I couldn't tell if there was a 3rd person in the kitchen making the hot food. The pad thai is a little sweet and too dry, the noodles stick together. The sushi was freshly and a good size. There were dirty plates on the table, and we did not know where to sit. Plus, their child was occupying a table with little seating for guests. Used to be my go to place, but after today it's time to find a new spot. Ordered a lite dinner and got a choice of 3 veggies with tofu. I picked mushroom, asparagus and bean sprouts. After I placed the order, they called to tell me they were out of bean sprouts. Okay fine, disappointing because that was one of the whole reasons I ordered it. So I asked for snow peas instead. You could have told me they just threw it in a steamer and then the container and that would sound accurate. Then my cold crab salad was packed on top of my hot veggies, so I had a warm crab, cucumber and mayo salad. If you're going to be out of most of the veggies I want, don't cheap out and pack my order with broccoli after I specifically said I didn't want it. Ordered the chicken donburi for delivery and it was just a soupy mess. It was basically souped sauce with rice. Donburi is suppose to be a egg omelet over rice with meat and veggie in it with a HINT of sauce over it. Complete garbage. First off: lots of options on the menu, ranging from specialty rolls to fried tempura, sashimi sushi, bento combination boxes. They usually offer your meal with rice, miso soup and a salad, which to me is considered a well rounded meal. I got the vegetable tempura meal with all of the above for less than $10. I also ordered a melon flavored Japanese ramune soda (those symbolic glass bottles that you need to pop the marble in order to drink it). Excellent experience to have if you have never popped open a soda like that before. There are two large flat screen tv monitors, and it was playing Kung fu panda during dinner. I really enjoyed the entire atmosphere as well as the deliciously made food. If anything I would suggest making the restaurant bigger so more people can come and enjoy this place. This place is really good. I always get there veggie sushis and my son loves anything with chicken. I have never ate anything here that I didn't like. If you call and pick up your order they can have it ready in like 10 mins, delivery takes a while, sometimes about 45 mins. So I most of the time just go and pick it up. I just called to ask about the order and the lady flipped out on me and hung up when all I was trying to ask her was if she could add eel sauce and yum yum sauce, that I would have paid for. As a restaurant worker myself. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. My boyfriend and I ordered from here frequently from uber eats and never had a problem. Twice this past month it has taken over 2 hours for food. I completely understand when you are busy but you should turn off/ pause orders in this case. Once it hit an hour and a half I called and both times was spoken too in a extremely rude manner. I was hung up on when I was asking nicely for an estimate time, because we were hungry and wanted to have an idea. All they said was we are busy and hung up. I usually only stop by for lunch special or I'll do take out l. Lunch specials are very inexpensive and offers a combo with salad or miso soup. I have been coming here for years and with the new owners, I love it even more. We (my fiancé and I) come almost once a week and sit at the sushi bar. The appetizers are wonderful and they always remember that my fiancé is gluten free. Their salads are good, I usually get a green salad that we split and an appetizer that we split also. I have tried many different rolls from simple rolls to chef special rolls and I am never disappointed. This has also become my daughters favorite sushi place too.
