Terrible place bad attitudes lazy people especially the guy name Henry very disrespectful no help with picking out eyeglasses he want even measure for a new frame un inviting atmosphere if you pay in cash in takes a month to get refunded and its by check the other ladie that sits at the desk don't give a care either just want the money don't care a bout you getting a decent pair of glasses or your time beware! read more

I was a patient here for quite some time. Their staff was always pleasant and helpful. Today I call in for my appointment and the person answering the phone was barely pleasant. "This is Kim.....". I waited for - can I help you or any pleasantries and nothing came. I asked is she was able to assist me and she responded - "I answered the phone didn't I?" Wasn't previously the level of service I anticipated. There are many vision places - if they can't be pleasant - there is no reason to continue going there. read more

SVS Vision Optical was my best choice. The eye doctor was great and gave me a wonderful eye exam. I was really happy that me exam was accurate. Also, my optician (lady) was so nice and kind. She felt around my ears to make sure my glasses fit and they were lose. So, she took them to a machine to maje them easy to bend to fit my face. Then, she once again checked that the glasses had a nice fit on my face. I was treated like a million bucks. read more

The doctor I saw and the staff were all so nice and knowledgeable. No question was unanswered or felt judged. And Dr Junkin explained everything I need to know about my eyes and the exam. Nothing felt rushed. And my glasses came in earlier than expected! The office was clean and tidy. I was even able to make a next-day appointment. My only "complaint" about the whole experience is a small selection, but that is most likely down to what my insurance covered and current styles. read more

Thorough, professional, and affordable! 10/10 I would highly recommend! I went for my eye exam, expecting to get my Rx and then order my glasses from an online shop that is super cheap because who has hundreds of dollars to spend on glasses every year? A lot of people, but definitely not me. When I said that, they explained that often they can get a better deal by finding frames and lenses that my insurance will cover. They did just that and I was able to get a new pair for half the price I would have paid online! And my wife was also able to get her glasses much cheaper than the super cheap online eyeglasses shop! EVERYONE at SVS in Middleburg was very friendly and helpful. I went in for a glasses exam. I arrived early being a new patient here as I expected to fill out forms. There wasn't a lot of forms though, so they offered that I could look at frames while I waited. I need a wide frame and there usually aren't many choices. I also have a strong prescription and need thicker lenses. They answered my questions about these things and directed me to exactly what I needed. Even made a suggestion as to which frames help hide the thick lenses I have. Surprisingly they had a good selection of wider frames too. Dr. Rais was great. Very nice, very helpful. Despite my late appt he wasn't in a rush. He explained everything he was doing and ask the different types of bifocal lenses there are as I had questions. The exam was painless and thorough, but not overly long. After the exam, they helped me pick out the best glasses for me. Again, extremely helpful. Not pushy. They didn't care which lens upgraded I chose or didn't choose. They explained the use of each one but weren't pressuring me to but each one. They explained what my insurance allowed and what the total charges were for each aspect. The frames, lenses, etc. The pricing was even much better than I expected. I haven't gotten my glasses yet, so I won't comment on that big issue. But as far as the office in Middleburg Hts., I couldn't be happier with them. I was told my glasses would be in in about a week and it's only been two days. If they only take a week, that is way faster than I've ever experienced. While I was waiting, I saw a gentlemen who had gotten glasses a week ago stop in for an adjustment to the fit of his glasses. He was helped quickly and seemed very happy with them other than the one side was a little off. Again, if they are this helpful I will be extremely happy. read more

Visited this Middleburg location on Saturday AUG 28 with my 80 year old Mom looking for new eye glasses. The ladies working were sweet, attentive, knowlegeable and seemed to love their job and helping people. THANK YOU! I will defintely return again. Highly recommend this location! Pros: - Staff was friendly upon visit. - Doctor was helpful. - Free trial contacts, re-wetting drops (dry-eyes), and solution. Cons: - When calling to receive contact lens prescription, they were hesitant to give it out although they are required to by federal law. "I will have to get back to you since this isn't finalized." They told me to come in for another trial pair of contact lenses which have the prescription on them but still won't read off the prescription... silly. - I asked if they accepted Aetna (insurance) and they did so I was expecting a free yearly eye exam... I ended up paying $80 and later learned that I needed to ask if they are an Aetna "provider" to avoid these fees. I feel they should have clarified that as I'm a younger person. read more

My daughter got a prescription for eyeglasses and not needing glasses myself, I had no idea where to go. I took her to 3 different places locally to find that they did not accept our insurance, their prices for children's glasses I would have to pay totally out of pocket for, and they were even a little rude. We stumbled into SVS vision by chance and I cannot be more pleased that we did. Not only did they accept our insurance (Hooray!!!) but they had a good selection of children's frames, the staff was very kind and not overbearing (nothing worse than when someone is hovering over your shoulder eyeballing everything you do and you are trying to browse or make such a personal purchase) and they were very prompt with service. The store is small but cozy and there was a good selection. The frames she chose were not 100% covered, but the additional cost after insurance was moderately priced for an attractive quality product she will be wearing on her face every single day. I was very pleased with the service, the staff, and the selection. We will definitely come back and I would recommend anyone. Much nicer than Lenscrafters down the strip. read more

I had a great exam. Everyone was kind and more than happy to help. I was able to find frames within seconds because the ladies had been thinking about it since I walked in. Granted I was the last patient of the day and I'm sure they were ready to go home, they didn't hesitate to provide excellent service.
