Wow Peet's with a drive thru! Okay, it's the little things and there isn't one close to me...first time at this location and love the industrial/modern/loft chic-ness and airy feel of this place...it makes me feel like I'm getting some 'fancy' coffee at a high-end boutique. Friendly staff, clean and well stocked areas and plenty of room to move around and wait for your coffee as it's being prepared...I hate going to places where you have to wait for ur coffee in this small area with tables or people hovering while your seating at one of the tables...separate area for seating and working which is big plus. Haven't been here during peak hours but will definitely return to experience the morning coffee rush and report back! :) read more

Peet's offered free coffee today for Teachers Appreciation Week. I got into the drive-thru and checked if they were participating. I was surprised that they gave me choices between coffee, tea and ICED COFFEE AND I got to pick the size! I gave them a tip and left with a big cup of refreshing iced coffee that was made perfectly. I asked not to add any sugar but the drink tasted sweet because Peet's offered it to me for free! It's almost bedtime and I am still smiling. It feels great to be appreciated as a teacher! Came here because my kid wanted a chocolate croissant and a hot chocolate so we rolled on through the drive-through. I decided to get a couple items myself one being that Caprese sandwich, which is totally amazing, and also wanted to try one of their new drinks asked for a cold, but when I approached the window to pay and receive the items, they handed me a hot drink, which was supposed to be cold nicely. explain that I asked for this code, which it comes like that, so it wasn't like I was being difficult, and instead of the employee saying sorry about that or let me get you an iced one. Location is convenient for college students using their laptops for research, class assignments, etc. Wi-Fi availability. Ambiance: Very spacious and comfortable. Indoor seating to the left of the main entrance. There is a communal table for at least 8 people. To the right of the entrance is the restroom facility and the counter with all the necessities (lids, napkins, straws, stirrers, sugar, honey, etc.) Wheelchair accessible. Patio seating available outside. It has a drive thru and plenty of parking in the back. Relaxing soft music playing and a bit of old school, rock 'n roll. Natural light from outside and soft lighting inside exude a certain degree of comfort to the eyes...not harsh and not dimly lit, as compared to that certain coffee & tea place across the street near the Walgreen's. Customer service: top notch and superb. Very friendly baristas. Cleanliness: Excellent - Grade A++. Specialties: coffee and tea, of course. Really 5 stars for their cappuccino, but let me explain the 3 stars. I used to love this Peet's because the service was excellent. I'd come here to study or just to get the cafe vibes to sip on a latte. Over time, it got extremely crowded and homeless people started sitting around screaming at people. They were generally harmless, so I didn't mind. Now, however, service isn't great, or the lack of. I really needed to use the restroom and home was still quite a way, so I thought Peet's! And yes, Peet's has a good women's restroom because there are two stalls - one handicap stall and one regular stall. Anyway, after using the restroom, I felt bad about not ordering anything, so the anti social me decided to order through the app even though I was at the store. I ordered a cappuccino. It said it'd be ready in a few minutes. I waited and waited..over 20 minutes. I watched them make orders..lots of drive thru orders. They seemed short staffed because machines were beeping and employees looking stress. I was patient and kept waiting. After around 25 minutes, I was like they must have skipped the order. I stood there for a long time all while they called out names and knew I was waiting for something. I tried to get their attention, but still ignored. Finally I stopped someone and said I was waiting for a mobile order only for the guy to look confused and said did you order to the right store. I was like yes, this is the only Webster store. They asked for the name and then 30 seconds later, the cashier puts a cappuccino in the mobile order area with the lid not fully closed without apologizing. It was probably a drink already made and forgotten for a good 25 minutes. Good thing I wasn't in a rush because that was a lot of time waiting for a drink. Anyway, since Peet's lattes and cappuccinos are typically boiling hot (I've been burned a few times - literally), it was the perfect temp when I took a sip in the car. Plus, the cappuccino was actually pretty darn good. Had things went smoothly, I would have loved to give this Peet's 5 stars. I've been going to Highwire, Signal, and Coffee Cultures for my coffee fix lately that I forgot about Peet's. Sure, they don't do any latte art anymore..either too busy or don't have the skills. The staff at this location is hit and miss. Yesterday I purchased a pound of coffee and received the complimentary cup of brewed coffee the clerk was very pleasant. Went this morning at around 11:30 it was not busy was trying to use a reward and couldn't get it on the app the clerk was not at all helpful and basically said he would void it and for me to step aside to wait on the person behind me they were not that crowded. Wonderful service despite a tremendously intimidating drive-thru line as well as in side. Still greeted quickly and graciously, with some delightful small talk both at the register and with the charming barista. Then to top it all off he just had to show his hand crafted drink of art so he gave me the lid on the side. Overall experience was definitely exceptional. With all the hustle and bustle that Saturday mornings bring in this area I tip my hat to these employees for making me feel acknowledged, taken care of, and lifting my spirits. I was so excited to have time to spend at this location drinking coffee while finishing up my work. This is the fanciest Peet's I have ever seen. I walked in and ordered my drink. Service was awesome, fast and friendly and my drink was tasty. I turned around to sit, no tables, this place gets SUPER packed. Single parties also sit by themselves at larger tables so that doesn't help. I went outside because it was decent weather and there were available tables but I wasn't comfortable anywhere due to the smokers club posted outside the front door. There was a group of 5-6 men with no coffee cups just chain smoking. It was disgusting. No matter where you sat outside you were enveloped with second hand smoke and the loud obnoxious conversation they were having. I've been coming here for a few years now.. A couple times a month. They are very friendly and helpful.. But lately.. They seem to have a ton of new staff members with no customer service skills. I was charged 3 dollars extra for my drink and didn't notice till it was too late because they don't tell you your price at the window anymore?? They don't ask for your Peets