Good sushi if you are looking for good and not earth shattering. The restaurant is on the small side, very clean and had 1 waitress who seemed to have things under control. We weren't starving so we skipped appetizers and went right to the sushi. You can see from my picture that we got salmon skin hand rolls which is my barometer at a sushi place. It was very good, not too crispy so that you think it is going to break your teeth and not limp, just in between and that was good enough for us. We also got tamago, sweet potato roll and a roll with mango and shrimp. All good! We got super fruit teas that were so sweet it actually hurt to drink it but did work as an advantage because we ended up mixing them with full glasses of water so we had more tea. So would I come back? Absolutely. If you are in the area, shopping at Tanger or seeing a movie, definitely eat here, they do everything right.

When you first come in here, you feel the heat so immediately you want to enter and stay to get out of the cold. Waiters are friendly, they don't push you in ordering quickly even though we came in late. Staff of three were even patiently waiting for us to finish up, they didn't push us even though we were the last table and they left immediately when we did. Food was fresh and beautifully presented. Recommend the Hamachi Kama. The sushi and sashimi for two was enough for us 2 couples. No need to order the most expensive version.

    Seafood yaki soba

I have been here before and never had an issue. So much confusion trying to order sushi and yakisoba. When i went to pick up the food i checked my order to make sure it was correct. There was a kid working and i said i didnt order the seafood ramen and he says well thats what you ordered. I said i got yakisoba not ramen and proceeded to ring me up. I had to ask another person to make sure its correct. They are totally two different dishes. When i got home the sushi is just okay. The yaki soba was jusy okay as well they just threw crab stick on top. Very disappointed with this, definitely went here because it's close but never coming here again. They truly just didn't care there was an issue with the order.

My boyfriend wanted Wendy's then I said burritos so obviously we got sushi We spontaneously chose this spot to try and it was such a great choice. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given a minute to order we got - 2x Shrimp Tempura Rolls -2x California Rolls -1x Soft Shell Crab Roll -1x Tuna Roll We loved the decor of this place as one piece fans we saw the walls covered in characters from the show

Working a bit late and needed dinner. I've passed this place numerous times...it was overdue to try! I chose the Sake Roll. The Sake Roll included spicy salmon, avocado, and topped with salmon. It was delicious and fresh! Very enjoyable and filling. The roll was cut into 8 pieces. I also ordered a seaweed salad. It was just subpar. Nothing overly special and nothing to brag about. It was also very liquidy. I've had numerous seaweed salads, and I've never had one as liquidy as this one. With how fresh and delicious the sushi was, I will absolutely come back and order different rolls...just not seaweed salad.

Spicy Salmon Salad ... not what I expected

Came here for dinner after shopping at Tanger outlet center at Deer Park and as we were waiting patiently for a server, I started to think we should have gone someplace else. Don't get me wrong, we were seated just as we were walking in the door but after being seated .. it was like no one noticed we had no menus or drinks or anything else. There was one waiter who saw us while he was giving another table waters who I thought was going to at least give us menus ... I thought wrong. He actually went to wipe down the table right next to us and asked us if it was only 3 of us, which we said, 'yes'. He finished wiping down the table and then gave us menus and utensils. We sat for a good 7 minutes before another server noticed that we were just sitting there, twirling our fingers. She asked if we wanted anything to drink and when we told her we were actually ready to order, she happily obliged. We ordered the sweet potato tempura appetizer, sushi pizza with tuna, spicy salmon salad, house special yaki (ramen) and a sweetheart roll. -Sweet potato tempura ... very good, not greasy and had a great crunch. Would order again. -Sushi pizza with tuna ... slices of tuna over seaweed salad on top of a scallion pancake. Decently sliced tuna but the seaweed salad was way too much to the point where the crispy scallion pancake top was soggy. Would definitely not order again. -Spicy salmon salad ... ok, this was my fault, I should have looked on Yelp to see what it actually looked like. When I see 'salad' on a menu, I'm assuming at least lettuce and tomato. Well, I assumed wrong! What I got was a little ball of spicy salmon with panko surrounded by thin slices of avocado, drizzled with spicy mayo. When I say little ball of spicy salmon, I mean little ball. It was the same size of the soy sauce dish you use for sushi!! Not worth the $11 I was charged. On the list of definitely not ordering again. -House special yaki (ramen) ... husband said it was good. It's a noodles stir fry with veggies and proteins (shrimp and pork). He said he'd order it again. -Sweetheart roll .. spicy tuna and avocado roll topped with tuna, shaped into a heart. Good roll and would order it again. Don't know if I'd return to Mizuki, honestly. They do need to work on their customer service but the food is decent.

