Hard at work on my glasses.
    Kristine K.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I was worried about coming in due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am a nurse and I am particular about the sanitization proceduresNo need to fret. They have a great set up. Dr. Troy Ranggard,Tracy and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, kind and professional. I referred my friend here for his exam also and he loved it. Said that he has never been to a better, Optometrists office. Clean, fresh and organized.

Sweet note attached to my invoice. :)

A general, routine eye exam should not take up two hours of a patient's time…read more A patient also ought not be kept waiting alone in an exam room for 30 or more minutes after having the pupil dilation drops placed in their eyes, wondering when (or if) the doc is going to return to the exam room to finish the eye examination. During my appointment, after at least a 30 minute wait, I left the exam room to speak to someone at the front desk about the excessive wait time (who stated that the doc was with another patient), and then returned to the exam room. Magically, the doc re-appeared to the exam room almost instantly. No apology. This was my experience when I went for a routine exam last month. During this experience, I was reminded how much waiting time I encountered during my previous routine eye exam here a few years prior. It causes me to wonder why, when the office does not appear to be in the least bit "busy", a patient who has health care coverage via medical assistance, is subjected to excessive wait time. Certainly other patients would have expressed complaints about excessive wait times if they had encountered them.

I've never felt rushed -- which is very difficult to find in a healthcare setting these days. I'm extremely nearsighted and from the beginning he educated me about risks associated with this condition; especially retinal tear which is an eyesight emergency. Sure enough, I had one and got in with a retinal specialist the same day. (I can also highly recommend Retina Center [Dr. Vaughn Emerson] -- the referral Dr. Snyder gave me). Dr. Snyder also carries high quality, brand name, designer frames that his friendly staff do a great job helping me choose. (I have 'made in USA', State brand). They measure and help me find ones that are both stylish and fit my face. Figuring I use my glasses every day, it's worth getting really well-fitting and comfortable glasses! If you're looking for a great eye care provider, I highly recommend Dr. Snyder.

I called Eyes All Over while shopping for a comprehensive and contact lens exam. Bailey was highly…read moreknowledgeable and asked great questions to glean details to preemptively present information useful to my particular situation. The parking lot is small, with six spots shared between the street-facing optometry office and an interactive media studio behind it. I was greeted by both Bailey and the sunny Teri upon walking in. Soon as I was done with the paperwork, Bailey had a machine quickly measure my eyes for basic numbers to hand off to the optometrist (no puff of air involved, in case that bothers anyone), and I was ushered to the office to meet Dr. Matthew Anderson. Matt is a rather quiet individual - going expect overt humor or any chit-chat. That said, he was professional and thorough, whether in checking my eyesight, fitting me for contact lenses, or rechecking the fitting after I'd put on a trial pair. Eyes All Over typically gives over a week's worth of daily contact lenses for a trial run, and Matthew makes a point of guiding clients towards economical lens choices that offer enough support for their eyes without wallet overkill. Optometrists often have a refitting policy in event a prescription doesn't feel quite right, and Matthew's refitting policy extends 60 days from the examination. Overall, a good experience. I'll be back in a week to pick up the trial contact lens sets on order for me. Meanwhile, I have the remaining pairs the office had on hand to try out.

Hey did you notice the picture of the lady on the Eyes All Over Yelp page?…read moreWhen my wife needed to get new glasses, moving more and more to the small business and local companies, I did some Yelpsearch. There were a few different options but Eyes All Over kind of jumped out at me. First for their excellent reviews and second for that picture of the lady. Even though they did not have a lot of reviews we thought this would be our kind of place. I called to verify if we needed an appointment or not and was told if we had a prescription within the last year that we did not need an appointment. My wife did have a recent prescription so we stopped in on a Saturday morning. Eyes All Over is conveniently located on 7th St just outside of St Paul. We were promptly greeted by Teri when we walked in. Since we had our prescription it was just a matter of my wife finding some frames. Now something you need to know about my wife. If she were to go to the grocery store for a bag of chips, and there were only 2 bags of chips left in the whole store, it would probably take her an hour to decide. Yes she is very indecisive. Teri was kind enough to blink the lights in the store to let us know they were closing. I am just kidding. Terri come over to offer her opinion and help. With her assistance and knowledge we were able to select a frame. Teri then guided us through the lens process explaining our options and insurance throughout. Less than a week later our glasses were ready to pick up. Very pleased with our experience and excellent customer service. We did get a good deal on our frames however our overall cost was more than we paid when we last got glasses. That could be attributed to a number of different reasons. Either way we enjoyed our experience and will definitely return next time we need glasses which may be for me next time.

Their integration with Eye Med actually was helpful; I had never been in before but they were able to pull up my information easily. My exam with Dr. Boothroyd was excellent; she is extremely knowledgeable and really good at explaining the complicated things she was observing with my particular ocular physiology. Buying my new frames and lenses went fine, although prices are maybe a little higher than I was expecting. That might be just an inflation thing since my last such purchase, though. The showroom has an impressive selection, but I was disappointed that they don't have any of the kinds of frames with magnetic sunglass attachments. There was also some fuss when choosing my frames when the sales person was confused about which types of lenses go with which brand of frames. That seems like more of a problem with their system than with the sales person, who was otherwise helpful enough (she actually picked out the frames I wound up buying). In the future I could see myself buying my actual glasses somewhere else, but I liked the exam enough to stick with it indefinitely.

Meh. Pros: Enjoy…read morethe fact that you can obtain an eye exam fairly easy with either online scheduling or calling ahead and that they accept most insurances. Dr. Wallerich is awesome, friendly, knows his stuff, etc. Always willing to adjust glasses, the space is clean, variety of glasses to pick from, allow glasses and contacts to ship to store or home, etc. Cons: Inconsistent team members / staff and weird hidden hours. For example, I obtained a fresh eye exam and new prescription with the trial contacts. When I went to order the new prescription via phone, I could tell something was off. The staff member had ordered my old prescription which was annoying as I had to go back in, explain the situation, get a re-order, etc. It was also disappointing to learn that the internal system doesn't sync with eye exams showing me that an extra check and balance must happen for every order. Furthermore, I rushed here today to pick up my correct contact prescription and arrived to a gated environment reading, "We'll Be Back at 2:30 pm". It is 1:30 pm and I have to wait 1-hour or leave and come back. Overall, to get in here is convenient. Contrary, this place will cost you time which 100% plays a factor into my future of visiting here. Please tighten these flaws up. There is such potential and I'm losing faith.
