Usually when I come in the baristas are amazing, friendly and helpful. Last weekend the guy taking my order was the best: friendly and knew his coffees. The sun dried Ethiopian is one of the best Starbucks brews. They didn't have it in the machine, but he made me a cup anyway. That's the kinda service people appreciate. I haven't tipped at Starbucks in a while, usually I grab the coffee and go, but this barista made my day! I tipped him well! And today I went to get the sun-dried Ethiopian and the barista said we don't have it in the machine.... So I left. Terrible customer service. I went to this Starbucks to get some reading done away from the kiddos. The baristas were friendly and great. My drink was perfect. It was busy but I found a small table in the back; however, both that table and the one nearby that someone else was at, was sticky and covered in crumbs. Beneath the table was some sticky black/brown stuff (hopefully just food) with some napkin pieces. It wasn't the cleanest Starbucks but it was fine. Great staff but they don't pay attention to the mobile order drinks and the customization of them. I think they get too busy.

I had some favorite cat trees that my cats would only use. They were worn down to the wood. I came upon this couple who restores trees to new condition and tried them. Excellent service and work, very affordable and a beautiful, hardworking couple. You will be very pleased! read more

This is not the closest Starbies to my house; in fact there are now three that are within a mile. I will go out of my way to come here because the staff is absolutely amazing and my simple white mocha is always consistent! My order never really changes except when Christmas time comes around when I add two pumps of peppermint (yes I know it's a year round syrup). Last time I was in the barista ( I'm horrible with names) remembered this and asked if I was ready to do my holiday switch. That made my day! Moments like this happen often here. My kids and I both enjoy coming here because we always leave with a smile. I know that job can be stressful but you all are honestly amazing people. read more

I have frequented this Starbucks for years! When I lived in Davis, I would have to come this direction to see my ophthalmologist annually. So it was the closest Starbucks and by default the one I would go for my blueberry scone and extra hot latte after my appointment. It was one of the smaller Starbucks located in a corner of a nondescript Shopping Center. Living in the area now and being nearby this Starbucks location and wanting a treat I stopped. Wow...post virus visit sure different! Of course that was not a surprise. I knew what to expect. But the surprise was the enthusiasm of the employees and the upbeat, friendly attitude of everyone. Given the pretty dismal environment... no tables, no chairs, few customers... it was quite uplifting to be surrounded by these happy people. I hope this is the right Starbucks if not sorry. The food is okay. But the drinks, they taste watered down too much. The worker we had made the drink with 70% ice, 20% water and sweetener and 1% passion tea lemonade. "Are you guys waiting for an order?" What else did you think we were doing?? Kinda loud, but quiet. Best Starbucks in the Folsom area! There's no drive thru, so the employees aren't too overwhelmed and multitasking with that. I ordered my usual quad espresso and they made it to perfection. The music is soft and the sit down atmosphere in quite opening and relaxed. It's pretty busy at the front, however it seems efficient and no one had any issues with their orders. I also want to mention, if you want to sit down and stay for some time, you're welcome to. There's a biker gang inside right now and myself. The outlets are in WORKING ORDER, there are plenty of restrooms, and the employees are kind. I would revisit and recommend. read more

Here, the service is always top notch: friendly staff, drinks are prompt and delicious, and the store is clean. And, if you come in regularly, they remember you and are happy to see you again. We go to Starbucks every. single. day. Being in Folsom on errands we dropped into this one. BAD IDEA! They seriously didn't know how to make either of our drinks, even after bringing over the manager. For my green tea latte they were making a latte. With coffee. "Ohhhh," he says. "I thought we add tea to the latte." For my husband's half caff they were going to pour half and half into a cup of coffee. Then when they understood what he wanted, he had to explain how to do a pour over. The people after us asked for streamed milk for their baby. "Cold milk?" "No," they explained. "Just put some milk in a cup and steam it to 120 degrees, then we give you money and you give us the milk." Haha! Normally the experienced people outnumber the trainees. Where has Customer service gone? Starbucks USED to be an energetic positive company with cross the board great customer service culture. Such is no longer. The last several times I have stopped at what used to be one of my favorite places has been terrible service and experience. Stopped in real quick for a coffee and an egg bite. 1 register for "training " but NOT to actually check out, 1 for order and check out and 1 for online orders. 4 check out people and 1 barista. Got in, just before the rush. Ordered, paid at the ONE register working. While waiting for my order the rush came in... I browsed shopped. Found a cup I wanted. My order came up, got my order went over to the online register that was empty.... And asked if I could just purchase the coupe with her to avoid having to stand in the NOW very long line for the ONE order register. She said "no" I would have to go stand back in the order line.... Mind you 2 REGISTERS empty!!!! 3 cashiers (1 training) STANDING there and 1 Barista working her butt off..... I left without purchasing the cup and probably will be the last time I go to Starbucks again. Dutch brothers has better customer service. read more

