Hygienists are attentive , and considerate. Usually very happy with office and cleanings. Lately, the quality of service has declined. Was very surprised . Our child had a cleaning, and told us , it was not a very good cleaning , and felt like it was done too quickly. Did not feel as smooth and clean as in past. That was a first. New people have been hired. They were not as thorough as Plong term hygienists that we are used to. My cleaning was done quickly and I felt there was still "stuff" between my teeth. Dr. Cho and his Dental Assistant Brittany provided top notch care, compassion and empathy during my dental appointment. Dr. Cho bedside manner is excellent. Dr. Cho is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to listen and explain my available options. I am extremely happy with the cosmetic filling Dr. Ch placed on my front tooth, you cannot even tell. I was looking around for a dentist this past week because I had a serious tooth abscess and it was making my life miserable. I called Robinwood and despite the fact this is considered an emergency, they told me they had to wait to schedule me in. I got aggravated with them and finally just told them what they can do to themselves. They are no different than Aspen Dental, and it has led me to the conclusion that corporate medicine needs to be outlawed - medical and dental practices should be private, nonprofit, or government/military and not run by greedy corporations. Corporations do not care about patients, but rather dollars. Never would use Robinwood, nor will I recommend it - I care for people too much to put them in the hands of such evil, greedy, and nasty companies. (this was copied and pasted from a Google review I submitted. Addendum follows) - I did hear back from Robinwood in response to the Google review I left, and basically what they said was that current patients are priority and that new patients do not matter. If they keep that attitude, they will go out of business quickly. I noted other complaints left by people too - they treat patients in an assembly line fashion, they don't have patience with children, and they seem to botch a lot of procedures. My problem though is if an emergency happens, it should be taken care of ASAP and not scheduled around "vacancies." So, I am not going to tolerate lectures anymore about why I cannot get to a dentist sooner - Robinwood is the explanation for that. read more

I took my kids to this practice and our appointments were never on time. We waited in the waiting room forever and then once they took us to a room, we waited again. I scheduled an appointment with them for myself as due to extreme dental anxiety, I had not been to the dentist since Dr. Knight retired. All the normal waiting was still in place and then they wanted to clean my teeth in like 4 different appointments to do a deep scale cleaning. Okay, though it would be a pain, I knew I had not been to the dentist in a few years, so I went through with it. When I went in for my next routine cleaning, they wanted to do the same thing, though I just had it done 6 months prior (and I am a religious brusher and flosser). When I said I wanted to refuse that, they said if I did they would refuse me as a patient. Have not been back since. read more

Wonderful place, have been going here for almost 9 years. I have always had a wonderful experience with everyone and it's weird that others haven't had the same. Only one dentist was ever a bit rude but they apologized for it and haven't been that way since. Sometimes the wait here can be a bit long but they are always very apologetic and explain why they are running behind. read more

Their reaction to coved goes against the CDC which is confusing as they are supposed to be the ones setting the standard. We had an appointment but felt treated as if we had the plague. I understand precautions but they're taking it to paranoid extremes. They had my daughter swish a prerinse before cleaning that left her nauseas for the rest of the day and a weird raised texture on her newly cleaned teeth. They're more concerned about covid than doing their jobs. It's their jobs to be dentists, they're more focused on ignoring the CDC and act as if we're already on total lockdown again. Disgusted!! Stay away from Dr. Appleton and the rest of those inexperienced dentist. I cracked my tooth. He sealed it up and I ended up getting a root canal under it. He figured I would but wanted to see if the tooth would heal itself... wth?! Ended up going back in for the root canal and I had to get a crown put on. The crown was THE WORST my new dentist has ever seen. The contact between the teeth gave me pain for years. Do not go here. Go to a nice dentist office. read more

If you are looking for rude people to care for your oral hygiene you have found the right practice. Not willing to work with schedules, transferring records, or understanding life happens. If you enjoy being shamed for having to cancel an appointment or bullied into keeping them as your orthodontist because you don't want to pull your kids out of school for a few hours every month -- again this practice will accommodate. If you enjoy having an appointment and then waiting 30+ extra minutes in reception and another 20 in the chair before they actually start... this is the practice for you. read more

