Menu, March 2026- menus may change seasonally

Loved sitting at the bar and watching all the magic happen! Service was spot on, pastas are made in house, and we have dined here serveral times. Expect seasonal menu changes at Lucia Pasta Bar. Also, while seated at the bar overlooking the open kitchen, we noticed the restaurant is very focused on portion control and pasta is carefully measured out which explains a more modest serving size. Most likely you won't need a "To Go" box and will finish your meal in entirety. One of my favorite items here is the Caesar Salad which our waiter asked if we wanted to share. Yes, please - we assumed it was large enough to share and indeed it was. Very good. The Tagliatelle Bolognese ($25) is a classic and yummy. A reorder. Also enjoyed was the Campanelle ($22) with crispy shallots. The Grandma Jacovino's Steak Pazzalaiolo, ($38) topped with marinara and mozzarella arrived smothered and covered, and made me wonder what the toppings were hiding. We ordered the steak, in addition to our own entrees, to be shared. Unfortuantely, we all found the steak fell short of expectations and was noticeably chewy and lacked tenderness. Not a reorder. This Starland District restaurant is small and will require a reservation. You'll find yummy classic coktails here ($14-$16) and a limited red and white wine menu.

    Cute corner street sign!

The Mafaldine and Tagliatelle Bolognese were both delicious and full of flavor. With its warm atmosphere and great food, this is such a good date night spot. We'll definitely be back!

We have been here several times and every single time has been a great experience. We prefer sitting at the pasta bar as it is entertaining to see the chefs at work but there is other seating as well. We have found that about 4 total items does the trick for filling us up but will sometimes go rogue and get 5 because there are so many good options on the menu! Pictured here are the asparagus, octopus, pizza and the mafaldine pasta. Not pictured is the pistachio cannoli as that only lasted about 10 seconds in front of us - they are amazing. I am truthfully not a huge asparagus fan but the wife loves it...and Lucia may have converted me and was probably my favorite item of the night. The staff is friendly and are very quick to grt drink orders and water refills. They also were kind enough to give us a to go cannoli for my wife's birthday, which was a very nice gesture.

Service was amazing but food was average. Started with the bread - good but a little disappointed that it is served cold instead of warm. Tried two different pasta dishes and portions were quite small for the price. They were good but food was luke warm. Nothing to rave about unfortunately

My experience was 10/10! I was visiting my friend and I felt like we needed a treat. She had mentioned she wanted to try Lucia Pasta Bar. We didn't make a reservation but were lucky to be sat. I'm sure it's best practice to make a reservation, especially if you have a large party. We got sat at the bar and I just want to say the waitresses/bartenders were AMAZING. I wish I got their names. They kept the vibes going and were giving the best customer service! I'm so grateful because this is the type of experience I LOVE to have at restaurants. We ordered a bottle of wine, the focaccia, the vodka pasta & the steak. The focaccia was amazing and huge! The steak was my favorite. I can't get over how moist and crusty it was. The portions were huge. The total was $134 for all of this. I was in awe with the price and the quality. The service we received was obviously a huge plus! FINAL VERDICT: I will definitely be back here as soon as I get back. I've been raving to everyone about this place. It's been a really long time since a restaurant has left me this impressed!

I wish I would've taken more pictures but we were legit eating so fast it didn't have a chance! The vibes were immaculate, the service was great, and we had such a good time. We started with the focaccia and romaine lettuce and both were delicious and I'd absolutely recommend. I had the princess pasta which was bomb but my friend ordered the beet pasta and 1000% it is the way to go it was such a unique flavor! I would absolutely recommend coming here. It's very reasonably priced and it was so good!

I was lucky to snag a seat here! Even though it was about an hour wait for a solo spot, I passed the time with a drink at Smol and came back just in time to grab a seat at the bar. The space inside is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere made the wait worthwhile. I ordered a cocktail and the tortellini pasta dish--both were fantastic. I only stayed about 20 minutes to make sure others could get a chance to sit, but I definitely want to return and explore more of their menu.

Squid ink pasta with the whole bikini bottom in it Clams were tough but everything else was perfect.

Made reservations, seated immediately, didn't feel too close to neighboring tables as others complained, great customer service, cute aesthetic. My squid ink pasta was great, except my clams were tough. He said his bolognese just tasted like spaghetti. The focaccia was really good, huge portion too! Cocktails were awesome! 90s R&B was a pleasant surprise! I'd go back for sure.

    Cherry Tomato Foccacia

Best meal during a 3-day visit. Pictured is the Cherry Tomato Foccacia. Also enjoyed the Bolognese, which was perfection, and Steak Pizzaiola which was such a uniquely delicious dish. Cocktail was also great! No reservation, although probably best, and we got in for bar seating after a short wait on a Friday night. Great service topped off our first time, and we hope to be back!

Wine! Can't remember which one it was but it was an Italian one.

Solid 2.5 I was torn between rounding up or down with the rating. And tbh, I chose 2 star rating to cover ppl like myself when it comes to food. Overall for Savannah it's a great addition but I wouldn't ever waste my money there again. Price: great prices!!! Food: mediocre at best. I had the clams, bolognese, squid ink bucatini - clams were clams in butter. Bolognese was a disappointment. Bucatini (I forgot to take a pic) was the nicest dish out of the 3 and I def prefer Lucia's to other restaurants in the area. Ambience: I see what they are trying to bring to Savannah. Its cute. Service: could have improved. Wine: saved the best for last!!! This is why it got the 2 1/2 rating and not a 2.