membership.. I tried today to give my number and the lady...didnt hear me.. She was too busy to look at me me I guess. Then she said it was too late. Atmosphere: I come here 3x a week to work on my school and job applications. I find the spacious layout with plenty of seating to fit my needs exactly. About half the seats are outlet accessible and it isn't too loud compared to its competitor, not too many people ordering drinks requiring the blender.. making it a comfy environment to study or have a conversation with friends. Coffee: Strong, tasty coffee. The baristas know their stuff, a few even do latte art! For a chain store, I'm impressed. I always order my coffee in a "for here" mug if I plan to stay for a while, a better drinking experience IMO. Tips: There's always $1 off coupons, just google it. 10 cents off if you bring your own cup. Gripes: Sometimes they get my drink wrong, even when they aren't busy.. They either realize it before handing me the cup or happily remade it when I brought it to their attention. Not really a big deal butI hate seeing them waste coffee! I was having a challenging and busy morning and went through the convenient and covid-friendly drive through to pick up coffee for my husband and me. I wasn't in a great mood and I was behind schedule. The guy who took my order was so friendly and in such great spirits he immediately turned my morning around. I can't remember his name, but he was manning the delivery window around 8:30am on Sat, Dec. 12th, had a ton of positive energy and if he's reading this, I wanted him to know that it was noticed and appreciated. I'm a HUGE fan of this Peet's.. I don't remember the last time I liked a Peet's this much. I love that the drinks actually taste personally crafted. I wouldn't compare this to Starbucks in that it feels more like a local cafe as opposed to the chain that it is. The pastries themselves aren't the bomb.. they're pretty standard, and the bagels can sometimes be a little doughy. I frequented this place a lot when I was working from home, and it was really a very regular crowd. I feel like I saw the same people all the time, and I even sat next to the same person a few times. Luckily, we were normal human beings and actually spoke to each other :) I would definitely come here again, and it's a great place to get work down. That's what most people are doing... working. First, I have been drinking green tea matcha lattes with honey syrup and no foam please, from Peet's for the longest so I know how my drink should taste and how I like it. I pull up through the drive through to place my order and ask the cashier if she could make sure that the powder is mixed well. Her response was they steam the milk in so it's already mixed well. first mistake "I wonder if she has ever even had a green tea matcha latte "? The powder mixture is almost never mixed well‍. I go into the store to return the drink and get my refund and they lady at this cash register acted as if she did not want to refund me. she calls David over, the same man who made my drink (totally ignoring the the no foam in my cup part lol) and he acted as if did not want to give me a refund as well. Okay, so I am not going to explain myself not one more time about what's wrong with this drink and why I don't want it anymore. I count 5 times going back and forth with 3 different people about my drink that I paid for not being made right . "I want a refund", take your drink back and give me my refund ". Okay so this is what I was thinking Third mistake, David gave me $5 back, I paid $5.45 for my drink. David did not believe me and had to go check on the drive through register because he thought that I was trying to cheat him out of 0.45 cents "Well, damn if the drink only cost $4.95 per David and I have been paying $5.45 every damn week; exactly who is cheating who". I want my .50 cents x 2 drinks per week for the last 12 months at least. Ordered online many times before and I've always used drive through since I have a baby with me and it's not an easy task to carry a baby and hold a drink and open the car door. All of a sudden today mobile order pick up can only be picked up in store. If that was the case you should have a signed at drive through no mobile as I even waited in line at the drive through to get a drink that they wouldn't give me cause I had to go inside. I found their service to be incredibly rude. I came in to exchange coffee filters and was given an attitude by the manager on duty complaining about making an exchange. In this day and age, and exchange shouldn't be as difficult as they made it out to seem. Then, after ordering my coffee with cream, I asked for more cream because the coffee was still very dark. The cashier told me, rather rudely, that next time I need to say extra cream because she supposedly put in the standard amount of cream. I have been coming to Peete's for over a decade now and from my experience, the amount of cream she put in was far less than what I have gotten in the past. Even still, this isn't something I feel should be corrected rudely about towards a paying customer. I keep going to this place because there is a drive thru and it's a five minute drive from my house. At first the excessively slow line was understandable but as the weeks have worn on and the service has slowly and steadily declined I find it completely unacceptable to spend my money there. Suffice to say it's probably better just to avoid this place and take your money somewhere where they are polite and respectful that you are choosing to spend your money there. I had high hopes for this Peet's but I was pretty disappointed. The most important thing to say about this Peet's is that it NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING. Every surface in the store needs to be wiped down and sanitized. When you walk in the first think you notice is that every table, every chair and counter top needs cleaning. The plexiglass that separates the coffee making equipment from the customers is badly stained with milk and other liquids. Inside the seating area every table is a mess. The outside tables were pretty grotesque and look like they haven't been wiped down in months. The chairs and seating area outside are a disaster and are poorly maintained. The employees are super friendly, efficient and good at customer service. My coffee drink was nicely prepared and tasted good. This place needs some management supervision and a regular cadence of cleaning. read more

Went through the drive thru and politely responded to the feminine voice over the speaker with a yes ma'am. When I get to the window, the individual who felt offended had a coworker confront me in front of my kid and accused me of wrong doing. They tried to push gender politics and instead of responding, I ignored the guy before driving away. Someone wants me to call them a particular pronoun, I do it if there is mutual respect. But don't push your world views on me, especially when I'm trying to get a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate for my kid who is too young to be hearing stuff like that. Peet's coffee ain't that good.