My dental insurance sent me to this practice. Run People! I broke a tooth first week of July 2018 and couldn't get an appointment until August for a cleaning only. September 18 no time for me still. The tooth got infected and they still would not fix it. I had to get a root canal out of pocket elsewhere, the tooth stayed infected and was pulled. Nasty mouthed rude people work there. Guess small claims court is justified. Run!!! read more

Very unhappy. I had a crown done there a few years ago that came off. When I went back last month, they charged me $259 dollars to recement it. Not knowing any better I paid the fee and went home. Last night the crown came off again. I have a friend whose husband is a dentist and he told me $259 is a rip off to recement a crown. I had a broken filling with slight discomfort. I am a very anxious patient. I saw Carl Appleton. He offered 2 plans extraction or root canal. I begged him to just replace the filling to see if that would work. He rudely stated no. I started to cry. He threw me out of the practice. read more

The dental assistants are wonderful. The blonde spikey haired dentist I saw was not professional at all. He tried to give me a fist bump instead of a handshake. Then he tells me I have 17 cavities. After paying for half of them to be filled I got a second opinion and found out that I wasted my money because I do not have 17 cavities. read more

I have received tons of complements on my smile, but at same time was horrified people thought I chewed tobacco or smoked. The comments were "did you quit tobacco.." type of comments. My teeth did not fair well from chemo and I lost a beautiful smile, Dr. Appleton had my smile restored within two weeks (time between temp and perm covers, this time is needed to get sturdy ones, not the fragile in a day on site ones), and within two months had fixed or repaired or addressed other dental work that had been performed by another dentist I was told was best could be done. Wow, he resolved EVERYTHING and things I suspected were large cavities I was told where just holes to not worry about - he confirmed I was right and addressed those big issues first. He didn't treat me like I let my teeth go from neglect, and helped me feel resolved that half a century of a healthy mouth got tanked in just a couple years of toxic treatments. The crown I got two years after chemo that hurt like ... he said had decay and replaced it. The front tooth that abscessed way way up in the root that was just chipping off weekly bit by bit he crowned. Here is the kicker, they all look like MINE, natural, beautiful. This is huge deal especially if you went from a no issue mouth to a torrent of issues that seemed brushed off. Until he fixed them, I had NO IDEA people thought I was a tobacco user, very few people are aware of the cancer, those folks were the ones that pointed out chemo was hitting my teeth, but nothing I tried could stop it (e.g., moist washes, moist gels that stick on mouth roof, xylitol rinses, etc.). Folks aware of the cancer but not association to teeth commented the next day, "you look like you are feeling better" (actually no, but amazed on just how the smile can be first impression). Wait, there is more, I also got brain damaged from chemo, I use special help people and apps to produce something like this, which can takes hours to days, or for this review months - his staff helped me understand billing, helped spell words on checks, helped put appointments in my apps for me, and presented information in a matter that I could understand with great professionalism and tolerance. His staff and the Robinwood dental team are a mature and professional group of people. Thank you. One more thing, he is a dentist that believes to take the time needed for a quality job, albeit the office is packed which intimated me and keep me away for a couple years, but I assure you he will take whatever time is needed to do a perfect job - he is an artist and skilled dentist - so don't go in there expecting to be in out in 15 minutes like the other dentists. The office scheduling is spot on, my husband has gone there for years, and I have this year several visits, zero times have we been called later than our appointment time, zero times waiting in a dental chair due to delays. I never make appointments after these because I know an artist needs the time it takes to get the job done right - actually, after a few visits it was the first time in my life that I actually was relaxed with a doctor from the feeling of zero doubt and 100% confidence, first time in a little over a half century. Tis truly refreshing to encounter a group of professionals that have the philosophy of do it right first time or not at all. read more

Excellent facility and staff. I've never been disappointed or inconvenienced with any of my appointments. Their dental work and care has held up over time as I have been going there for about 3 years now. After switching from dentist to dentist for awhile due to insurance plans, I'm glad I ended up at Robinwood. I do feel that they are definitely on the "pricey" side, however. They often go over the recommended insurance cost of procedures for this area and there's always additional work to be offered and recommended. If you're not comfortable saying no to what you don't feel is necessary for you, you may end up with more work and dental bills than you planned for. It doesn't keep me from going back, though. Good work is good work, even if you may have to argue with the billing department from time to time. read more
