Great place. In the plaza near the back pillar. Sooo many options, and they're great. Super friendly, don't talk shit about you, know what Im talking about. Other places where they do something then you ask something different and they monologue in Vietnamese lmao. My service was a Gel X fill manicure and gel pedicure. I had gone into the salon earlier in the week when shopping at the shopping center it is located in. The salon and staff "V" (I apologize I didn't get the spelling of her name) were highly recommended. On the day of my appointment, V completed my services and did an excellent job. She took her time, was very methodical and meticulous with cleaning up my nails and putting the gel paint on. She was very professional and detail oriented. She was also very friendly and experienced. She said that the salon had changed ownership about two years ago (Terri is the new owner). The salon has been beautifully updated. I just got home after a fabulous Deluxe Pedicure from Natalie She was meticulous, gentle yet forceful with my calluses from my tennis shoes, fixed a broken, unhealthy nail and her massage with the hot stones was very therapeutic. These are my toes after two weeks. I have been barefoot or in slippahs the whole time. I've run almost 5 miles on a rocky muddy trail (twice) and run about 12 miles in the sand in those two weeks. My nails have held up so well. Teri and her crew do amazing work. I highly recommend this place. Seriously, get your nails done here, but don't get upset if I cut the line to get mine done. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I came from Washington state needed a manicure and my cuticles needed help.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Didn't have my cheaters with me when they finished, and when I got back to the condo, I saw that they had scratched my nail with a metal instrument near my cuticles that made marks on my nails. They should use a wooden push back in instrument. Not happy at all will never go back. read more

I wish I had gotten the names of the lovely women who gave my daughter a manicure and me a pedicure - ugh! I'm irritated with myself because I love shouting out the folks who go out of their way to give great customer service. Alas, my error. This nail salon is in an unassuming strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. Thankfully, Yelp told us this was THE place get a mani and pedi so we stepped in. And it is absolutely lovely in the inside! In addition to being tastefully decorated, it's clean, cool, and comfortable. The ladies were so kind to let my daughter sit next to me even though she was getting a mani so that she could also enjoy the chair massage and chat with me. My classic pedicure was perfect - relaxing and pretty. They warned my daughter that her manicure may not last very long (she opted to not get gel) and guess what? A week later it still hasn't chipped! We wouldn't have faulted them if it had but that's super impressive that it hasn't. Highly recommend. read more

We were in Hawaii for my mom's birthday so I decided to treat her to a little mother/daughter mini spa day. We made reservations ahead of time and I'm glad we did because there were many people who wanted to do walk in appointments and weren't able to get in. The main reason why I chose this place was because they had really cute nail art on the pictures on their website. I ended up being fairly disappointed in the whole experience. We both had pedicures and gel manicures booked and were there to relax. It was very apparent they wanted to rush through so they could grab lunch. While we were getting our pedicures we had other techs who sporadically jumped in to do parts of our manicures during the pedicure. We had to remind them multiple times that we also wanted the nail art added. My nail art on my pedicure could barely be seen because she used a more pearlized polish instead of white. My mom's pedicure nail art was done last minute after her manicure only because I reminded the tech again that we wanted it. My mom ended up with two different color polish from her pedicure and manicure even though they were supposed to match. I didn't realize this until it was too late (she would never say anything about it). What should have been a fun and relaxing time wasn't. On top of it about an hour after we left I received a call that they undercharged is and that they needed to charge us extra. Not a great experience. I wouldn't recommend. They were highly disorganized and didn't do a great job. read more

We went here over our vacation and were met with such warmth from the Owner and Natalie! They were both very kind and gave great conversation and laughs. My family and I went in to see if they had any openings for pedicure, and got all of us in. We decided last min we would also like to get manicures, luckily they had availability. The whole experience from conversation to cleanliness was amazing. We even got to get our father in for a nice foot message/pedicure (his first time) he absolutely loved it and wants to go again. I asked for acrylic, soft almond, French manicure with chrome powder…read more The nail tech, Jenny, refused to do acrylic and instead opted for gel x despite my insistence I did not want gel x. She told me it would be safer for the baby (I'm pregnant) and made me feel terrible for wanting what I asked for. After googling I learned that gel x is not safer for the baby, both are considered safe in pregnancy. After shaping the nails I noticed they were more stiletto shaped than soft almond or even a regular almost. I brought this up to her and she used only a buffer to "fix" it which did nothing to change the shape. I told her I was still not happy with the shape. She did not fix it. She proceeded to use a transparent base coat you could see my nail bed through. When I asked for a more opaque one she told me no and assured me the chrome powder would hide my nails underneath--spoiler, it did not and the white tips were way too low to cover it as well. Mind you this was a standard French not a skinny French. She applied the white tips directly on top of the transparent base layer and managed to knock something into it. She blamed me for this and then "repaired" it by simply adding more white gel polish on top of the damaged cured layer leaving it incredibly lumpy. The nails themselves have crazy lift, no apex, just flat and sticking upward at a 20 degree angle like a plane taking off the runway. I paid for the most expensive gel mani pedi service they offer on top of the full acrylic set. Nothing stated to come with this service was included other than the gel polish. My calluses were not removed, cuticles were not trimmed, no hand massage or exfoliation or any kind. I didn't even get the acrylics I paid for and was forced to get gel x while staring at a full wall of acrylic powder so it's not a matter of them just not offering it. By the end I was practically in tears. I tried to intervene to fix all of these very clear issues at every step and was completely ignored each time. This took Jenny over 3 hours to do so this wasn't like she was rushing, she just simply didn't care. She did refund me right away which was nice and offered to redo them for me but I was not able to do so because I had so many other appointments booked before the wedding that I needed to get to. However, almost five years later, it's darker, has smudged, migrated and is thicker on one eye. On May 3rd 2020, I contacted Emmi to express my concerns. She never responded. I have been using soft pink and flesh colored eyeliner makeup to cover it. After many consultations and research, I decided on laser removal. This was an incredibly painful procedure and left me swollen with black eyes and my eyelashes turned white and fell out. I'll know more in a few weeks whether I need another round of laser or if I can live with the residual. Two MD's who specialize in in cosmetic and laser procedures informed me most likely ink was used instead of pigment, which fades. Emmi is a very nice person with a gorgeous salon. I originally (2016) posted a rave review on Yelp because I loved my new eyeliner. I've since removed that review after realizing that after 4+ years, my eyeliner is not fading and isn't going to. I never would have done this if I knew it was literally "permanent" and does NOT fade.