Found this restaurant in a plaza of the Texas Roadhouse! A pretty small restaurant, but you can get a nice sushi dinner here. Party of 7 and a baby, we ordered a lot of appetizers as well as sushi. I don't recommend big parties, but groups of 4 would do just fine. Sushi: The fish and the rice of the nigiri is well-balanced, the chef is generous on the fish portion, if you'd been craving chewy, delicious sushi, you can get it here! They have 2 pages on the menu of their specialty rolls, we've tried the Green Dragon Roll (Eel & Avocado) and the Lucky 7 (Fried Spicy Salmon) Roll. Delicious! I would order again, perhaps togo? The waitress here are knowledgeable about the menu. They helped in ordering a combo menu that is cheaper when we kind of lost our thoughts and started ordering randomly.. lol It wasn't so family-friendly when the both waitress started drinking with the gentlemen seated at the bar. But they came when they were called, so I guess that's all that matters.

Paid $20 for a Lunch Bento Box. Usually comes with white rice but switched it to fried and it cost $3 extra for a small scoop of rice. Also says it comes with vegetable tempura that was filled with onions and two pieces of broccoli. I went back to complain and he added one more piece of broccoli. I'm never one to complain because I work at a restaurant but the portion size is terrible.

Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7:30pm and is served at the bar only. We were lucky to arrive early since we were told by several people that it gets very busy. We ordered a little bit of everything. For drinks, we tried multiple Komodo Dragon and Mango Madness cocktails, which were $7 each during happy hour. We also ordered several happy hour appetizers and rolls, including the pork gyoza, popcorn chicken, chicken tempura roll, California roll, and American Dream roll. Everything tasted great, the presentation was nice, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a Yuzu Mule but didn't care for the flavor. The bartender was very accommodating and happily switched it out for another drink, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was welcoming, with dim lighting and beautiful wood decor. We really enjoyed our outing and plan to come back again to try more from the menu.

The decor was beautiful; I really liked the consistent use of their logo, proudly illuminated at all the tables, which gave the space a sophisticated appearance. Even the menus were nicely done. I found myself gazing at the pictures instead of picking out my meal. To start we ordered the Japanese Clear Soup and the King's Treasure Roll. Both starters were delicious. The soup was served hot, lightly seasoned, and it really felt like comfort in a bowl. The treasure roll was good; we just had a hard time trying to pick it up with the chopsticks, as it was very slippery. With a little patience, we managed to get it. For beverages, we went with the Blueberry Lemonade and Virgin Mojito. Although both were decent, they were a little underwhelming and could've used more flavor. Next time, I might just order the Pineapple or Mango Virgin Mojito to see if it's any better. Our Entrees were great. My husband ordered the Spicy Crabmeat Crusted Filet Mignon, and he demolished it. I chose to go with two specialty rolls, The American Dream Roll and Rock N Roll, both fantastic. For dessert, we chose the Matcha Cheesecake and the 3 Flavor Tempura Ice Cream (vanilla, chocolate, and green tea). The cheesecake itself didn't have a strong Matcha taste, but that matcha ice cream was all the way IT! I could've had a bowl of that and been very satisfied. Really, their ice cream game is solid, so good! Lastly, our server Nicole was the cherry on top. She was so welcoming and attentive, offering suggestions, and providing descriptions of the menu items, she never made us feel bad for asking "What's That". All in all, we had an awesome experience at Takumi and look forward to visiting again.

All the ingredients tasted very fresh, and I was also happy to see it opening til late since we were coming back from a roadtrip. They also have a wide selection of yummy special rolls which you can't beat for the price, but do be warned, they are more filling in case you're trying to fill up on a lot of sushi. Service was quick, and servers frequently came by to ask what we wanted to order (which they either took the order on a notepad or via their iPad). There was also no wait when we got there, and it was a nice mid-higher tier sushi spot with a few larger groups still there close to closing time. I loved that they didn't fill up too much rice on the sushi rolls. It was also a sweet surprise that the green tea and red bean ice cream, which was fairly creamy by surprise, also paired nicely with my fried Oreos. The hibachi experience itself also lacked the energy, interaction, and entertainment you expect when choosing hibachi. Even the guests at the table next to us commented at the end of the meal about how poor the experience had been, so we clearly weren't the only ones disappointed. We came for the full hibachi experience and unfortunately did not receive it. We left feeling like we should have gone somewhere else. Very disappointing, and we will not be returning.
