Staff was nice but the business practice is shady. after paying close to a thousand dollars for my glasses, they tried to charge me for a some type of shipping fee that was not included in my purchase or reflected in my fully paid receipt. to make things worse, I purchased the insurance and was told I would have replacement lens no questions asked if they got scratch, no mention of deductible or one time limit. So, with such a high prices, their business practice and low costumer service, I do not recommend this business. read more

I brought in glasses that I purchased online. When I got them the right lens stuck out more in the front than the left. I went to my local Pearle Vision to see how much an adjustment would cost. Stop harassing me Pearl Vision Westminster, Dr Glass optometrist offices for an appointment which I did not schedule or authorize at all! Last year I went to this office for my yearly eye exam & had ordered new glasses. Everything went good. Optometrist and staff are good. Now last 4/5/2025 I received a text message asking me to confirm or reschedule an appointment Pearl Vision decided to schedule for me on 4/28. I called and informed them to cancel the entire appointment and remove me from their list of follow ups. Then on 4/8/2025 & 4/12 I received an email asking me again to confirm the so called 4/28 appointment they scheduled for me. I called them and very kindly asked the man who answered the call to cancel this and also remove me from their list and he responded he would handle this. And now here I am being harassed with 2 emails asking me to confirm the 4/28 appointment which I never scheduled. What part of "NO" does this office not understand!!! Leave me alone & don't plan my life... I did not authorize this appointment. Is this the way they drum up business? WTH! I give this place a No Star at all! read more

I visited Pearle Vision at 16498 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683 for an eye exam and an updated prescription -- this was my first time at this location. Emily, the optical technician, explained my EyeMed benefits and told me I had excellent coverage, including up to $200 toward frames. After my exam with Dr. Luong, I returned to Emily to choose frames. I told her I planned to reuse my current Oakley frames, which I paid about $150 for and still liked. Emily encouraged me to take advantage of the $200 frame benefit instead, and directed me to their Oakley selection. I didn't find anything that fit well and told her I'd stick with my existing frames. At that point, Emily brought over a pair of Prada frames that fit better. While processing the paperwork, she told me they were $1,000 -- but with a 40% promotion, it would reduce the cost. I was surprised by the price and asked if all frames were really that expensive now. She said yes, that prices had gone up across the board. Feeling pressured and unaware of other options, I went ahead with the purchase, believing it was my only viable choice. Later, I found out that many frames at Pearle Vision are not $1,000 and that more affordable options were available -- I was simply never shown them. As a senior citizen, I now feel I may have been deliberately steered toward a high-priced item. I suspect Emily may work on commission and prioritized the sale over my needs or budget. I walked away feeling misled and taken advantage of. If you're visiting, especially if you're a senior, be sure to ask explicitly to see all frame options -- including lower-priced ones. Don't assume what you're being shown is all that's available. read more

Just turning 60, I finally had to do the glasses thing, not knowing much about the whole process, we picked a local eye doctor and we came up with Pearle Vision, the Dr was excellent, staff was very helpful and the products in the store were all top of the line. There were a few different ways to do the contact lens maintenance, so I did the monthly and I got great discounts. I ordered new Ray*Bans for glasses. Didn't expect to spend as much as I did, but insurance covered a good portion and really got the best service and products around.
