Love Peet's! Had a hankering for some croissants this morning and they were so delicious and crispy. Service is always friendly and so is the vibe!

Stopped in for an iced tea and was greeted very happily. Tea was made fast and it was good. The atmosphere was comfortable. A nice place to hang for a few.

AMBIANCE Peet's in Hillcrest is a clean, spacious, and naturally lit coffee and tea shop. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The parking lot was filled in on my visit, and is free as a patron for the first hour. DRINK 5/5 Black Tie: deliciously strong cold brew infused with chicory syrup and a splash of milk and cream. I added more milk from the self serve area. SERVICE Staff were amicable, attentive, and friendly Tip: beware of parking in the adjacent parking lot which does not have the same rules for patrons.

Coffee was a necessity for the morning of my brother's wedding. I called ahead to confirm pricing and serving size for the to go carafe hoping there was enough for our wedding party and vendors. For about $32, the to go carafe energized a party of 10 to get through our very busy day! Thank you Jacob for your polite and professional demeanor answering my panicked call at 6:30am searching for coffee!

Great location with a decently sized parking lot with 60 minutes free while inside. Plenty of indoor and patio seating and a community vibe. There are usually both groups and people working on a laptop inside. I love the Black Tie and am still dreaming about the holiday sausage waffle breakfast sandwich that's gone now. I always order ahead on the app but the staff always says hi. Prices are a bit cheaper than Starbucks and quite frankly the coffee is better.

Cold brew and the most complicated cup of water

Asked for a water cup, then the female employee asked if we wanted split our drink, to which we said no. Then she said, "oh I didn't know if you wanted water in the cup" and then handed us an empty cup. When we then clarified that we in fact did want water in the WATER cup, she rudely said, "oh so you did want water?" To which we said yes please. When she handed us the water cup she rolled her eyes and did not respond when we said thank you. As we were leaving, we could hear her making fun of us (my boyf and I) with her male coworker, right in front of us. Please keep in mind, we asked for one small cold brew and one water cup. We tipped, waited about 5 minutes for her to serve us despite no line, and she could not have been ruder. Fingers crossed she was having a bad day and isn't truly like this to everybody, but quite literally the weirdest (and dumbest) experience I have had a coffee shop, much less a Peet's. Still love Peets, and I hope that woman has a better day.

    Plant based sandwich

Loved the coffee. The holiday spiced latte super delicious. Got the plant based sandwich and I wasn't a fan. The "sausage" tasted exactly like the little sizzler sausage links that you can buy it McDonald's sausage patties. (I never did like them) that flavor combo is just something I don't like. My boyfriend on the other hand liked it. I'd be back. And maybe try a different sandwich The service was beyond excellent. I truely wish Yelp allowed half stars. Cause 4 just doesn't seem quite right but a three seems a little harsh for the experience and coffee.

Vegan Lemon Scone and Horchata Latte with oat milk. Perfect.

What happened to vegan lemon poppyseed scones?? I came here just for those and they are no longer available:(

They do change food vendors. There used to be a dem-baguette with jam and butter I loved but alas, times change and so does business with other vendors.

It is a very small coffee shop that is really just a counter area without seating. When I walked up, there was one staff member working. He was friendly. They had a small menu of specialty coffee drinks listed for the holidays. It appears that they serve wine as well, as there was a list of wines by the glass on the same menu. I decided on the iced pistachio latte, as I absolutely love pistachio, and it was a bit of a warm day. I asked for nonfat milk, which is getting harder to come by at small coffee shops, so I was glad they could accommodate. I waited a couple minutes, as the staff had to leave to go get my requested nonfat milk from what appears to be a larger storage area. There are not seats in Coffee Culture, however, the small seating in the public market is quite cute and there was plenty of seating near the fountain. My drink was, unfortunately, just OK. It was a typical iced latte. It was slightly sweet and had no pistachio flavor at all. I'm guessing it was made with a simple pistachio syrup, and no real pistachio. I was a bit disappointed. If I were shopping in Old Town, I might stop in Coffee Culture for a quick coffee to go, but I would't order anything too fancy.
