Wow! I am in shock that I never noticed the reviews here. It goes back even 6 years and I believe there may not be any improvement as I have come here with also some debilitating information. I wholesomely prepared for today so well! Picked up my 7 year old from school and with my toddler, headed straight to the general area of where this business is located to kill time. As per the review on here prior to mine, the same front desk "supervisor" attended me without any sympathy whatsoever. I came in 40 minutes early. Understanding that other patients were arriving and that there were a lot of appointments to attend to, I was told to come back 10 minutes prior to my set appointment time. Understandable of course. But then "Shaniqua"? From what the last review stated her name was, double checked the info she had and asked me if I had my referral. I told her that my sons pediatrician dealt with that a week and a half ago. I was told by the pediatrician that I didn't need to pick up anything and apparently it was taken care of electronically?? All I know is that the pediatricians front desk girl told me I was all set with the referral and that I didn't need to pick up anything. I was golden apparently. Come today and apparently they had nothing in the system or whatever. It seems that this is a continuous problem in their office, aside from the attitude and indifference of the front desk personnel. To top with the cherry, my son was acting severely like a toddler and I had just about enough of his energy today. Tears ran down my face and the OTHER front desk person didn't even make eye contact with me. At least "Shaniqua" did despite the coldness in her eyes. I feel that this being a pediatric office, there would be some form of sympathy, empathy, care, kindness, SOMETHING. I think truly that is what affected me the most. Maybe they don't have kids of their own and do not understand the difficulty that comes with that? Maybe they DO have kids and simply cannot stand more showing up? I don't know. It just does not seem real that these 2 front desk women have absolutely no compassion over us struggling with our kids and with any setbacks that may happen. Prior to this review, I was thinking that maybe they were just tired from a frustrating day or something. Can't be true if all of these other negative reviews exist. How appalling. I'm also highly disappointed in my pediatrician and her front desk assistant who guaranteed I was good to go with the referral. I don't live too close to this place so it was sad to have to leave and not have my son be seen for the 2nd time since 2020. To add, I was so calm and polite and dare I say kind about it all, despite the vibe and energy I received in return. It just seems like the staff remains uncaring despite these reviews. While I hope the Drs are fine ... the Front Desk staff are absolutely unbearable, in particular one by the name of Sheniqua (sp). Uncouth, dismissive and smug describes her at best. My son had an appointment booked weeks in advance the day before they called in the afternoon to say he needed a referral letter... strange we were not told this earlier but we understood and went to work to ensure it was done. Unfortunately, by the time we got onto our pediatrician the were closed. We were left with no choice but to try and resolve the morning of. On that day I called the pediatrician to have them get the referral letter I did not know Peds Euros fax number so I gave their office number. My wife arrives with our son who is in the car with his baby nurse. She comes to the office, only to be told in a very short manner that the letter did not arrive and that they could not see him for this scheduled appointment without it. My wife explained that we only found out late yesterday and that our Pediatrician was notified this morning and was sending over. Instead of Sheniqua working towards a solution and being helpful she said that all the other patients were on time and that we would need to wait for hours!! My son ( who is on oxygen) could not sit in the car and wait hour so my wife left. Her interaction with my wife was abrasive and dismissive. Soon after the Ped Office confirmed that they sent the referral letter. My wife had already headed back home with our son. Ms Sheniqua claims that she was just following policy. To which I told her that I understood and respected policies and procedures ... what I did not understand was her lack of professionalism, customer service and overall helpfulness. There was zero Intitative taken to work towards my son seeing the doctor instead we were just told that the wait could be hours as it was a full day of patients. When asked to speak to a Supervisor she stated she was one of them to which I replied that was "unfortunate". Clearly perpetuating the culture of poor service reflected in other reviews. It's 2020 and there is just no excuse for poor service and people who are mediocre at their jobs. read more

My toddler was seen and evaluated in the ED this morning. They told me he needed to see the pediatric urologist the same day. I drove 1.5 hours to Pediatric Urology Associates even though I knew they did not take my insurance because I wanted my child to see a specialist. I was put in a room and was seen only by a nurse practitioner. She did not even discuss my son's case with the urologist. I wasted time and my limited money to see an NP when I could have just seen my regular pediatrician if I was not going to see the urologist. This is a bait and switch. They should inform you ahead of time that you are not going to see a urologist. This is really unethical and taking advantage of people when their child is ill. read more

This place is understaffed and overbooked. They hired me too work front desk in Englewood nj. They said they would train me. They gave me 3 weeks and them let me go. The doctor scheduled 37 patients in in one day. No rhyme or reason to the practice. Patients waiting an hour for their appointments. As said, they said they would train me on their data entry system and subsequently let me go after 3 weeks. Horrible place. read more

Not a good experience should have known when I scheduled the appointment that this was not going to be a good experience! Thankfully we've found Pediatric Urology Associates in Manhattan..well worth the trip! read more

I am writing this review to help others out because I question the competence of one of the doctors at this office, Dr. Dyer. Please get a second opinion if you see this doctor. She said my 2 month old son needed surgery because he had a hydrocele (fluid in sac by the testicular region). Her explanation was very confusing & lengthy and she said it wouldn't go away on its own but was adamant about operating within 2 weeks. Well, I got a second opinion & the second dr did a sonogram (which Dr Dyer didn't do) and he said it looks like a closed hydrocele & should go away on its own. Soon enough the bulge disappeared 2 weeks later! Very upset with dr Dyer because she was about to give my baby unnecessary surgery. Please, please get a second opinion. This place is NEVER on time. Especially around their lunch hour (maybe hours?). It's super inconsiderate, especially if you have a young child!! I had a 12:15 appt and we rush there only to be told by receptionist Drs are on lunch until 1pm. Incredible. And not the only time I've waited 30-60 minutes. Why not just be honest when making appointments? They'll demand your copay literally 2ft in the door- that much you can count on to run on time. read more

My 7 year old had visible signs of a ingual hernia. Dr. Dyer recongnized the issue right away and scheduled us quickly for the repair procedure. She shared speculation on possible scenarios depending on what she found during the procedure but explained she will know for sure once seeing the hernia and extent of repair needed. Turned out there was fluid and it was an incarcerated hernia which was not great but caught early on so we averted potential complications had it gone on longer. She was always kind and friendly with my child and made him feel comfortable. Couldn't have gone any smoother. Everyone in the office was so attentive and kind and went out of their way to calm my child and make him feel comfortable. Overall excellent experience from billing to pre-op paperwork and phone calls, sharing of instructions. Every single staff member made sure we were taken care of. Posting this review because everything went so perfectly well and it seems we always forget to share our excellent experiences and usually only write about something when it's gone wrong.
