The door to the relax pedi area.

I read quite a lot of bad and good review about this place. I stepped in the place on a sat afternoon with my husband as it is near my place. The place look old. However they provided the best massage pedi service that I know. We had pedi in the big room with big sofa. After having my pedi done, the nail tẹc gave me massage on my neck, shoulder and head. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do enjoy the massage, the relax music and the fragance in the room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My husband had a very good nap during the massage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a bargain with pedi and massage at 75 (tax included).

Polish doesn't teach to edges, nails are filed crooked and my cuticles are torn from the dremel tool.

Update: went this afternoon Saturday, September 16 and had to wait 25 minutes for my 3pm appointment. Nail tech was very aggressive with a Dremel tool, which I have never had anyone use on my natural toenails before. Up sold me on "extra 10 minutes massage" which I had request lighter pressure because the man started digging into my shoulders so hard. He also put a clip in my hair that was not mine. When they took the towel I had been draped with off, they crammed it back in a cabinet (not the laundry). When I got outside to see my nail techs handy work, I was really disappointed. $100 is too much to pay for a pedicure that looks like a 5 year old did it. When I asked to see my nail techs license they all looked around confused. Do not go here.

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been too. I came in because they had really good reviews but left extremely dissatisfied. I walked in and saw 3 people just sitting there staring at me. The place is filled with clutter, they had no music but we're playing some show where they were gutting animals on the whole time. I told them I just called and needed a new set with dip powder and pedicure. The pedicure was fine but when the next lady came to do my hands, it took her 3 hours for this. She layered acrylic and dip powder on to my old set, every nail is a different shape and length, she didn't clean or smooth out any bumps she made. When she was using the dip, she kept flicking me really hard and just handling my hands really aggressively the entire time. I was so uncomfortable the entire time, do not come here. These good reviews are not true at all. I've included a photo of what I asked for and what i left with.

I love getting my nails done here. I get the Relax pedicure. You are in a special quite room with nice lighting, spa music and nice chairs and a soft towel/blanket. It's about an hour long and you get a wonderful neck and shoulder massage along with hot wax on your feet. It's my favorite thing to do each month.

Covid compliant. Mum and I went, this is our regular spa spot. Do not know what we would do without Andy.

He took relaxation to the next level.

I was gifted a certificate here and decided to take take the mister here for his Father's Day treat and treat myself too...LOL!!! Why not? Let me just say....don't judge this book by its cover. From the outside it looks run down. Inside is different. To the right is your regular nail salon areas with areas for pedis and nails. To the left is a semi private area. Let me tell you...take advantage of the relaxation pedicure and you'll be in that semi private area. For a deluxe pedicure that includes paraffin wax, cuticle & callous removal and your normal foot massage. Now if you want that, it's $30 in the regular area. But for $50 you'll be in the semi private area and you enjoy a little longer of a foot massage and a neck, shoulder & head massage. We felt totally relaxed and wanted to sleep after! Lol! The employees were super friendly and worked efficiently. The massages were nice and deep just how I like it. I'll definitely go back!

    Loving my pedicure!

I thought I wrote a review of this place when I came here a couple years ago, but I guess not. On a recent visit to Maui, I again came here for a mani-pedi, as it's pretty reasonable given the island prices. I'm used to San Francisco where you can get a mani-pedi for about $20, so paying at least $50 in Maui is a bit of a shock. But this place was just as I remembered it, which was a good thing, cause I liked in back in 2007 too. They have probably the most comfortable chairs I've ever seen in a salon. They seriously look like they should be in someone's living room. They bring a vibrating foot massager bath to soak your feet in. No massage chairs here, but I don't like those anyway! The little foot rests are great too, makes it feel like I'm lying on a couch or something instead of being in a salon. The room smells of lemongrass, and the brown/beige color scheme is very calming. My sister and I almost fell asleep after sitting there listening to the music waiting for our nails to dry. They advertise as being specialists in reflexology, and while I can't say if they are or not as I know nothing about it, I do know that I had one of the best foot/leg massages of my life. The hand/arm/shoulder massage was nothing fantastic, but it still felt pretty good. They have lots of colors to choose from, both OPI and Chinese Glaze brands. Definitely my go-to spot for when I need to get my nails done on the island!

    The relaxation massage.

