A brunette, Caucasian, and pale-blue-eyed super-brat was extremely rude and disrespectful as I was trying to place my long order. She kept rolling her eyes, sneering at me or glancing at another employee, never smiled, and the only words she kept saying were "anything else?!" with unmistakable diva attitude. Fine. I'd noticed the customer service here was poor relative to other Starbucks for a while. But today settles it. Not the cleanest store. It was actually kind of a mess when we walked in on a weekday afternoon. The trash was really full and the table we sat at was dirty. I think this Starbucks here in the Palladio just tastes different- I don't know what it is. I'm a sucker for SBUX and I cannot lie but Palladio SBUX is so cheery and happy- is it that fresh Folsom air? Well, whatever it is I am here for it! This is a great location all around. Located in the Palladium mall, it is easy to find situated on a corner of a building. There is a large entrance, you can't miss it next to the statue of two horses and prominent signage. Parking close can be a challenge when the mall is open fully in "normal" (non-covid restricted times) but there is parking on the sides as well as a parking garage in easy walking distance a building over. As this is not far from the highway, it is not difficult to pop in for a drink or snack. Inside seating has some tables and a community table but this is not the largest store footprint as others in this chain. But the outside patio has many tables and as it is on the north side of the building and has an overhang, it is protected from rain, most wind, and sun. This is important as the days of summer can be very hot at times. Having been here several times, including this morning, I have always found the staff moving quickly and the flow of orders fulfilled in a timely manner. As I am always in for the iced green tea, again today, I was happy with the service as well as the quality of the drink. As this is locate in the mall, this is a great place to meander to during your visit or just hang out with friends or one's book. read more

Been here a few times, but while walking around the area, at 6:30pm on a Wednesday, I got really cold and had a sudden urge for some hot coffee. My friend wanted to go to Nordstrom Rack so we stopped at this location before going to the store since we'd pass it anyways (it's across the street from the Rack. We walked in and my friend was able to grab a seat since she wasn't getting anything. There were a few people sitting and enjoying their drinks but it wasn't too busy. So I jumped in line and there were a couple people in front of me, however the line went pretty fast. Got to the register, the guy behind the counter greeted me and took my order. I ended up getting a tall hot coffee and that's it. After he rang me up, he got my drink ready, gave it to me, then I paid. Super fast transaction. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. I can imagine this place poppin on the weekends but since it was 6:30pm on a Wednesday, the store wasn't buzzing with people. I appreciated the fast experience. Store was clean, however not very big. Everyone is always kind and full of good vibes, and as much as that should be the standard in all Starbs, it just dont always feel as welcomed or relaxed at other locations. Whenever I come here, I am always greeted when walking through the door, no matter how many people are in line. The quality of customer service at the Starbucks has declined over the last year. T I use creamer and the chocolate powder on a regular basis when available but this Starbucks store has not reopened their condiment bar. The tables are often closed and you are discouraged to eat or drink inside the store. It feels like the store is trying to be more of a to go place than a coffee house. I have begun going to the Peet's down the street as the customer service and ambiance are more inviting. It's not as convenient but provides a much better experience for me. read more
