Reckless and sloppy work. Arrogant and rude staff. I was…read moreseen for a small wart that I wanted removed. The dermatologist did not use any care or protection for the surrounding area when applying the freeze spray. That is to say she did not isolate the application of the spray by using any kind of shield or limited precise applicator. She sprayed a broad area of healthy skin around the wart which is now left with significant scarring. During the examination she noticed I had a stubbed toe and a blood blister under my toenail. However, she did not recognize it as a blood blister and refused to accept it as such even after my explanation and assurance that I knew what I was talking about. She insisted that I must schedule follow up appointments so she could monitor the dark spot under my toenail. Of course I didn't waste my time and money and it went away just as any blood blister does. Also notable is how rude, arrogant, and dismissive the front desk staff are. I arrived a few minutes earlier than I was told over the phone. Upon arrival a bitter lady started berating me about being punctual and that their time is valuable. I was able to cut her off and interject that I arrived earlier than I was told to. She snapped back "Who told you?!" I answered the person who called to remind me of my arrival time. She then was dismissive about how that is a new employee. No apology for her nasty assumptions and arrogant lecture.

I thank Dr. Diamond for educating me, as an African American, many years ago, about the importance of protecting my skin with a daily SPF. A quick disrobe and an all-over skin examination with Dr Diamond's expertise and reminder to continue to wear SPF and the importance of examining any new mole growths. The check-in and check-out ladies are both very personable, as well as Dr Diamond's nurse. All set, even with my appointment for next year, unless anything arises.

Dr diamond is easy to talk to and very forthcoming with information…read more I went to 5 separate, well trained derms before finding dr diamond, who diagnosed my rare skin condition. I thank her everytime I'm there for taking the time to care. She's a great dermatologist

Diamond was unprofessional and dismissive. After 3 years, I deliberately scheduled and full mole…read morebody check, particuarly since I had previous irregular moles (fortunately benign), and she refused to provide both a legitimate explanation for her denial of my right to reasonable care and also refused to document her refusal in my medical records! Instead, she walked out of the room. This is an ethical breech and she is now reported with LARA to prevent her arrogance from future patients. She does not embody the professionalism or ethos of a doctor who cares for her patients. Would you want to trust your care to a person who knowingly violated a patient's right to transparency and reasonable care? If you look into her past record, this is not an isolated incident--this is a pattern. I would caution anyone looking for a detailed exam from a dermatologist who is professional from seeing her. My experience with her was beyond disappointing and her disrespectful treatment will not go unreported. A person's credentials mean nothing of they violate basic patient rights. I had already established continuity of care with that practice even before Dr. Abru acquired it from Dr. Kopin, so for her to suggest that I needed to come back for another visit was purely out of lining her pocket for an addtional office visit and her excuse, and the excuse of the office manager that there was a miscommunication when I schedule the exam is bs. Play the recorded call when I made the exam. No one waits 3 years to not get a full body mole assessment, particually when I have underlying skin conditions that make skin cancer more of a possibility! She didn't even have the decency, class, or professionalism to introduce herself upon entering the exam room! She may wear a white lab coat, but in my experience and opinion she does not possess the temperance of a caring (or professional) doctor. Save yourself the money and trouble at trust your life with someone who actually demonstrates consistent care of ALL patients.
