One of our springs broke, but instead of just replacing with the same springs, he figured out what our previous repair person did wrong and installed springs that were properly matched for our door size/weight. Trevor is awesome. If you have issues with your garage door, look no further. I called Trevor two days ago to look at my garage which won't close all the way without having to keep pressing the clicker about 8-10 times (keeps going up because it thinks there is an obstruction, but there isn't!) I usually get a couple of contractors to come out to give bids but this time didn't cuz I just got such a good vibe from very Trevor over the phone. He came out the next day. Very responsive and communicative. Kept in contact via text letting me know he was going to be a little delayed. When he came, he quickly gave an assessment that all the garage needed was to be "serviced up". Not knowing what that is, I was afraid to ask him the cost. The cost was so cheap. So low I didn't need to bother with other bids. So low I knew he wasn't upselling me on any unnecessary services He serviced up the entire garage...replaced/tightened screws, joints whatever. Made the garage fully functional again in under 30 minutes. He also guarantees his work for 90 days. If the garage stops working in 90 days, he'll come out and whatever I paid him would go toward the next repair. However, I don't expect any issues. Great guy who does excellent and efficient work. My experience with Trevor and Peninsula Garage Door Repair was unreal. I found my garage door broken at 10am, talked to Trevor around 11am, and my garage door was fixed by 1pm. I initially contacted Trevor for a quote since one of the tension springs in my garage door was broken, and since it's been a while since I've replaced the springs, I was also curious about the cost of replacing both springs.
