This is a great addition to Limestone. The pizzas, while not the best in the world, are very tasty with a good crust. I have tried four and I like the Old No 1 and Spaceman the best so far. Europe '72 was just okay and so was Big Bertha, but one of the toppings (I think the brisket) was super salty. An item that really surprised me was the woodfired tinned sardines. Honestly, I don't think I had ever had sardines. These were DELICIOUS. Especially when topped with the salt and lemon provided. I could have eaten the entire thing myself and was only a tiny bit bitter I had to share. Service is quick and friendly and they did a great job on lightening up the decor. So I came back and I asked if anything was out of stock (since three things were the first time I came and they were the very first 3 things I wanted...) and the server said no! Nothing was out of stock! Great!!! So we ordered the special...I will screen shot the Instagram advert for what we ordered and WHY we ordered it, cus it looked and sounded great! When it arrived, it did not have summer squash, just zucchini. Fail. Again. I'm so tired of every time I go to Pearls or County Club that crap is out of stock, and even more upset that when I ask, I'm lied to and they take my money and act like they did not lie to me about what they served me. Nice small restaurant with a nice menu for food & drinks. We shared the vegan caesar salad & special pizza of the day that had crawfish. Both were very good. We split a cocktail & then each had a glass of red wine for dinner. It was all great! Will definitely return. read more

Great food, great space & great service! The charred broccoli salad may be the best salad I've ever had- perfect amount of salt, pickled onions and sweet raisins. The wood-fired sardines were also excellent. The pizza has the perfect thin crust and had a delicious slightly smoky flavor from the wood oven. Our server made excellent recommendations and was very prompt even though his section was jam packed. I will be back- soon! read more

Everything is super flavorful! Not a terrible value for downtown specialty pizza either ($16/pizza). Loved the Big Bertha! The breadsticks and their ranch are also delicious. The scallops weren't super special, next time I'll stick with pizza. Overall tho, very good and will be back! read more

I was so excited to try this out for their morning bagel offerings. However I was very disappointed. I went to the restaurant and there was only one other small family there. I order just a simple bacon, egg, and cheese bagel to-go and for a bagel sandwich restaurant it took at least 45 minutes to get my order. The bagel was good but definitely not worth waiting 45 minutes for. I am wanting to try their pizza so I will be visiting again and hopefully I can revisit my review, but currently I would go in with being willing to wait. read more

Terrible experience, will not be back. Went for breakfast to try their bagel sandwiches. First, there is a required 20% gratitude on any order, even take out, regardless of the quality, or in this case lack thereof, of service. Second, there were three staff members standing around talking and seemed irritated when they had to do actual work. They weren't helpful and did a poor job answering simple questions. When we asked about coffee options, they literally told us to go around the corner to a different establishment because they didn't recommend their coffee. Third, the wait was over 15 mins for two bagel sandwiches and the restaurant was empty, I think they had one person come in for a pickup order while were there. Fourth, the bagel sandwiches were poor value, they cost around $11, they were not tasty, they were small, and had a tiny amount of egg on them. I like gourmet bagel sandwiches, but this place is not it, especially when there are so many better options. read more

I am absolutely in love with everything about Pearl's. It's fantastic and totally different than the norm. OMG, their Spaceman was absolutely delicious, such a great dish with great flavors. Great pizza joint! I went here for my birthday dinner on a coworkers recommendation and she was right to send me here. The pizza sizes are so big that I had leftovers for lunch and another dinner. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is really neat and very low-key. I highly recommend checking this place out with a group of friends or a date. read more

This has become my new Lexington go-to. The food is great, atmosphere is spot on and the service is quick! I've tried a few of the pizzas, all delicious, but Log Lady is my favorite. Pretty small place downtown across from the courthouse but we had a great experience here. We did two build your own pizzas and they were both fantastic. We sat outside since it was nice out. Chairs outside are kind of uncomfortable so I wouldn't recommend sitting out there if you're with elderly or limited people, but the inside seating is nice as well. Tried Pearl's for the first time last night and WHOA! First, the vegan caesar salad was ON POINT, I was tempted to order another, lol. I had the Benny and Barney (vegan version) and the cashew ricotta was delicious!! I even finished the crust on my pie, so good! The careful selection of cocktails, appetizers, and pizza toppings offers you a variety of ingredients not found in other restaurants. Everything is delicious, from the sorrel pesto to the sardines. The music playlist is perfection. One criticism is that the left side of the menu could use some work. The appetizers don't all pair well with pizza (shellfish and bread), which is fine, but they're also too expensive and limited for most people to successfully make a meal out of small plates. It would be nice to see a broader selection of á la carte vegetables. The salads should also have the option to come in entree sizes. Finally, they need to clean out their water thing because it tasted a little musty. I like this place and hope it does well. read more

The pizzas are fantastic. Especially like the chili sauce option in place of the tomato base in the pizza. Has a subtly hint of heat. The breadstick app is very good, however the marinara sauce is not very good. Reminds me of something that comes from a can. The liquor and beer selection is limited but you should be able to manage. After an earlier attempt to get bagels here only to find the staff had decided to close without notifying customers, this morning I put in an order online. I arrive at exactly the time my order was due, and the server (who eventually appeared) told me to grab a table and they'd bring it out. After 25 minutes of waiting in the near-empty store, I ask if my order is coming, to which the server responded "Oh yeah" and hands me my food which had been waiting behind the counter the entire time.
