don't go here I purchased frames for mysel, the next day I go in I'm looking around to purchase frames for m 6 year old daughter and with my wife. The lady that looks middle eastern but sounds Russian accused me of stealing frames when all I did was grabbed them looked at them and put them back. after putting them back she accused me of stealing and putting frames in pocket. my wife told me to empty my pockets to prove I wasn't stealing and I did. The lady the has audacity to pat my pockets down from over register. the sad part she was the lady helping be before with my frames. She felt embarrassed and try to apologize my wife told her how dare she make those acc on front of my daughter and that we will take our business else where. we were only in there 5 minute. I showed her i had $1,500 in my pocket why would I steal and I am Christian with a Christian hat on. At that she has all my information why we I still and top of that the glasses have sensors. I will never return again at that I'm going to return my glasses. read more

Update to my original post 2 months ago: After several months I've been told the only solution to my complaint is to purchase other frame wear (unacceptable to me). With that said, Pearle Vision Lewisville made the choice to not refund my money. This franchise business owner has made the choice to keep the frames I purchased and the $1,198 I paid for them. Customer service is good, but in my opinion, their way of doing business is unethical. That's okay... because vengeance is not mine. I am sure this location needs the $1,198 more than I do. I am a true believer in sowing and reaping. Just as this business owner has sown a dishonest profit, therefore will reap a well-deserved loss. read more

On November 17, 2023 I bought a pair of Prada glasses. But the frames I received were not the frames I had picked out. I returned the Prada and picked out a pair of Dolce. When I asked the salesperson, Alla P Minh Nguyen, who sold me the glasses about the difference in price between the Prada and the Dolce, she told me that both glasses were the same price. My sales receipt for the Prada shows they cost $659. This picture of the Dolce frames has a price on them of $399. I thought the salesperson was making a very scandalous move to steal $260 from me. I want that $260 returned to me. I would also like to see some disciplinary action brought against that thief that works for you. read more

Note that the bad reviews are for the Doctor next door - not this Pearle Vision. It is like writing a bad review of Costco food court and tagging it under the attached Doctor... I needed a pair of prescription sunglasses and this location was convenient for me. Upon walking in the door, I was promptly greeted and told that they would be right with me after they finished with a customer at the desk. After I told her I was looking for glasses, she directed me to their ample selection of glasses that could be turned into sunglasses (it turns out just about any pair can be made with darker lenses!) My wife wasn't with me, so she served as my opinion spouse. However before making my final selection, she was nice enough to take pictures of my two choices with my phone so that I could send them to the Mrs Marc M for final signoff. My prescription sunglasses came within a week and the service experience was the same when I went to pick them up. They were slightly busy, but they worked with all of the customers and she checked the fitting for me. I've been back a couple of times to have them readjust the frames ... once after someone accidentally sat on them and bent them pretty well. Never the less, they were able to mend them back and I still use this pair today! read more

Well it finally happened, I have to wear glasses now! So I went to the pearl vision located in Lewisville and had a phenomenal experience with their sales person Margo. I ended up purchasing two pairs of really swanky glasses; after all if you're going to be four eyes, you might as well look fabulous! I got an excellent deal, ridiculously good service and I've had to go in for periodic adjustments with no problems at all! Thank you pearl vision, thank you Margo and thank you for the super fast turnaround and getting my 2 pairs the vey next day!!!! read more

Originally, my visit went very well. The glasses I purchased were high quality but didn't survive the onslaught of a 100 lb German Shepherd. When I called to get my PD to order sunglasses online, they refused to give it to me DESPITE BEING REQUIRED TO GIVE IT TO ME BY FEDERAL LAW. Their excuse? PD changes over time and my rx was expired. That is only true with regards to children over time NOT ADULTS. Once we hit adulthood, it is very rare for PD to change. Olivia said in my call that they do not give out that information so they willingly admit that they break federal law. Either find a different vendor or make sure to get your PD immediately when they issue the PD. Again. Despite what they say, according to the Eyeglass Rule with the Federal Trade Commission, ALL EYE DOCTORS are required to give you that information. The only exception is if they are a federal, state or local government which Pearle Vision is not. They cannot charge extra and they cannot make you sign a waiver to sign away your rights. They try to avoid giving you that information because you need it to order glasses online, meaning, not through them. Stay away!!! read more

