After following a conversation on Nextdoor ap, where Eye Candy was highly recommended for their trendy selection of glasses, I scheduled an appointment at the Pinecrest Orange Village location. Everyone was cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. During my eye exam, Dr. Mullins found a retina tear and very quickly I had an appointment at the Beachwood Retina Center for a laser procedure. My eye exam was on Saturday, by Tuesday I had the retina procedure and by Monday I had my fantastically trendy fun glasses with sunglasses that magnetically attach. That's an eye exam, laser procedure and new glasses all in SIX days! I am extremely satisfied with Eye Candy. When I couldn't decide on a new frame style, I loved the selection of frames Russ chose for me. Ruskin, the optician, caught a lense adjustment problem no other optician has found which has always left my vision slightly strained causing my left eye to constantly ache and droop. From my previous two highly reputable opticians, I was told it would be the best adjustment they could make. I had no expectation the problem would be corrected and didn't even mention it. Ruskin noticed my left eye is higher than the right and with prisms and such, it's important. My eyes are comfortable for the first time in years with my new glasses and I love the look of the frames. read more

I was positively impressed with the very thorough and non invasive high-tech eye exam which delivers an extremely precise diagnosis. Then, the Eye Candy crew is very knowledgeable and keenly personalizes service to each client's needs. The frame selection may not seem to be as extensive as in some other stores, but frames are presented in a clear, unencumbered fashion, a bit as it you were shopping for jewelry, and there are such original models to choose from! Arguably, the Eye Candy store marketing would be pitched for a younger customer base, but the frame selection truly includes frames based on style, not on age. So, if you are hoping for a glasses makeover, look no further. A big shout out to Marina who is a fabulous frame stylist--her advice is very much on point according to your style and prescription. In short, Eye Candy turns the traditional drudgery comprised of the eye exam, selecting frames and getting fitted into an educational and friendly experience that no optometrist and eyeglasses store around CLE town can seem to surpass. Amazing experience. The first time in my eye health experience that I felt relaxed and excited a out selecting a frame and undergoing the eye exam. Atmosphere was whimsical, colorful and energetic. My eye care coordinator, Marina was knowledgeable, and fun to work with. I explained what I was looking for in a frame, and even though there appeared to be a ga-zillion choices, she located the EXACT PERFECT frame I had in visited within 5 minutes of me walking into the store! Horrible with names, but the technician who measured me was fun to interact with too. He's a perfect fit for the total eyecare experience there. All said, these guys had just the right swag, and knowledge to offer an experience I could feel confident in. My eye exam sister was awesome too. Run to eye candy for your eye care needs. Had one of the best experiences that you can have at Eye Candy. This was my first-time going but my mom was familiar with the Westlake location so I had decided to give them a try. I primarily wear contacts and have not bought new glasses in years so I had no idea which type of frames would work with my face shape or what I was even interested in for that matter. Marina was super attentive and wasted no time in grabbing me about 6/7 frames to try on that were all very flattering and my style to the T. I was even able to leave with a pair that day. Dr. Eric Friedrich was also very personable and friendly which made for a great experience. I am one of those people who obsess about everything, and eyeglasses are on my list. I used to take so much time trying to find a new pair, that my prescription would get old.. Then I found Eye Candy. So many amazing pairs that the problem becomes which one. As to customers service, a few months after I got my glasses, I fell and scratched the lens. I went in to have them re-lensed. Thanks When I went to hand over my credit card, I was informed they were under Warranty and the lens would be replaced for free. I needed new glasses and I remember complimenting a woman I met at the Art Museum on hers. She told me about eye candy. I was so happy to hear they were opening a east side location! This is probably the best optical place in Ohio and overall my best personal experience. My eye exam appointment was very thorough with dr Eric Friedrich. The test equipment is state of the art. Eric is very knowledgeable and the glasses are a good fit. Jamaica and Marina helped me pick the frames that best suit my facial features. Choose this place because they have optical lab onsite and website said glasses ready in one hour.Got next day appointment. Was checked in right away by Branka who was terrific- very helpful finding affordable frames that looked great! Dr. Barkan was also great- explained everything clearly, very nice!
