We made some great memories and would absolutely come back again!

One of the best things about SeaWorld is their annual passes, they're a great deal, especially when compared to other parks. The passes come with tons of free perks, like complimentary gifts, food trays for animal feedings, guest tickets, $10 to spend in gift shops, and even free sample food items throughout the year. We love Seaworld's Seven Seas Food Festival, there are so many tasty options to try. If you love food and drinks, this festival alone makes the annual pass worth it (and makes it so you get 18 items for the price of the $15-item lanyard). Going here with a bunch of friends and trying out all the different food options is honestly one of my favorite things to do. The wait times for rides are way better than at other Orlando parks. You can usually hop on multiple coasters without spending hours in line, which makes the experience way more enjoyable. I hate going to a park and having to spend most of my day just waiting in a line.. SeaWorld also has a lot more thrill rides than you might expect! They currently have 8 coasters and some are pretty unique. If you like coasters, I'd recommend trying Manta and Pipeline during your visit for the unique experience they offer (not your conventional sit-down coasters). The only thing that gives me conflicting feelings are the animal shows.. On one hand, it's an incredible experience to see these intelligent creatures up close, but on the other, it's hard not to feel a little guilty about them being kept in captivity and performing daily. I will also note that SeaWorld has made efforts toward conservation too... lots of mixed feelings. Overall, SeaWorld Orlando offers a fantastic mix of thrills, entertainment, and unique experiences, especially if you take advantage of their annual pass perks. My niece & I were walking around on a HOT, HOT day when we spotted the sprinklers & little water play area. We were so happy to see it! I stood there for a little while while my niece got REALLY wet. I got a little wet too,not too much, just enough to cool me down & take away some of that heat I was feeling. The whole area is so cute & really does feel like you're stepping right into Sesame Street. The colorful buildings, decor, characters,& all the little details make it feel just like the show. There are also a bunch of rides geared toward kids, so there's plenty for them to do. For me, the best part was the nostalgia. I remember watching Sesame Street when I was a little girl, so walking through this area felt like stepping back in time & bringing back those childhood memories. The opportunity to swim, relax, explore, and enjoy such a gorgeous setting made the day really special. I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

They have a convenient parking garage where the first three floors are paid parking, while the fourth floor and above are free. That was a nice bonus and made getting there easy. I was actually on my way to a restaurant, so exploring the park wasn't part of the plan. But once I walked inside, I couldn't help but look around. There were restaurants, food vendors, candy shops, drink stands, and so much more. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and full of energy. It looked like the perfect place for families, couples, or anyone just looking to spend a few hours enjoying themselves. This is a short review because I didn't get the chance to experience everything Icon Park has to offer. However, based on my first impression alone, I can definitely say I'll be back. It was filled with excitement for both children and adults, and I'm looking forward to exploring it even more on my next visit.

All three of these together took up about two hours and then we were able to go to Cafe tu tu tango to get a bite to eat. This was a great half day experience while we were visiting Orlando. There was a parking garage and parking was super easy. By that time we left around 8:30 PM there were so many cars, but when we first got there at about 5 PM there were tons of spots. They do have parking spots you can pay for in the lower levels so it seems like if you're willing to pay there will always be parking. If you want free parking, you need to go earlier because this seems to be popular for nightlife. I always appreciate when there's so many attractions together that you can walk to. This place has quite a few restaurants, some shops and the attractions all in a contained area. It was very clean and when we came, there was a huge police presence, because apparently a couple weeks before there was hundreds of teenagers that descended to the area and fought. So the place was doing a really good job making sure that everything was safe. This is a place for both families and non-families alike.

The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. My only downside to Universal Studios is that some of the themes felt outdated or just aren't favorite characters of mine. At least this helped to decrease the temptation of spending money on apparel or merchandise.

Saving a few things for when we did HHN as we knew we needed a few time killers while we waited for the staged openings of the haunts. We skipped the little kids area and Jimmy Fallon, due to lack of interest and not being geared to our age group. I'll be interested to see what they do to bring new life to this park when the Simpsons contract runs out, especially since they are closing the Animal actor experience. So that's a sizeable amount for something new! For HHN, it ran well for us. I liked that they had two houses open at 2, and then we hit some haunts as they opened at 515 or 545. Thought I will say our feet ended up killing us from having to bounce back and forth. Since where they had two haunts that felt like a long walk off to the side where one opened at 2 but the other didn't open for a little more than 3 hours after it, so made for some unexpected back tracking.

The mine cart ride was cool but about 10 seconds on the ride the music stopped so that was just a little disappointing. The Yoshi ride had a fun and air conditioned line but the ride is supposed to be interactive and me and my son's buttons weren't working. It was just a bit frustrating that each ride had a little something that was broken after having spent sooo much money. Toadstool Cafe did have a vegan meat sandwich that was delicious though and my kids loved the DK barrel drink near the donkey Kong ride.

Don't get me wrong--the level of immersion is unbelievable. But at times, you feel completely boxed in. This is definitely the park with the least space to just walk around freely. The attractions are incredible, especially Monsters Unchained. The level of detail in the animatronics is honestly astonishing. Everything is so incredibly well done that you can't help but be impressed. That said, I expected more attractions overall, especially considering the price of admission. There simply aren't that many rides, and I have to admit, I left feeling a little disappointed. Out of all the different worlds, Dark Universe is definitely my #1, followed by Isle of Berk. The Harry Potter areas are beautifully done, and Nintendo definitely has its own magic, but if I had to rank the three Universal parks in Orlando, this one would come in third for me.
