I have been going to Penn's Table since I was a kid and it is very much a family favorite of ours (especially for my dad). The food is always great but the people and the amazingly welcoming vibes are really what makes this place special. They just reopened this weekend after a renovation and I'm not quite sure how they did it because the look is updated and they are offering some new items (including dinner which I cannot wait to try) but the place feels exactly the same in the best way! It looks great inside but we got the same warm welcome, awesome food, and comfortable laid back vibe. It's is the perfect Saturday morning breakfast spot and a true West Chester staple! If you have not been here you are absolutely missing out!

Camp family at Penn's for breakfast-

I came in with a big group 12 of what I call my kids and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. We were greeted with, "Let's see what we can do," and they truly delivered. Even when we surprised them with 3 additional guests, they accommodated us with ease. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and at no point did we feel rushed. If anything, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. A big thank you from the entire Camp Dream Catcher counselor team! lol yes after a long week of working with kids. The Torres Family,

Great little find in westchester. Breakfast was great. Eggs cooked perfectly with melted cheese on top. Loved the taste of the sausage as well. Liked the fry and cut of the potatoes but didn't like whatever seasoning was on them. Pancakes were solid and syrup was good. Wife got half chicken salad sandwich and cup of soup. She was very happy with it. We will return

This restaurant has good banana pancakes, syrup, biscuits, coffee and bacon. But the most outstanding thing about this place is the service. We had take out two times. The first time, Ryan, the owner's son, helped us. He was very friendly, and I truly believe he likes his job. He would be a good restaurant owner in the future. A week later, Maria, with the nice eye makeup, brought out the meal to us. She was also quite amiable, and offered us future food suggestions I peered into the restaurant though the window and it looked stylish. They have seats outside, which I am looking forward to sitting in when Covid is on the low side. Remember to to tip your servers when you take out, especially in this restaurant!

Went here the other day with a friend around noon and was so happy to find out that they serve breakfast all day! We are huge breakfast fans so we ordered breakfast food items even past morning time. I got the Penn's Table Favorite to try something new and it did not disappoint. Though, I do regret not getting something else to pair it up with, like some homefries or bacon. But it was delicious! Would definitely recommend. Everything was fairly priced for what you were getting, but especially for west Chester. Our waitress was super kind and attentive and I'm pretty sure she was the only server in the restaurant at the time and she was doing a great job. The inside is typical of a diner, I love how the windows bring in some nice sunlight throughout the entire restaurant. Would love to come back here again sometime soon!

A great breakfast spot in a great little town with lots of shops. If you like sausage with your eggs, their sausage links are excellent !

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.