This was my first time at Lucia and I have zero complaints. I sat at the pasta bar to watch the action and had great service from the whole team. I've eaten a lot of pizza, and this is some of the best of this style I have had. As a starter I got the Octopus dish, it was excellent as well.

First time and sat at the pasta bar. What a delicious experience! You MUST drink the Vesuvio! You MUST eat the clams. Big thanks to Hannah, Hoda, and Majo for making dinner special

Great experience with friendly attentive staff. They did an amazing job with the building. The pasta fucks! Great ingredients plus great cooks equals amazing pasta dishes. It can be a little crowded inside when busy but that shows you how great the food is.

For pasta, we had the tagliatelle with veal ragù, which was bursting with deep, rich flavor, and the strozzapreti, which was incredibly light yet still full of flavor in every bite. We ended the night with dessert, and both were exceptional, the blackberry sorbet was refreshing and vibrant, and the chocolate budino was rich, silky, and amazing. We also sat on the back patio with our dog, which we really appreciated since they are dog-friendly. The only suggestion would be to improve the walkway access to the back patio for guests with dogs; it wasn't the most comfortable route, as the adjacent area was quite messy. Our waiter, James was great and loved chatting with him. Overall, a truly memorable meal with beautiful flavors and we would absolutely return.

The pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was cooked al dente to perfection with a light flavorful sauce. Overall it was a truly delicious meal in a bright clean setting and I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients. The staff were kind and they were able to seat us without a reservation.

So, after moving to GA recently, we decided to go back for my birthday. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the old Italian look of this place. We could not have asked for a better table location as we were all the way in the back and tucked away in the corner, very private and romantic. The only issue is the circular coach seating was worn out, and I knew with bad back I might in for an uncomfortable night. The service itself was professional, but not very friendly. While most staff members seemed to smile and appeared to be enjoying themselves, our waiter acted like he did not want to be there. As for the food, it just did not measure up to the past, as there was 1 great dish, 1 OK dish, 1 not so good and 1 just bad. We started out strong with Denver Lamb Ribs with a sweet Ginger soy sauce glaze. Easily the best rib dish we ever had. We debated on our next dish between the Lobster Cocktail or Stone Crab Claw and unfortunately went for the Crab as it had years since we had some. We both agreed the Crab meat did not seem fresh as it was mushy and the sauce lacked the tang of a traditional Stone Crab sauce. We both ordered the Crispy Scored Flounder as that is the reason we came here in the 1st place. The dish is a Flounder, that is scored on both sides into easy chunks to eat, with and Apricot Shallot Sauce. Overall, it was an OK dish, but not as good as either of us remembered as it could have used more sauce on top of the fish. We finished up with a poorly executed Bourbon Pecan pie. This dish looked (see picture) and tasted not much different than a Little Debbie pie you buy in boxes of 10 at the grocery store. This small round piece of pie had zero Bourbon sauce or flavor whatsoever. The dish seemed so out of place both looking and tasting, that I went to see what others posted on yelp, and what we were served didn't even come close to previous dinners experiences. Not a great way to end my birthday dinner.

For example, they didn't even get our drink order correct. It took about an hour to get our breakfast order and another 20 minutes for the bill. I had asked my omelette to come with a side of avocado and the "avocado" was basically guacamole. None of the ingredients tasted fresh. Seemed like everything came out of a can or was frozen. Ambience was casual and the facility is clean. Not eating there again. It'll be cheaper to eat along the riverfront than this place. Save your money and tastebuds and go somewhere else. The service was pretty good at the restaurant, and the drinks were strong and tasty. The meatballs were overcooked but okay. As you can see in the pictures, they garnish the dishes the same way. Same bread, greens and cheese are on top. So even though we got 2 different dishes they were similar tasting. The chicken parm was pretty good though! Overall I thought the prices were a little high, even compared to elsewhere in Savannah. It was convenient for a hotel restaurant, but I wouldn't say it's worth a visit if I was staying elsewhere.

While most of the rooftops are regularly accessible to the public, there's something about Myrtle & Rose which has caused it to elude us. Often, it has been closed for a private party, or perhaps it was full. In any case, we finally were carded and sent up the elevator with the slightly aggressive doors. Yes, they close fast. Keep a move on! We were offered a table overlooking the river and served by Will. My wife enjoyed her Amber Hour, and I an old fashioned. I suppose they don't want us getting tipsy and falling off, since my drink may have had 2 or 3 ounces. A good little taste, but not for long for this Wisconsin boy. Let's not go down the road of it being a "real" old fashioned -- I know and enjoy both kinds. (You must when you also own a distillery.) The two shining points of the evening were the view and our server. This spot offers a nice, close-up view of the river from both directions -- perfect for the occasional ships passing in the night. Our server, Will, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. By the end of the 50° night, Will had brought a blanket for my wife. While we can handle below-zero temps at home, there's something about 50° on vacation that gives us the shivers. Perhaps it was the dress -- I'm not sure, since I wasn't the one wearing it tonight.
