed to my insurance, I owed $84.60 for a contact fitting. When I paid with $100 cash, the receptionist shorted my change by $10.10 and said I only gave her $90. I told her I only had $20s, so that was impossible. She looked in her cash bag and said, Oh you're right it was $100 in 20's. Then I asked for my receipt and she said her printer wasn't working. I told her they needed to provide something since I gave them cash. The doctor was able to print a receipt. After this I chose not to fill the prescriptions at their store, and will never return. I would prefer paying out of pocket than getting scammed by Pearl Vision. read more