If you have artificial nails and want elaborate nail art, then this might be a great salon for you…read more My experience getting a Signature Manicure for my natural nails was more mixed. I found the website for Nailpedia to be clear and user friendly. Through the website, I booked an appointment for a Signature Manicure with Summer, the business's owner. It turned out that having the appointment for a specific time and with a specific tech meant nothing. I had to wait around 15 minutes, same as the walk ins who came while I was there, and the first tech available did my nails. Having made my appointment for the Signature Manicure also seemed irrelevant. The woman doing my nails asked if I wanted a basic manicure. When I clarified I wanted the Signature, she did not proceed based on the business's description of that service. She seemed to try to clarify what I meant, asking if I wanted the scrub or wax? Parafin is not described as part of the Signature Manicure. It is a separate charge. Now I was confused! We managed to get on the same page. The woman doing my nails handed me two batches of samples for colors. When I was looking at them, she took one batch away. I asked if they were the same? I didn't quite catch her answer. I started to say I wanted something sheer. She quickly took the samples away from me and said, "We have sheer." My nails were cut and shaped and the tech did ask if they were how I wanted them. I was a little concerned because I did not see the tools used on my nails come out of a sealed packet or out of a sanitizer. I am going to trust that they were properly cleaned. A product in a squeeze bottle was also used in the process, but was unlabeled. I am used to a salon where sanitization procedures are unmistakeable and all products are clearly labeled. After shaping my nails, the tech did the scrub, which started out with an exfoliating texture, but when a lot of water was added it quickly became more of a lather. It felt like I was getting my hands and arms washed more than exfoliated. Fast forwarding to the color, the tech put it on without checking if it was what I had in mind. It wasn't. I wanted a light, sheer pink. What I got was more the color of my skin. The tech did a good job on my nails, but the overall experience was not what I was expecting. The website and scheduling system made it seem like I could begin to establish a relationship with a particular tech who would get to know me and my nails. The reality was that it felt like any other nail salon where you walk in without an appointment and get a quick manicure or pedicure. Again, it might be a different experience if you are getting a more specialized service.

Came here before my wedding. I asked for acrylic, soft almond, French manicure with chrome powder…read more The nail tech, Jenny, refused to do acrylic and instead opted for gel x despite my insistence I did not want gel x. She told me it would be safer for the baby (I'm pregnant) and made me feel terrible for wanting what I asked for. After googling I learned that gel x is not safer for the baby, both are considered safe in pregnancy. After shaping the nails I noticed they were more stiletto shaped than soft almond or even a regular almost. I brought this up to her and she used only a buffer to "fix" it which did nothing to change the shape. I told her I was still not happy with the shape. She did not fix it. She proceeded to use a transparent base coat you could see my nail bed through. When I asked for a more opaque one she told me no and assured me the chrome powder would hide my nails underneath--spoiler, it did not and the white tips were way too low to cover it as well. Mind you this was a standard French not a skinny French. She applied the white tips directly on top of the transparent base layer and managed to knock something into it. She blamed me for this and then "repaired" it by simply adding more white gel polish on top of the damaged cured layer leaving it incredibly lumpy. The nails themselves have crazy lift, no apex, just flat and sticking upward at a 20 degree angle like a plane taking off the runway. I paid for the most expensive gel mani pedi service they offer on top of the full acrylic set. Nothing stated to come with this service was included other than the gel polish. My calluses were not removed, cuticles were not trimmed, no hand massage or exfoliation or any kind. I didn't even get the acrylics I paid for and was forced to get gel x while staring at a full wall of acrylic powder so it's not a matter of them just not offering it. By the end I was practically in tears. I tried to intervene to fix all of these very clear issues at every step and was completely ignored each time. This took Jenny over 3 hours to do so this wasn't like she was rushing, she just simply didn't care. My nails look a mess and I can no longer have close up shots of our hands and rings for my wedding two days from now despite telling her multiple times throughout those three hours how important that was for me. When I showed the girl at the front desk she looked just as disappointed in the quality as I was but didn't act surprised at all. She did refund me right away which was nice and offered to redo them for me but I was not able to do so because I had so many other appointments booked before the wedding that I needed to get to. I will end up walking down the aisle with nails that look like they were done by a fourth grader.
