My mom had previously taken my daughter to this nail salon and she loved how her nails turned out, so my daughter begged me to bring her back. Unfortunately, this visit was a big mistake. My daughter had saved up money to get her nails done before school started. The lady doing her nails didn't take her time and ignored my daughter when she asked for fixes. She also called her spoiled. Little did she know my daughter saved up her own money. Which should've have mattered anyways. It's rude to say to a kid. Throughout the appointment, the technician was constantly on her phone trying to make other appointments and was also taking cash from other clients -- I'm assuming she might be the owner or manager. This felt very unprofessional and distracting. My daughter was so upset with how her nails turned out that she ended up taking them all off when we got home. I used to love coming here and would bring my daughter all the time. Unfortunately, after several visits, I've decided I won't be returning because of the inconsistent pricing. The first time, I got a classic pedicure for myself and a princess pedicure for my daughter--no gel polish or add-ons--and was charged $64. On another visit, we received the exact same services and were charged $110. That alone was confusing. Most recently, I got two classic pedicures, a full set with gel, and a simple nail color change on an existing set that had been done less than a week earlier. My total came to $200. Afterward, I called to ask how much a full set with gel costs, and I was told it's $55. Since the classic pedicures are $46 each, that means I was charged over $50 just for a color change. I didn't need a fill, reshaping, or any additional work--just a polish change. That price makes no sense. I understand prices can increase, but customers deserve consistent and transparent pricing. Being charged different amounts for the same services on different visits is frustrating and makes it hard to trust the business. It's disappointing because I genuinely used to enjoy coming here, but after repeatedly feeling overcharged, I won't be coming back. read more

My husband and I wanted to get pedicures for our anniversary weekend and decided to try out Peony after going to Elle's for so long and noticing how quickly my polish would come off. We came in around 3:30pm on a Saturday and it was pretty much empty. Service was AMAZING! The pedicure was one of the best I've ever had, they took their time with the leg massages and each step of the package we got. We got the cucumber one and it was so hydrating & refreshing. If I could give 0 stars i would. This was my second time going to this nail shop. I will NOT be back! I specifically went in and asked for dip. The lady that helped me started using the purple liquid that they squeeze out of the bottle to apply the powder to my nails. I stopped her and said is this dip because when I go to any other nail salon and ask for dip they use a clear polish to apply the powder. They never use the liquid monomer that is used for acrylic nails. She reassured me that it was dip and that she was not using acrylic. I restated that normally when I get dip they use a clear polish and she said no no it's dip no acrylic the only difference is the clear polish and that my nails would be stronger doing it the way she was doing it with the purple liquid (liquid monomer) and the powder. She gave me acrylic nails instead of what I asked for which was dip and blatantly lied to my face saying that it was no acrylic. She didn't even do a good job. I had to come home and peel the access acrylic off from around my cuticles. I will be soaking this mess off and returning to my original nail person who knows that when I say dip I mean dip not acrylic. read more

