I brought my Avalanche here about 5yrs ago because I was handing it down to my oldest grandson and wanted to make sure it was in good condition, I was always taught to keep up maintenance on any vehicle especially the oil changes. Very little was done to my Avalanche and after $1,000 of maintenance it was a great Christmas gift. It had just under 92,000 miles on my 2004 Avalanche. That truck lasted 5yrs for my grandson, even tho he never took care of it like I did but that's what happens when you give someone something ilfir free instead of saving and paying for it on your own. We took my wife car in '14 Buick LaCrosse it was the intake sensor and the battery for the car remote. I needed a smog test for older 1979 truck, I've had the truck smog tested many times before at other stations and know what it cost and how long it takes. It usually takes 30 minutes. The test process hasn't changed much. So I decide to give this place a try. I go into the office and show my DMV notice and the lady looks it over and tells me it will take 3 hours to do the test. What a bunch of nonsense. Won't be coming here again. read more

If I could rate them No stars I would they did it to me twice already. I went there for a smog check and they failed me intentionally because they said that my pvc hose was broken and need to be replaced in order to pass the smog. They said it's a free retest but they will charge me $150 for just a small hose that is easy to replace with just a hand and also cost 8 bucks from the dealer, so I left and went to the other smog shop nearby the same day and ask them if my pvc hose was really broken and they said that it's completely fine so then I let them run the smog check and passed my car. I think that's it for me on that shop I'm done with their bullshit they've already did this to many people not just me forsure so PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP THEY'RE SCAM!!!! read more

Don't smog where they do repairs. Came in for a Smog after purchasing a used car. I waited around half an hour before they brought my car in. They took another half hour to do the actual test. I was failed due to a visual aspect of the inspection. Some places let you know that you're missing a part, especially if it's one that is in plain sight. Well I got charged 40.25 for failing. When I asked what the part was they said were unclear and said that the repair would cost 150. I did my research and the part cost 30 at most. 120 for labor.. Here's the best part, the part that I needed was a vacuum surge tank that you can literally buy and plug into the egr system. Takes seconds to install. 120 labor for that.. Unprofessional to say the least. Used to be a loyal customer for years. Not anymore. read more

I was treated offensively and judged while I waited in the office for paperwork. also during the 3-hour wait for my smog, i noticed my tire was losing air when I asked if I can borrow an L wrench since this is an automobile service station. I was told I would have to pay 25 dollars to borrow a wrench for 15 seconds. Finally, when my car was put on the smog machine they told me they were unable to test my vehicle. I was riding my bicycle down the road when my rear wheel started to get extremely wobbly forcing my chain to skip off the gear. The nut holding the wheel/axle got loose. I went in to ask them if I can borrow a 17mm wrench to tighten it so can make it home. I was turned away. I was literally told no with no reason. I even told the mechanic that he can do it (thinking liability issue) and they still said no. No to turning a wrench half a turn to tighten a nut on a bicycle. Your ethics are disgusting. read more

I was going here for 2 years because its close to my work. I went there to smog check & change engine oil 2 days ago. Suddenly my gear shift button got broke while in the shop, they said they will charge me for it. Also, they did oil change last year and now this time they can not open the oil filter because it's closed too tight(which they did it last year!!!). They said they will charge oil pan for $200!!! My company trucks were serviced here before and they do not service here anymore because of this things happen all the time here. Used to take all 4 of our family cars there, until today....I had my sone drive my 2000 Ford Expedition to the shop for a simple smog check. My son texts me to tell me he's being told it's going to be $99.00 because it's an expedition and it requires 3 tests???? I have never heard of such a thing. I call my son right away to try and understand what he's talking about, my son tells me he can ask what 3 tests are needed because he's standing at the counter. I hear my son ask " what 3 tests are needed, my fathers on the phone and he wants to know? The person answering stuffers and says " oh it's because an expedition I have to charge like it's a 2018 model. WTH, I told my son turn around and walk away he's trying to overcharge us!
