Placed an order for DoorDash (this was my first mistake). Ordered an iced white (oat milk) with a CHEESY SAUSAGE SLIDER and a side of avocado. The drink was delicious! The lid to the drink is horrible though. It's an open top and I small move and it spills. You'd think they had a lid that's sealed with all the door dashers /uber eats nowadays. But it drink itself was perfection. My deduction however has nothing to do with my drink and it was strictly for the smallest sandwich I've ever paid $5-6 for! The CHEESY SAUSAGE SLIDER is NOT worth the price! Not recommended. It was literally 2 bites (although those two bites are good...not worth it)

I prefer Peet's coffee over Starbucks . So, whenever I'm back home , I frequently visit this location . The baristas here always make my drinks with love and they always do a great job . I always look forward to coming in and having Max ask me what drinks I'll be mixing that day . I can always count on the customer service to be great and the drinks to be even greater ! Love this location and I highly recommend !

Ozzie is a real gem here at PCT folsom. He's been here for something like 13 years. Super friendly. The dine in , bathrooms and outside seating are all exceptionally clean. They got great music on. Great drinks! Great vibe in here. My other favorite is PCT el dorado hills and cirby

I love this place. Such a nice afternoon working spot. Lots of tables with handicap access and a choice of high top seating as well. The Havana cappuccino is so good!

    DELICIOUSNESS

I've been coming here for the past for few years and I've never had a bad experience here! But more recently the employees have been so kind and so welcoming and made every walk in better. There are a few employees I want to highlight though: Tyler, Helen, and Max. They're always so helpful and ready to get your food and coffee done with perfection. The ambiance they bring into the atmosphere is so loving and I always leave in a great mood. I don't know everyone's names but literally every employee here is a ray of sunshine and full of love. I'm so thankful for you all!

Large iced latte with Ripple milk. You can see the dark espresso-y foam on the lid yummm

I don't come to Peet's often because I don't live near one but I was excited to stop by for a large iced latte. There happened to be no line when I walked in and the cashier was waiting at the register to greet me. There was an employee discussing beans at the bean counter (classic Peet's). The cashier and barista were super friendly and patient as I ordered. I asked what nondairy milks they offered and I was recommended the Ripple add-on. I'm glad I tried it because it's delicious and it does not overpower the espresso. Great tasting shots rule this drink, thanks so much to this great Peet's for the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!!

Despite NOT being a fan of Peet's with a preference for Starbucks, I was still quite impressed with this location. The coffee was decent, the space inviting on a cold winter's day and the service very friendly. I came in to kill some time while waiting for an appointment down the street. It was raining and yucky outside and, as the adage goes, I went for any port in a literal storm. I was impressed by the space, which was larger than your average chain coffee spot and conducive to long laptop sessions or curling up with a cup of hot joe. The gentleman and lady who served me were very attentive and got my latte out quickly. It hasn't swayed me away from the Starbucks menu I know and love, but it will make me think twice about consciously avoiding Peet's ion the future. Job well done.

Plenty of indoor seating with a mix of counters and tables, no outdoor setup, and a pretty minimal food menu. But you're not here for the food anyway. Easy We had: Pour Over, Papua New Guinea and Bali (5/5): Finding a genuinely good pour over under five dollars feels almost extinct at this point. Somehow, Kingdom makes it feel normal. Both beans were clean, intentional, and actually distinct, which is the whole point of a pour over. The Papua New Guinea was smooth with soft chocolate notes, balanced and easy without feeling boring. The Bali brought more brightness with a citrus edge that gave it some energy. Two different profiles, both executed well

Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I liked the place. It is a smaller area for seating, but they have a good menu. The food menu is a bit smaller, things such as breakfast, burritos, avocado toast, croissants, etc.... They have a good baked goods section, and they make very good coffee, as is their name. I got a box of macarons for Valentine's Day, plus one for myself, the macaron was tender, and had an amazing flavor. The person I got the Macarons for, she did like them. I also got myself a white mocha, which I liked very much. It wasn't too sweet, and the coffee was deep and rich. The price for everything was very reasonable. I want to come back and try more things, and I will definitely get more of those macarons next time also. Thank you.

We pulled in excited for both food and coffee... but quickly learned this is very much a coffee-first, food-optional situation. The coffee? Pretty solid. I ordered the honey lavender latte and enjoyed it. My daughter's iced vanilla latte also passed the teen approval test. Minor head-scratcher: I ordered my latte "for here" and still got a to-go cup. Now, the food. Oof. I'd strongly recommend sticking to baked goods (I didn't try them, but guessing that would be a better option) The avocado toast was a letdown. Imagine a teeny, paper-thin, cold piece of toast topped with a small smear of avocado that tasted more "packaged" than fresh, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, two lonely feta crumbles, and a sliced hard-boiled egg... served cold... on the side. It did come with a side salad, which felt like an apology. We also ordered a croissant sandwich (ham, Swiss, and scrambled eggs), which unfortunately did not sit well with my husband. The eggs tasted like they may have come from a carton. The staff was nice, but the service model was confusing. When I'm prompted to tip at checkout and there are tables and seating, I assume some level of table service. Instead, we picked up our own coffee, food, silverware, and napkins, and at the end, we also got the honor of bussing our own plates back to the counter. Full-circle dining experience. Bonus details: - They had one single packet of hot sauce left in the entire place - The salt shaker was completely solidified (we did ask for more, but the replacement had exactly one functioning hole) * And just to keep you on your toes, the front door pushes instead of pulls. A small thing, but somehow on-brand. Bottom line: Come here if you want a custom coffee. If you're hungry, manage expectations... or honestly, stick with good old Starbucks for consistency, fewer surprises, and doors that behave.

It's a cute little coffee spot with a fun vibe and great music (Drake was playing!), although seating inside is very limited. There are a few outdoor seats as well. I ordered the Chef's Bowl, and because I love rice, they were kind enough to add an extra scoop of rice along with the potatoes, which I really appreciated. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. I'd definitely like to try it again on a weekday and hope my latte will be in a glassware and my Chef's bowl does not have bacon!

The green haired girl making coffee on the other hand... no sense of urgency in the middle of a rush. She got distracted by a customer she knew talking to her and held my coffee hostage taking forever to finish it because she was talking. I'll stick with driving down the street to go to Qamaria instead.