I wanted to give pearl vision a second chance since they are so close to my house but I should have known better. I got my prescription glasses here last year. The anti glare coating peeled off before the year was out. I went back and they told me it wasn't covered by warranty after spending over $600. Last week I went back this time I had my frames brought somewhere else all I needed was the glass installed. The lady advised me It would cost me 360. Great I told her to charge my card half the cost and when I picked my glasses I would pay the other half. This lady charged the entire cost. I am never ever going back again. read more

This place is terrible! I wish I could give them at least a negative 5. There is a lady with an accent that seems so pleasant but beware. When my glasses came in, it was not the set of glasses I chose. I brought it to her attention. She turns around to say, "Those are the 2 pair you chose. Maybe, because your eyes were dilated you couldn't see them right" What the heck? I spent too much money on both pairs of glasses for her to be so prude. My family will NEVER go back to this place. This is by far the best place I've gotten glasses and I've been wearing them for 20 years!!! Dr. Day helped me take out my contacts and Margo helped me find 2 dope pair of designer frames for a very reasonable price! She was very helpful even after I got frustrated trying to put my contacts back in. Margo even helped me get a pair of my glasses done within the same hour so I could drive myself home (yes my vision is that bad without contacts in lol) I am definitely coming back for more frames and would recommend this particular branch to all my friends. Margo really has superb customer service and I LOVE my new frames!!!! read more

Keep in mind that every store is separate so for any repairs etc you have to got back to the same store. This store did a great job in fixing my Daugther's glasses. We did. It purchase the protection and they could have easily said that we needed to purchase new frames. They did not. They asked us to leave the glasses and then called us three days later to import us that the glasses were fixed at no charge. Now that is great honest customer service. read more

This is my third year coming to this Pearle location. First Alla helped me and then Margo. They took my EyeMed insurance and I only had a small deductible able to pay. Check out their Ray Band and Tom Ford selection, they are my favorite go to brands. read more

Do not I repeat do not go and see these people they will not help you the dr. Mark Gibson instead of helping or even listening when I requested a brand of contacts kept trying to force me to a different brand this is the worst exp. I have ever had with an eye doctor. read more

Pearl Vision Lewisville TX needs to do better to fix their wrong doings. I ordered high power transition lens for my new pair of prescription glasses and they cut the regular lens to put them in instead. They blamed the lab for sending the wrong lens so they did reordered for correct transition lens again. However, I'm going into a very busy month of work rotation and my schedule off time is also during their closing business hours. I asked them to find a differemt solution for me because I can't come in and wait for them to cut the new lens and install the new lens takes at least 30-40 min if not longer. I asked them to just put in same type of frame as the incorrect pair and I will switch out the wrong pair when I pick up the transition lens and they said the frames are back order. Really?! They didn't even take time to look because I just finished posing my question and the back order answer was readily out of their mouth. They recommended that I PURCHaSE another frame at MY EXPENSE if I can't come in and wait for the correct lens to be installed. WTH I have to pay more on top of the $800 I've already paid because of Pearl Vision's mistake?! Heck NO! I asked to speak to the manager and Olivia told me the manager isn't working that day. I'd call the previous day and Alla said the manager wasn't working then either. So bottom line is STAY AWAY from this location. I've been a prescription glass wearer for more than 20 years and have always used Pearl Vision. I will never go here again. BEWARE!!!!! read more

The store was ok. A huge selection and are always busy so sometimes you have to wait to get helped. Pricey but quality seems good. The optometrist on location there though is rude, the previous optometrist at that location was really tops and he was the reason I went back but looks like he left. the office gets 2 stars. read more

After some much disturbing news about my unsuccessful Lasik surgery (don't ask!), I learned I have to go back to glasses. I had no clue where to even begin. I happened to be at Vista Ridge mall and stopped in to a glasses shop there. Without insurance and with a promotion, looked like glasses would cost between $300-350 (not including an exam). I was overwhelmed by all of the choices and the look of having glasses back on my face, so I frantically rushed out of there. Fast forward a couple weeks, I'm too lazy to go back into the mall and I see this Pearle Vision right nearby, so I stopped. Walking in, the place is nice and there seems to be a decent selection. The woman was really helpful and was giving me her honest opinion about what looked good. She worked some numbers and got the price around $320, so I decided to go for it. The only downside is that they won't be ready for a week. If I had walked inside the mall, I could have them in an hour. Ah well. Overall, it was pretty painless, although I wish a little cheaper! Hopefully I'll have four eyes by next week. read more
