I love Penn Station! Nothing like their fresh cut fries and make-your-own Dagwood, but today's experience might have me rethinking another visit to this location. Upon walking up to the order taker, I couldn't help but notice the absolute MESS behind the preparation counter. There was food, napkins, and plastic gloves on the floor, which filtered into the dining room; currently unused due to Covid-19 pandemic. I understand things can be untidy during extremely busy times, but I cannot understand how the trash was also all over the currently closed dining room. I count two employees over the age of 18, so maybe lack of direction is the problem, but I guarantee I won't eat here again if this is the standard of cleanliness.

This location sucks! I go to penn station all the time but I live near this one so I have to come to this one often. I have picked up on the little amount of meat they put on the sandwiches. Don't get me wrong the sandwich is great but there was barely anything on the bread! Behind the counter is disgusting too.

Never again. Me and my son both got cheesesteaks, 6" for him 8" for me. His came out folded sideways! They literally folded it opposite of the way the bun should open. My fries came out just in time for dessert. The place and tables were dirty and there is white crap splashed all over the two front doors. How hard is to clean the front doors? Really

On my recent visit this store was fully staffed and busy for a Saturday. My food came out quickly and hot. I would recommend this store.

The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

We should have just left at that point but our kids were hungry. Dinner was finally served and it was good, but no one seemed very concerned about how long we waited. We asked for our check and then we were given the wrong, much more expensive check. I'm not sure if they were understaffed but the restaurant was only half full when we arrived. I wish we hadn't dropped $90 on this dinner.

The buffet was amazing. Caesar salad and potato salad were good starters. Egg casserole was so light and paired nicely with the banger/sausage. Waffle was tasty as well. Moving on to the lunch side of the buffet. The chicken fried steak was good (and I'm usually not big on that for some reason). Fried chicken was YUMMY. Mashed potatoes were so creamy. And who can pass up Mac and cheese, and this did not disappoint. Banana walnut bread pudding finished off my meal. Amanda took good care of us. Will definitely be coming back.

You enter a classy foyer to be greeted by a well dressed hostess. There are multiple beautifully appointed dining rooms. Greyhounds abound in the decor. We split a chicken salad croissant sandwich and a Reuben on rye. Both were amazingly delicious and even the coleslaw was memorable. They were packaged up so nicely, including the requested utensils (we were staying in a hotel) and handed off to me in a big sturdy shopping bag. There's a big private parking lot and a small outdoor seating area. The exterior is gorgeous too. Next time we find ourselves in NKY I am definitely making reservations here!

He brought us a menu and excitedly described the lunch options. Once we made our decisions, he brought us hot Chai tea to sip while we waited for our food. My sister ordered the lamb shank while I ordered the chicken stew. Both dishes came with basmati rice (that was brown with spices and flavor) and a salad. We thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious food. The meat fell off the bone of her lamb shank and my chicken stew was beyond delectable. At the time of this review (March 2025), the restaurant had only been in operation for about 4-5 months. So, the minimal decorations and decor are probably because the restaurant is so new. I'm sure the owners will make the place look a little nicer once they are able sustain and stay in business. Because the food was so tasty, I didn't remove one star for lack of good decor. We enjoyed our meals so much that we plan to return when we are in the area.

It was seasoned with spices so it was fragrant and flavorful. Service- They were quick and friendly. No frills. Locale- This place is a no frills hole in the wall. It looks thrown together and empty. Don't expect lavish decoration or upscale furniture. However, what you can expect is a place that is loved by the community and they have a closed off section for prayer (for my Muslim friends) they are kind and welcoming. I would 100% come visit again. Price- it's a little pricey but on average with the local market and $18 for the amount of food I got is good.
