Although the tasting room is on the small side, its rustic unpretentious vibe has two levels and accommodated everyone that afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the grounds very pretty. The nice house and neatly groomed rows of vines attracted my partner and me to stop here today for a wine tasting. We shared a 4 wine flight along with a glass of their gewurztraminer, which is one of my favorite types. We thought that their flight of a chardonnay, rose, cabernet franc, and east end blend was a nice representation of their products. The staff member who assisted us was very knowledgeable of the wines and took pride in the products as he described the wines in our flight. He also was polite and professional. The gewurztraminer happened to be "buy 2 bottles, get 1 free", so we lucked out here today! We recommend this vineyard as a "must visit". read more

I do love coming here in the fall/winter, for the wooded tasting room...but the furniture could definitely use an upgrade. It doesn't go and it's completely odd and out of place. The bartender was very nice and helpful, offering tastings before we chose our wines. They had a flight that could be paired with a few chocolates - and I think it's a nice option to offer something like that as opposed to just a typical tasting. This was such an excellent experience. This was the last stop of our girls day, and the best service we received. We split two flights because a lot of their wines sounded interesting, and I liked most of them. The gentleman who served us let us try an additional one not on the tasting menu, and chatted with us while we made our suggestions. Since it was such a beautiful day out, we decided to sit on their back patio, and he helped us bring a table and chairs over too. What a beautiful vineyard! Loved the shade, which was much appreciated. We didn't get a chance to go inside BUT outdoors was welcome in the shade for the beautiful day. We came for a tasting and tried four bottles of wine? Our server was very nice, attentive, and made sure the wines we would taste matched the groups likings in a wine. At the time a wedding was being prepared for, we did not stay long but was happy to stop. This place does not have food. They really only have chocolate bars infused with a wine and kettle chips. One of if not the best East end Vinyards for true wine drinkers. Have been coming here for years and enjoy this place so much we joined their wine club. They have a great selection of wines at a good price. Some of our favorites are the VP cab, rose, steakhouse red, and Regalo. But our all time favorite wine is their BBQ red. Perfect chilled red that complements any summer BBQ meal. The grounds are very beautiful and Quant. Perfect to hang at or host a party/wedding. The staff is super nice and helpful anytime you are their. Shoutout to Zander who gave us an awesome tour of the distillation and bottling area, as well as some cool sampling. As mentioned earlier we are in their wine club which has some great perks and allows you to have their wine shipped to your house year round. If you are a wino I definitely recommend looking into this. Overall a must go to if your out east exploring wine country. read more

We love this vinegar! First of all, it is a beautiful place with a lot of tables to sit. They have tables with a beautiful view to enjoy the vine and fantastic day. Secondly, you can bring your snacks, which is fantastic. I stopped going to many places just because they force you to buy their overpriced food that often does not worth it and does not taste good. Thirdly, the vine is excellent. Last time I came, they impressed me with the chardonnay and chilled red one. So, I think everyone will find something they like. Beautiful venue, amazing staff, the best wine on Long Island. My husband and I got married at Pellegrini this August and I cannot say enough about the beauty of the vineyard or how amazing the staff is. We signed a wedding contract (without even trying the wine) within an hour of visiting the venue. The vineyard is stunning and the staff makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The GM, John Larsen is fantastic; he made our wedding so special and he was supportive every step of the planning process. And then we tried the wine.... needless to say we will be wine club members for life (there is always a cold Pellegrini vintners pride chardonnay in our fridge- highly recommend). If my husband and I had the opportunity to re-do our wedding, we would without a doubt choose Pellegrini Vineyard's again as our venue. When touring venues, we knew that we wanted a unique space that wouldn't treat us as just another number (like at your standard banquet hall). During our tour at Pellegrini, my husband and I KNEW that this was where we wanted to say "I do". What really sold us on Pellegrini was the "inclement weather" option for a ceremony... their wine cellar! I mean, how many people can say that they got married in a wine cellar?? Since booking, John had always been available for any questions/concerns that we had in the planning process, and always gave us his opinion and recommendation based off of his experience in the business! We had our wedding on September 23, 2023, and despite the weather from tropical storm Ophelia... the entire day could not have been more perfect! Due to the weather, we had our ceremony in the wine cellar and it was absolute magic. We had been wondering what we would do with the cellar had we not had the ceremony down there, and it seems as thought it was fate to have our ceremony down there! We had a string duo (violinist and cellist) play before the ceremony and for the processional, which made the ceremony so cozy and intimate (despite having 130 of us down there... there was plenty of room for all!) The remainder of the night, John and his staff were attentive on ours and our guests needs, and helped make the whole night move seamlessly! We can't wait to continue to visit Pellegrini, it'll always have a special place in our hearts now. I would 1000% recommend Pellegrini Vineyards to any future couples for their wedding! read more

