I have gone to many different places, and pretty much thought they were all the same, and I eventually settled on a "chain" store, thinking it would be "better". Boy was I wrong! Worst optometrist I've ever met in my life…read more I came here for an eye exam to purchase contact lenses. Michelle Ford told me that the lenses I needed weren't in stock and she regularly doesn't have them, so I needed the purchase my own trial pair, which was almost $400! I took my eyeglasses prescription to another retailer to purchase frames and when they came back, I couldn't see out of them. Turns out, the prescription she gave me was completely wrong. I called her and she asked me to come in to re-exam my eye, then asked if I had diabetes (I don't; I'm a fit, active person with no family history) then gave me grief for purchasing glasses from another retail store. Do you blame me? She didn't charge me for an exam the second time, but I surely will never return to her. Her lack of professionalism and ability to do her job should encourage you to seek another optometrist, as well.

However, in the last couple of years they have been everything, but friendly. They seem to hate to deal with Good Rx coupons and they just seem to be really unhappy. I found this place by accident when I was out in Hudson for a doctor's appointment right after the…read morenew year. Saw the big sign, the big fenced in lot, the building looked appealing. Walked in to the nice smell of candle and saw shelves of jewelry right in front of me past an old rustic table. I'm home! I spent an hour going through all the rooms and chatting it up with the friendly clerk, came out with some treasures. In summary: this is my new favorite vintage store in Cleveland! It's a former florist where they grew all their own flowers so the building is big and has a country and shabby chic appeal. The style in here is an interesting mix of cool retro vintage, shabby country, and newer things that go with having a cool lifestyle. Their handmade soaps are the cheapest prices i've seen around town. I love that so much recycled and repurposed things are here: it's not just a place for gifts (for yourself or others), but i'm finding practical things too (I've been here three times total since I first walked in this January). It's the kind of place where you'll see a shelf of interesting old and weird books next to brand new quirky cookbooks, a rack of nice jewelry calling out at you, then around the corner there's some amazing old stoves and shelves of retro kitchen stuff and 60's barware, and before you know it you're planning to redo your living room with mid-century decor and cool painted furniture while you stock up on great rock records. There's things i'm not into but I can see the appeal like old architectural pieces and farm antiquey things and retro kid's stuff. In all, it's like a big general store but for cool stuff.
