The office environment and the thoughtful setup are super appreciated. There are plenty of spaced out waiting areas, and a little nook with a TV playing kids movies. They also have TVs mounted overhead above the seats to keep kids entertained while they do their cleaning. They provide the kids a token at the end of the visit to claim a prize from a toy vending machine. Staff are great with kids, full of tricks and methods to help your child ease through the visit. I also appreciated the extra attention for first time patients, as they showed us around and explained how the visit works. 100000% recommend them!

Pre-COVID, at just over a year old, we brought my son to a (different) dentist who was very aggressive with my sons teeth. It was his first time at the dentist and they strapped him down to scrape some plaque off his teeth. He was being held down by a tech. Needless to say, both my husband and son were a bit traumatized. So I decided for his next experience we needed something very different. AND WOW. Dr Cole and her staff were simply incredible with him. From the moment they opened the door, my son knew nothing but kindness. They took it slow, showed him every piece of equipment, and let him touch it. While he was still quite nervous, there were no tears and no meltdowns. Every staff member knew the names of all his favorite tv characters and talked him through each thing, using the cartoons as gateways to trust and good ol fashion diversion. I will never take him anywhere else. What a treasure our community has in Dr. D'Audra Cole and her office!

I told the receptionist I am nearby and he can get seen as I was only 5-6 minutes behind him. They refused to see him and said we had to reschedule. My daughter, who had a 4pm appt was called back. She waited 30mins to be seen once she was called back. Needless to say, my son would've also been sitting around the back waiting and I would've been there by the time anyone would've worked on him. Not to mention, I have waited longer in the waiting room because they have run late themselves in the past.

Dr Mansmann recommended 3 pediatric root canals on baby teeth. I went to literally 3 other dentists for 2nd opinion who all said this was not a good option for baby teeth, too risky for not much gain since they would come out shortly anythow. So I declined and sought dentristy help elsewhere. Dr Mansmann then decided to report me to DSS and we had to go through that whole investigation. (dismissed, of course). Pediatric dental of Frederick put a cap on the worst of the teeth and he was fine until they came out. I cannot believe this place is still in business, taking advantage of children's dental needs.