We have been to Maui twice and have stayed at Kiehi Ali'i Kai both times. Each visit this is our salon of choice. Usually I get my nails done only once while we are in Maui but this last time I got my nails done when I arrived and the day before we left...why? Because Twee (nail technician) was that good. The shellac (gel) nail manicure and pedicure I got was fantastic. I got compliments on my hand for two weeks! As for the toes...I loved the colour but Island Girl (I think that's what it is called) nail polish is not as good as OPI or China Glaze so my toe polish was chipping after two weeks which is not normal for toe nail polish for me....so be sure not to choose a colour from that line. I went paddle boarding the morning before our last day and broke my toe nail. I have had a fake toe nail on my big toe for about two years. My nail doesn't grow due to nail damage. Twee fixed the nail on my toe and did such a good job I am not even sure which nail is fake! No joke!!!! In the past, the nail tech just slapped on a fake nail and built the nail up ... it looked ok but you could tell there was something strange going on with that nail...Twee filed the remaining toe nail down and then created a new nail from scratch. Unbelievable...not even sure this nail job can be replicated back home. My hands were another story..I wanted gel nails plus an aloha accent nail on each ring finger. I needed a memory of Maui as I knew back home (Toronto) had just suffered a major ice storm and it was going to be really cold!!! Twee did such a great job on my nails...I immediately took pics and updated on Facebook and Instagram they are epic! Such a good job. Twee who came in on Christmas to do my nails is super talented and very funny. Great attention to detail. I was so proud of my nails I showed all the clients at the salon and everyone was impressed. A couple of years ago when there with my daughter Lisa, she talked me into going for a pedicure across the street to La Fleur Plumeria. It changed my life.After a pedicure, a manicure, and a massage by Vicky. I must second the two most recent reviews! Everything from top of the line equipment, to the peaceful music, to the friendly and qualified staff makes this a lovely experience. It is obvious from the moment you walk in and speak with Steve that your relaxation and satisfaction are their top priority. The staff goes out of their way to take care of you. The price is higher than some places on the mainland - but this is Maui, hello. Quality work, a lovely atmosphere, and the ability to relax and enter into the experience of being pampered are well worth paying for. What a treat! I went with my daughter for a "Signature Pedicure" as a birthday gift to myself and WOW. This was my first time to La Fleur and will most definately not be my last. The staff was professional, caring and explained everything they were doing. I was offered something to drink, asked if I was comfortable, I felt so pampered. The salon was very clean and tidy. All the "tools" that were used on my toes were sterilized (I watched Juvie remove them from the plastic sterilization bag myself). There was calming music...I could go on and on, but words do not do the experience justice! Go visit Steve and his staff, you will be so glad you did!!! read more

I highly recommend this place for a massage. I have had 2 and planning on 3 more before I leave. They are very much relaxing. I even took a walk on the wild side and had a Pedi. First one ever. I am amazed how good it felt and still feels. Kim has some very special talents. She works hard to please her customers. On the first massage she was always checking to see if the pressure was to my liking. When I come back here you can bet I will be looking her up. She is very reasonable in her pricing. My step mom, sister, and I were Yelp-ing for a place to get our nails done and we came across La Fleur Plumeria Nail Salon. We decided to go in and try it because the other Nail Salons were a bit more pricey. We were so happy with our decision! I have lived on Maui for 25 years. Every few weeks I get a mani/pedi from Kym. She is very professional and speaks english decently, which allows us to have a pleasant conversation, while she is cutting my nails. The salon looks very nice as they just remodeled it. If you are visiting, step in from the beach across the street and enjoy some cool air conditioning. Their staff is all very nice and treat me like a king. read more
