Food is always soggy can not fallow instructions it never fails that they always mess up my Italia sub (how!?) and the employees are MISERABLE! We called ahead even though I was almost at the restaurant and it took 30 minutes to get 2 subs? We were quoted 20 minutes. The worst part though is that our subs were both soggy and half the fries were crispy remnants/half burned. So I think my food was sitting there, but they didn't bag it. Even though I was waiting with my newborn the entire time. This was what my husband wanted for his bday because our son is sick and we can't have a sitter tonight. I feel bad it was the worst penn station experience yet. Disappointing food and this location is always very slow compared to others. It's not cheap, fast, or good. Stopped by at 813 pm on a Sunday. Lights on and employs standing around talking. Pulled on door to get in, door locked. Surprised me because, the open sign was still on. Employees ignored me, so I left. Tried to call in order, but no answer. No wonder their reviews on here are not good. Terrible service, the absolute worst. I placed an online order for pickup. Upon arriving I told them I had ordered online, one person behind the counter said "we will help you down there" ( pointing to a second register) 10 min later still no one has helped me, no one has even made eye contact. At about the 15 min mark a young man finally comes to the register.... AND TRIES TO HELP THE WOMEN BEHIND ME!!!!!! it does not end there buts that enough.... I WILL NOT BE BACK. I have visited this location often, since I'm a neighborhood resident. The service the past 3 times I've ordered was horrible! Every time I order and get home, the orders were incorrect, 3 strikes, I'm done with this location. My husband and I decided enough was enough, we returned order for refund, NOT one employee asked what was wrong or if they could make it right! At point of refund they made it seem as if we got home with order and decided we didn't want it! WRONG!!! We wanted the food! It was piss poor as was the service. Was not impressed the last rime I went here but figured I give it one more shot. Service was good but I found a long hair in my fries and had the throw the fries out. About got sick because of it. I was craving a good sub and fries on my way home from work. I called ahead and placed my order. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at the drive up window 20 minutes later and rang the bell. It took a few minutes for someone to get to me. No big deal. He took my payment and disappeared. It took another 15 minutes to get my order. Apparently they didn't make it until I arrived which if they would have communicated that with me would not have been a big deal, but they just left me sitting there wondering if the forgot about me. Terrible service! Ordered online at 6:25 pm. Order was supposed to be ready at 6:55 pm. Showed up at the pick-up window about 6:58 - there were 3 cars ahead of me. OVER 20 MINUTES LATER, I finally got to the pick-up window. Then it still took another 12-13 minutes for me to get my food. I'm pretty sure they didn't even start preparing my food till I showed up at the window. 35 minutes to pick-up a web order at a "fast food" place, and the guy at the window didn't even bother to say sorry about your wait. This place tastes good if you ever get your correct order. I've had to go orders where I get home and sandwiches are flat out missing, made incorrectly, or I've had someone else's sandwich in the bag. They don't seem eager to change. These have been consistent problems for at least the past two years. This last visit today a whole sandwich was left out, one was made wrong and missing marinara sauce for cheesebread. I called for a refund and a manager laughed. The phone was handed to a general manager who was supposed to process a refund and he hung up on me. Then I get a call from the "owner" who didn't tell me his name, saying he can only issue a refund through the mail by check because I paid online. Then why did the general manager offer to process the refund in their office?! They're dishonest and rude. Don't give them your business if you value your time and money. read more

I've had problems here on a few visits. Always seems it could be a bit cleaner. Prior visits I've had complaints about portions and my order. Things like ordering a large and getting a medium sub, medium fry ordered and get a small, skimpy toppings etc. Voiced complaints to manager and received a free sub for a future visit. I used it at another location. Last night was a bad experience. While waiting in line, which was unusally slow for some reason, (order mix up from what I could tell). Things need to change starting from the owner of this place. He could care less if the food is bad or the service was poor. His attitude is well I got your money go somewhere else. The food has been going down hill for several years. I bet he makes his own sandwich or he would see some of the problem. It's funny, I got on here to say what I wanted to say, and from looking at the other reviews I'm not alone. I've been coming here off and on for years, and the employees rarely look happy. Generally they look like they'd much rather be somewhere else and only give minimum service. The prices keep going up, and the portions, especially the meat, keep getting smaller. The food is always delicious and the place is always clean. My biggest complaint is the staff. It's a challenge to call in a 'to go' order as I usually always get a busy signal. When they do answer they put you on hold. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing them a favor by stopping in. If they could fix the staffing issues I'd give them 5 stars. read more

Service here is horrible. We sure love the food but the operations needs some serious work. The cashier handled money then turned around and wrapped sandwiches without gloves or hand washing. Had they been my sandwich would have refused them. Also most recent visit noticed family sandwiches were delivered out of order. 2 of the 4 in our party served our order after they delivered to other 2 families behind us. Very disappointed tonight. I ordered a Steak and Cheese and when I arrived home it was a completed different sandwich! Chicken with mushrooms and Swiss Cheese. Definitely not what I ordered! Went in for late lunch around 2:30, no customers in the place. Woman who took my order had no idea how to run the cash register and had to have help. Once she finally got everything in the machine, I paid, she got my lemonade and then went back to sweeping the floor. No one was behind the counter. I went to the restroom and when I came out that is when the big red haired cook finally put my order slip up on the grill to start. According to the order slip it took 17 minutes to get my order! 1 star is very generous. I tried to call in an order since I had two sleeping kids in the car. Someone picked up the phone, didn't say a word, and just set it down. I waited for a few minutes thinking that surely someone will say something at some point, I was wrong. After about a five minute wait I hung up and tried to call back for the next ten minutes on my drive to them, busy signal the whole time. I pull up to the window and attempt to order and am told I have to park and come in to order since I didn't call my order in. Food is always good at any Penn Station however the service at this Springboro location is absolutely terrible. Been going here for the past few years and have been accustomed to the unfriendly staff but tonight was the final straw! I took my gf and her mom here tonight and they brought the wrong sandwich to me. Ordered an Italian and they brought me a chicken something??? Wasn't even close. People make mistakes, I get it but what upset me was how they handled it. I alerted the cashier and she showed the manager in which he simply said "just make a new one." Without even acknowledging me or simply apologizing. So I sat down and watched my gf and her mom eat there meal and 15 minutes later my sandwich came out. I paid $38 for us to basically watch each other eat our meals. When they FINALLY brought my food out I requested to talk with the manager and he never came over.