Who needs Napa when you've got wineries like Pellegrini Vineyards in Long Island? I'll admit that I was a bit skeptical when my friend suggested we go wine tasting in Long Island, but was pleasantly surprised by the experience... We called ahead for a reservation for our party of 10 and was taken very good care of by our wine man, John. We all chose the $8 flight and I was so impressed by the various different wines we were able to try for just $8..never gotten a deal like that in Cali! I lost track of the # of wines we tried and the names of them (the sign of a good time) , but being the white wine lover than I am I really enjoyed all of the whites. The merlot and a few other reds didn't really do it for me, but my husband and friend were happy to take care of them for me. Perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere (we found it worked well for a photo shoot), tasty wine, and get your buzz on. Like I said...who needs Napa? read more

Friday afternoon, about 1:30pm. Came here as a second stop on a bike and wine tour with East End Bike Tours. The property was beautiful and there were a decent amount of groups there already to have an early wine tasting/ Brunch or to celebrate an event. It was quiet given the crowd and with no music playing. (We were told there was no music to less encourage large groups given the need to social distance.) I enjoyed the view of the vineyard and the 4 wines selected for us were crisp and delish. I really wish I could share the names of the wines but our host/ waitress was 'uninvolved' to say the least. For starters she was dressed like she was making a pit stop on her way to run errands. She never called for our attention to explain which wine she was serving and if we didn't ask her I don't think we would've known. As soon as she saw our glasses getting empty she just start coming around pouring- no words spoken to know if she was refilling with the same wine or presenting a new one. She didn't even ask if we needed or would like anything else during our time. The vineyard allows you to walk through the aisles of grapes (which I did snag some to try) and with our bikes we were able to do a lap or 2 around and through the vineyard where there's a nice gazebo to stop and take pictures. Not sure if I'd re visit considering the first vineyard stop we made the waiters were knowledgeable and attentive and had menus available for us to try anything outside of what was included in our tour. read more

Pelligrini is a little larger and a little more...involved than other wineries I have been to on the longest of the islands, but in no way would I consider it a "frat-house" winery (a term I first heard from (therefore consider coined and trademarked by) my fellow LI wine tasting buddy.) Sure, there can be busses. There can be large groups of older folks on a nice leisurely wine stroll. There can simply be a lot of individuals at one time. Thankfully, there is usually room for everyone. As much as you may (or may not?) want to avoid a crowd, Pelligrini is a great place to make (or not make) an exception. The tasting bar is long enough to hold a decent crowd, and supplemental seating exists in the form of nearby indoor tables, outdoor tables, and a quiet (er) loft area above the main tasting area that you can retreat to with your wine of choice. While I've tasted a lot of their wines - I choose to write about (rave about) only one - their Vinters Pride Bin Finale 3131 Dessert Wine. It is sweet, smooth, and terribly amazingly deliciously alcohol filled (as most dessert bottles are.) I suggest you do a tasting with wines of your choice (including bin finale), realize how much you like it, and get bottles, not glasses. With some quick calculations you need not worry about, you will find it is much more economical to get a bottle to bring home, or get a bottle to bring home and another bottle to split with others (or not) while you are there - and another bottle on top of that because then you can say you got a "trio" of Bin Finale, which sounds much better than "I got two." Good for: Drinking at the vineyard, drinking at the home, before food, after food, near food, in the evening, by a fire, in the pool, near the pool, in the snow, in the leaves, near some leaves, in the city, in any city, near a city, on a boat, or anywhere in between. Just make sure it is cold - ice cold. Enjoy it and then tell me how right I was. read more

We stopped here because we were driving by and it's absolutely beautiful! It's a big building with a large open court square in the middle with tables. The short: this is an awesome choice for a vineyard on the north fork, and I'll definitely be back, but I think I ordered wrong. The long: my friend is obsessed with all things pumpkin, so when she saw the harvest flight ($20), she and my other friends were all in. It comes with two types of fudge from North Fork Chocolate Co., oyster crackers and three wine tastings. The two reds on the tasting menu were incredible. They let you try their good, reserve red wine-- 2007 Vitner's Pride Reserve. It was very, very good. But, the dessert wine was not at all for me. Way too sweet. The wine was paired with two types of fudge. The chocolate fudge was a delicious treat, but I didn't care for the pumpkin one. The harvest tasting was a really fun, unique experience and I'm glad we did it, but next time I'd opt to try more of their yummy wines. read more

A group of 7 of us were here for a tasting last weekend, celebrating a friends birthday, and this was our favorite winery that we visited. Although the end of March may not be the most beautiful time of year to visit, the service we received was so outstanding and the wines were delicious. Katherine was fabulous and really took the time to get to know us. She taught us about the wines, answered all of our questions, and was so friendly. We didn't take advantage but loved that we had the option to bring our own food if we wanted. The pricing for the tasting was also very reasonable and we ended up getting some extra of the wines we really enjoyed . We thought the ambience was really cute and cozy. I'm sure the views would be amazing when the grapes are on the vines. Hopefully we will be back sometime in the summer!! read more

