Arrived about 2pm, waited less than five minutes behind two parties to order. The staff were welcoming and informative, easily answered a few questions I had. The restaurant was clean and a casual vibe with pop music playing. I decided to try a Salmon Poke Bowl. Food was ready in about five minutes. It was delicious and fresh tasting. I'm very surprised at the low ratings as I have never had a negative experience at this location. Cool fact, this is the Original Pei Wei! Enjoy! I always enjoy my meals at this location on Ray Road. Today the female cook Gabby cooked some delicious good food. She cooked my spicy kung pao shrimp perfectly!!! She's focused and quiet. I always order the same thing and she's cooked it the best. I want to tell the public I have a positive experience. ... Not just a complaint. This payways really aim to please the customer. Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning. The chicken was raw. Raw pieces of the teriyaki chicken. The crab wontons were doughy and the crab tasted off or rotten. Thai donuts were raw doughy in the center. Barely gave enough dipping sauce to coat the inside of the container. I feel horrible and worry I'm going to have food poisoning from raw undercooked chicken and rotten crab. The employees were not friendly or nice. Long wait for raw food. We are fans of PF Changs, so when we learned the Pei Wei is sort of the fast casual version, we were excited to try it out. You order at the counter, then your food is brought to your table. Drinks are self-serve, as are utensils, etc. We ordered the lettuce chicken wraps and Mongolian steak. Both were tasty and portion sizes were generous. The food was delicious and satisfying-especially for the price. I noticed that they are also doing wings, which we didn't try since we were here for some specific dishes. That seems like an odd menu item, but maybe they need to branch out to increase market share? The staff were interacting with each other in a rather unprofessional manner. I couldn't tell if they were teasing or truly belittling each other, but there were some moments that felt uncomfortable to witness. Perhaps some additional training on how to behave in front of guests, including not being on your cell phone, might be appropriate. read more

We were beyond disappointed with the food and the service at this location. we ordered several items off the menu to each item was equally as disgusting as the next. The food, overall, gets an F, because your eggrolls should not taste like the propane used to heat up the wok, and neither should the chicken lo mein. The wonton soup and the sour soup were disgusting, and the taste was completely off. The service at this location also gets an F. our server was very inconsistent, bringing out items of food, one by one, and in the wrong containers. When we asked him why he brought our soup out in a plastic container, and rest food regular bowls he responded by saying "that's just the way the cook did it." Overall, this location gets an F. I would highly encourage anyone looking for Asian food to look elsewhere, because there are other restaurants that will serve you better, and take great pride in the food that they make, unfortunately this location falls far short of that. During our visit, it was obvious, that the staff had no supervision. There was no management in the restaurant to ensure that the quality of the food remained consistent, and that the service remained consistent. We regretted spending the money at this location, but the lesson has been learned, and we will never return to this location, and we will highly encourage anyone to stay away. read more

Pei Wei has always been a favorite of mine. This is not my normal location. I normally get the Pei Wei Spicy Chicken. I am not sure that they carry this as a menu item anymore but this restaurant did make it for me. Ordering online is always easy. Pickup was easy but the cashier line was crowded. This location is nice for dinning in as plenty of seating and bigger inside than appears. Parking is available and even have express parking for pick-up. We ordered the seasonal donuts and those were good fresh but not reheated. I would give this experience 3.5 as the portions were smaller than normal. read more

I had the New Thai Basil Cashew Chicken. It tasted great and I really appreciated the large amount of juicy white meat in brown rice. The value is excellent-alot of food for under $15. We had dinner here on Monday evening and it surprisingly wasn't too busy. There were five in my group and so it took us time to decide what we all wanted to eat. We ordered: One chicken pad Thai extra spice One shrimp fried rice One orange chicken with white rice One kids lo mein One general chicken tso with white rice Our total was about $60. We got our drinks, and looked for a table. All the tables were filthy. Not one was clean so no biggie we cleaned it up ourselves. Our food didn't take too long to arrive but the dishes all arrived at different times. The chicken pad thai has always been a favorite for us at pei wei but this one was a no. We asked for it to be extra spicy and instead what we got was extra sweet. Definitely not how we remember it tasting. The orange chicken was good but it seemed like I don't get enough chicken. The portion was off. Also some pieces had no chicken in them, it was plain breading. The general tso is really good, but again, there were only like 6 pieces of chicken in that whole dish. We did get like 15 peppers in there though.. The white rice was also very dry. Not sure how long it had been sitting out or when it had been made. It was definitely not fresh though.. One word...WOW! I have a family of 4, so we ordered the 4 entrée platter and a couple of sides to get a better experience of the food selection. The food was great and there was plenty of it. The platter came as one large, multi-compartment "thing". It held all of the food making it easy to share with the whole family. Pricing was great and very conscious with the current times and funding constraints. Also delivery was very quick and friendly. We will definitely be eating here again and again. read more