Cute little corner place that is located at JUST the right location among the semi-barren strip malls along Prairie City Road. I found it a bit too casual for someone busy and on-the-go (uh, me). It's deceptively large, with an outside terrace, then some regular tables in the front (a leather couch and coffee table are off to the side). Walk further in, and oui la, an area much bigger, reminiscent of your kitchen nook at home... leather couches, interspersed with a couple of tables. Nice. Overall, an average experience. If they got a dispenser/shaker for the regular sugar, instead of those darned packets, I'd consider a 4-star rating! read more

Update : 11:20 am, 01/15/2018 No Toilet seat covers. No toilet paper. No hand soap (major violation). Enough said..! This is by far my worst experience in any Starbucks in a very long time. Came in at 4.40 pm today. There were just two girls behind the counter. The cashier was great but the barista was probably having a bad day. I always order a tall coffee in a grande cup so that I have enough room for cream. I could not find Half and Half and hence I approached the barista and the conversation is mentioned below. Me : can I have some half and half please Barista : we are out of half and half (in a curt voice, also how about a sorry to begin the sentence) I was so bummed because I know the other alternative was whole milk. I would have to add a lot of whole milk and my coffee will get cold. There is a Safeway across from this Starbucks in the same complex, how about getting some from there. They did not have sugar in the raw on the counter and I asked for some sugar in the raw. (How about keeping the bar stocked) She literally chucked 3 sachets of brown sugar. She never bothered to ask me if I needed more. I normally use 5-6 sachets. Just this morning I was at the EDH location where there was a lot of commotion because the mobile ordering system was messed up and there were several angry customers. I was admiring the way the 6 people behind the counter handled it beautifully with a smile on their face.. I admire SBUX a lot, I have adopted several of their ideas. Sorry for the low rating but.... I was in this AM for a morning drink and a business meeting. It was around 9:30 shortly after the morning rush had gone. My coworker and I were sitting at a bar table close to the window. One of the employees started the "morning clean up" and was cleaning up, taking the trash out and sweeping. All good things. Massive failure though! She was sweeping the floor and got to a table in the corner that had lots of crumbs on the floor. She swept that up and then used the broom to sweep the TABLE TOP!!! The same table top you eat on and put your hands/arms on! I watched carefully thinking she'd come back with a towel and cleaner to finish the job but no, she continued on and just kept going to the next table. Typically these sorts of things don't bother me but now that I have kids who eat off of table tops I find it really gross. Someone needs to remind the employees at this store about safe food handling and cleaning techniques. Are you listening manager? Additionally she swept all around our table while we were sitting there discussing business. Not a huge deal but it bothered me, just wait until we leave then you can come back and finish. It's sort of like when you are at a restaurant and while you're sitting at the table they come and refill the sugars, S&P and ketchup. read more

Pros: the baristas are always nice. Coffee and a spinach wrap have been my go-to's for a long time. I should make my own. But I work remotely and I like people around me. Cons: DIRTY. And now that I've read the review about the employee sweeping the table top with a broom, I'm not coming back to stay. Some of these employees need to grow up. They are loud and obnoxious. You screaming at the top of your lungs because you are enjoying your job/something your funny co-worker said/think that you are just hilarious (that's great!) doesn't add to my experience as a customer. I realize noise happens but don't add exponentially to it. The wifi SUCKS. Peet's on E. Bidwell is so much better! I only forsee myself coming back for a quick coffee. read more

This is such a great Starbucks to visit. It's been recently remodeled, which is a plus. They also keep things so clean. Another plus is they keep pastries and frig items like sandwiches and fruit well stocked, which is important to me because Starbucks is often my breakfast, lunch or snack destination. So I've talked about appearances, but now to what really makes the experience - the people. The people here are fantastic. Nick is one of the best personalities to encounter. Dont waste your time using using mobile order and selecting this location for pick up. Submitted my order for a cold brew coffee at 7:13 am. Mobile app stated order would be ready in 1-4 minutes. Arrived at this location at 7:18 and didnt see my coffee. Had to ask the barista if they had a mobile order for my name. She checked her monitor and said it would be out shortly. Then the register barista who had just been changing the trash took my order and wrote on my cup without washing his hands..i made it clear I wanted heavy whipping cream in my cold brew and no water.. on my cup it says heavy cream but theirs no notation about no water.