I was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon and asked if they had time for a full set and pedicure. I believe the owner was the one who said yes. However, it took about 30 minutes for me to get seated. I waited about another 10-15 minutes for someone to see me, the nail tech next to me assuming it's the owner, said someone should be with me shortly. Finally, a man walks through the doors and walks over to my station in a rush while huffing and scrambling to assist me. If they did not have the time they should have told me a better time to come back or I could have gone elsewhere. The entire time he is doing my nails he is rushing being extremely sloppy and deep sighing. I asked for a French tip and it took almost two hours. Not to mention anytime I would ask him to fix his sloppy work he would get agitated. Very uncomfortable to sit through. He poked me and I bled, I get it happens, but it usually comes with an apology. I wish I would have gotten someone else not this man who was clearly called in for back up help. Beyond disappointing, I leave to Europe for vacation this week and my work schedule doesn't allow me to come during the week now I have to find someone who can fix the sloppy hot mess they left on my nails before my vacation. There was an excessive amount of polish around my nails and hands and he attempted to take it off by digging his nails into the edges of my fingers digging into me. I even told him it's okay to just leave it and he said he has to clean it up he eventually used acetone to take it off, aggressively. Although it felt like he was rushing along the way it somehow took almost two hours. To come out the way they did... my nails feel bumpy and look awful and clunky. My pinky nail has blood under the polish and it set. I still needed a pedicure and was hesitant, but I have had previous good experiences here for their pedis and wasn't going to let the full set ruin that. The gentleman doing the pedi was nice and he did his job well. I was here from 12:45pm Sunday afternoon until 4:30pm... basic French on hands and toes. Tom did amazing on my pedicure and if I had just gotten a pedicure it would be a 5 star review. Tina was charging me out and I expressed my disappointment she took off $15 from the full set but even then I feel like it was too much for the outcome. I know she was trying to make things right, but the damage is done. I leave to Europe for a wedding Wednesday and have to figure out how to fix this shitty job before then. This is a great nail shop. I have been coming here for a few months since moving closer to the area. They are very accommodating and very good listeners. Really upset, it was like my 5-6th time here & I thought I found a nail spot I liked that was 5 min from my house. Past few times, I've had a nail lift after a week, no biggie, I normally get a fill then anyways, LIFT, not completely snap off in a day or peel off like press on. So I went on Sunday , got a fresh set, by Monday morning, my nail completely lifted off like a press on from the store, I glued it back, then through the course of taking a shower and getting dressed, two more lifted, so now that's 3, by the time I got to the place it was 4 lifted, literally didn't hurt, just felt it moving lol. The same lady who did my nails, fixed them, but within hours, same thing.. felt them moving around like as if I had on press on nails. she wasn't even trying this time, like mad at me cause her work wasn't good this time. So now let's talk about today7:45am, taking a kid to school, amazing feeling after a year, and almost to the school i ask where is my nail tip. Snapped cleanly off, didn't feel anything, pull back up to my house, it unnoticeably snapped off when i was locking my door..... now about an hour ago, I was washing a few dishes, and loading my dishwasher & two unnoticeably peeled off. Now I'm pissed. $110 for these nails which I noticed are completely cracked on the sides, so had they not peeled off they would have snapped at the tips anyways.... so now I'm stuck with this nonsense. 3 DAYS after I got them done. I usually call ahead, but today I did not..they were able to see me right away though (around 11:30 on a Wednesday) as a walk-in. I hadn't had a pedicure since January, so I treated myself to the Orange Vitamin and Collagen Spa $57. It was lovely. There were slices of orange floating around with my feet and it smelled heavenly. She later used those slices to rub directly on my legs and feet. Give yourself a good hour and a half..seems long, but so worth it. Located in a strip mall next door to Ventiane. Called and made a same day appointment. $30 Sport Pedicure is the basic choice. With the heat wave, hot rocks doesn't sound appealing and hot rocks was a component in all the other pedicure choices. I went for a different nail color than the nudes, the reds, the French tipped, or designs. We're talking neon. I felt my choice was judged. And even though the tech probably wasn't on board with my choice (without saying so), she did a good job with the paint. Cutting my nails before that though.. Sides of my big toes were clipped and that always scares me with ideas of ingrown toenails. After the pedicure, I sat at the drying station where I saw they had an ATM machine. I think they also take Visa but the ATM machine makes me question that. I paid cash. A sign where I paid read a $2 charge is added for the cost of rising supply costs. (The tech did open a sealed bag of tools for the pedicure.) This would be a nice note on the menu rather than afterward when you're paying. read more

My friend and I came and received pedicures outside since covid. The ladies were nice. We were served right away at our appointment time which is nice! The ladies seemed to struggle on our toes. I don't know if it was because it was their first time working outside and a change of environment does affect ones work ethic. I ended up telling the man who was there and he right away wanted to fix the problem without any hesitation. He ended up having to do my entire right foot again and two toes of my left foot. If you want a place that will continue to redo your nails until they are done correctly then come here. They get an A for effort.