Always a great place to visit but especially now as John and his team have adapted the business to afford people space for social distancing. They are now offering table service so you can enjoy your glasses or bottles with your party without having to go into the tasting room. The views at Pellegrini are unparalleled; at no other vineyard will you see rolling hills like you will here. It looks like the vineyard goes on for forever. You can also enjoy your wine picnic-style under the big tree or the gazebo. Pellegrini offers a variety of wines to please all taste buds and the laid-back atmosphere makes this a must-stop. Came here yesterday for my husband's 30th birthday and we had a blast! The staff at Pellegrini were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I had called several vineyards on the North Fork and they were by far the friendliest. My party did the wine tasting (4 wines for $16) and John C, our wine guide, was wonderful. He was informative, friendly, and regularly checked in on us. Highly recommend the Rejoyce (white wine) and BBQ Red! My friends and i came here a few weeks ago wecame on a drizzly sunday. Since there was about 9 of us we did thr pay $12 for tastings and also got a private tour! Really womderful if you ask me! Our guide was the lovely Katie. This young and super knowledgeable wine connoisseur! She showed us the private kitchen and where they hold weddings and the bridal suites on the second floor. It has a great view overlooking the vineyards that go on for about 95 acres simply breath-taking even on a dreary day! She had a few tables set up for us so we could set our coolers filled with grapes, cheese, crackers, wraps and serving ware. We come prepared!!! Pellegrini vineyards also have other acres not far from here about 50+ more! We also got to see where they barrel the wine the huge wooden barrels hold up to 125 bottles of wine! They also have what is i think she said the first wine distilling. These huge metal cylinders. Similar to what breweries use but for wine! As we would walk from one end to another not really that long she would stop by the wine bar area and pick up another bottle and bring it with her as we were drinking and she was giving us the history. Our last area we viewed was this ENOURMOUS organ that is worth in the millions. Mr pellegrini who past away this year was the only person who knew how to play it. It is currently stored in one of the warehouses. It us fir sale. I forget where it was made but it has beautiful detail on it! The wine that we sampled were good. I cant recall the names but i dic post a photo. I ended up buying 4 bottles to take home to enjoy! Would def return loved it. Went out a large party wine tour and came here during one of our stops. Upon showing up, we were surprised at the format of the tasting (one glass at a time, ~10 mins apart) and that you only got one glass for the entire tasting. There were multiple people in our party who didn't finish their glass and when the time came for the next tasting, the employee was rude about providing fresh glasses so we could enjoy the next tasting. Our party isn't snobby and understand that places are more constrained now because of COVID, but if we're paying for a wine tasting and need fresh glasses if we didn't finish our glass, there shouldn't be an argument about it. The experience soured our time there and we left shortly after that. We will not be returning but hope this gets corrected in the future. read more

We are professionals, first responders , law enforcement, teachers , accountants , business owners trying to unwind in this crazy COVID world only to be met with unprofessionalism , lack of empathy , racism and lack of respect . In a world where our new norm is spending to assist businesses get on their feet with our patronage, it saddens me that We could have given our business to someone that would have appreciated it . Very beautiful atmosphere. We had a party of 12 of us and we got a private room upstairs overlooking the vineyard itself. We purchased a wine tasting of four seperate tastings and we didn't really feel like we were given enough for the amount we paid for the tasting. They gave us literally 4 baby sips of wine. Meanwhile, the sign downstairs says bottles of wine are only 2/$30. We also were not explained anything in our tasting, which is honestly what you pay for in a "wine tasting." It seemed odd, so we mentioned it to the owner and he gave us one bottle of wine on top of it all on the house. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. Such a wonderful Vineyard to visit! I worked with John & his staff in advance to accommodate the large group that I was organizing for a Wine Tour of Long Island. Upon arrival, you will find an absolutely breathtaking view of the rolling vineyards behind the gorgeous tasting house. There is plenty of space to accommodate many visitors at once on a gorgeous day. Several smaller groups were enjoying the patio in the rear of the building which allowed privacy for my group in the courtyard. The interior was also spacious and the Vintner's room is a great choice for large groups when the weather is not the best. John was fantastic to work with in advance and his staff was well prepared and organized on the day-of. We had a lovely group set-up in the large center courtyard of the complex where our catered lunch was delivered and set up for us upon arrival. The flight included 5 (2 - 3oz) pours for $10 and additional pours, glasses and bottles were available for purchase to enjoy with our lunch. The place was nice but the wine was on a drier side. They also didn't sell any snacks which is crustal. I know they told us that they don't have a food license, but at least maybe something packaged like pretzels or chips would be nice or if it would say somewhere on the website that they don't have any food I would bring some. We particularly like the Oak Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Great for events. We loved it so much we decided to get married there! We must have gone on an off-day (Sunday, May 23), because our experience there doesn't square with a lot of the reviews here. We had just come from another wine-tasting at another vineyard, which was lovely. Then we came here. We were seated outside. We were given one glass each, and that was it. When the waitperson came around for the pouring of the second wine, someone in our party asked what to do with the wine that was left in his glass from the first pouring. He was told to dump it in the grass. In other words, no individual glasses for each pouring. We weren't given anything else: no cheese boards, no water, not even napkins! We were given no descriptive literature of the wines, either. The server gave us a very rushed 10-second description for each wine. She seemed very uneager to be there, to put it mildly. The wines were enh. I asked her for water (it was a hot day) and she said I could purchase bottled water inside if I wanted to. I didn't want to. Nor would I ever want to come back. read more
