We've worked with three pool contractors over the course of several years and would have saved…read moreourselves a lot of grief if we had found Hacienda sooner. Verbal communication was great, on the order of minutes to respond to texts over the course of the entire project (i.e. several months and not just until the ink on the contract dries). Unlike most contractors, let alone pool contractors, the contract was exceptionally clear and detailed on what was being done, costs, and TBD items. No surprises or misunderstandings. On time, on budget: obviously, they have multiple projects going on simultaneously, but they are well organized and we never had an issue. On a project of any meaningful size, things happen, but Hacienda actively identifies and addresses them. For example, they noted our booster pump could be lowered to be less conspicuous and fixed it. Side note: they did a really nice job with the pool equipment. PVC was painted to match the manila folder color of the rest of the equipment and it was all well laid out. We've recommended Hacienda several of our neighbors, at least one of whom is now building a pool with them.

I was swayed by the high rating, numerous pictures on Yelp and good solid reviews. There was one bad review but I think that was a misunderstanding with the type of license held. S & A works with a licensed Contractor on larger jobs but by themselves on smaller jobs. Gerardo was very punctual, he came out to review the job, sent me a quote, schedules the job, showed up at the date and time committed, did all of the repairs, did the post repair pressure test to ensure no other leaks, cleaned up and took payment upon completion of the job. They are a small company but do excellent work, very honest, professional and deserve a 5 star rating. They will be my go to company for any repairs needed in the future. Beyond base pricing (and chlorine), they bill for most necessary chemicals separately. This happens multiple times a month so expect an extra $35-$70 on your bill. Don't forget required filter cleanings at an exorbitant price. I would look around for a place that won't nickel and dime you. Also, $220 a month for a service (mid level package) that does not even clean leaves from the pool is outrageous.
