Previous to that class he was in Ms. pahias class. Ms. Middlebrook called CPS without investigating what she thought was abuse. I believe Ms. Middlebrook targeted my family because we're black. Imagine a CPS worker telling you to send pictures of you refrigerator, your child's bed, and show that you have electricity on.. (embarrassing right).. then imagine hearing that the very person who raised you your whole life is abusing your child from a worker that doesn't know anything about your life and is only going off an allegation. For parents who find their child in her class please be aware that she will take your child's words out of context and overly ask them questions, almost badgering or chastising the child (i've witness myself). It is already hard enough that we have to allow these strangers into our home virtually-- Privy to our privacy. But narrating a story that is completely false is disgusting and poses a threat to my family. In conclusion, I would like for Ms. Middlebrook to be educated on how to decipher and address non-existing issues so that a family will never be humiliated like this again.

We love Kornerstone Academy!…read more We've had a wonderful experience at this center. From our first tour, the Director was warm, welcoming, and thorough in answering all our questions. Though our daughter (she started when she was 21 months) initially struggled to adjust, the teachers were incredibly patient and supportive during her transition. Since she started we have noticed an increase in her vocabulary, social skills and independence. She looks forward to going to school now. As a parent who naturally worries, I feel completely comfortable leaving her here because of the Director's transparency regarding classroom updates and incidents via messaging through an online platform. The teachers and director are prompt when responding to messages. I especially love the online platform updates. Getting real-time notifications for diaper changes and seeing photos of her daily activities provides such great peace of mind. Highly recommended!

I have seen them work harder on diversity efforts which has always been my main concern. I do think there's still room for improvement there however it's gotten much better over the last few years. Bullying has always been a factor for my children however being the parent that I am I always reach out and any issue seems to be immediately addressed. They ensure kids are continuing to get the Christ-Centered education which is my main objective for my remaining child.
