My nails after about a month- they lasted so long and I was sad to gave to remove them

I love this spot - they treat me so well and they were the only ones able to make my Instagram vision nails come to life! They literally hand placed each shimmer and glitter piece!

Taylor did a great job! My first time doing gel X and she converted me. I have a habit of picking my nails/nail beds and my manicure lasted me a month.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - pedicures THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off Jefferson Blvd closest to the Webster St cross street - located in the same plaza as Kabab Corner and Chevron - easily found parking (we had the first appointment when they opened on a Sunday morning); not sure how parking is during other times or other days of the week THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - clean, bright, tons of nail color options (displayed on the wall), rear wall has all the lotion and jelly options as well as hot towels and hot stones for pedicure packages - adult and children sized massage pedicure chairs - pedicure stations on one side, manicure stations on other side THE (PEDICURE) MENU: - sport pedicure - classic pedicure - special jelly pedicure - organic cucumber melon spa - orange vitamin and collagen spa - nu firewalker deluxe - add ons WHAT WE ORDERED: - special jelly pedicure (Hawaiian for the SO; milk & honey for me + gel) CUSTOMER SERVICE: - pedicures were very good and lasted longer than anticipated (loved that they took their time for a relaxing experience for us; but if you have things to do or are on a time crunch, this is not the type of place that would rush you) - the downside for our pedicurists (and the others that assisted other clientele) is that they seemed lost unless they were told with confirmation by the owner WHAT to do for their customers; the owner seemed to do quality check for each customer - my pedicurist was nice, but also didn't get any finality on when she was done with me (like telling me thank you and that the service was finished) other than her just walking away and not coming back - last minute decided to get a dip powder manicure while here as well; did NOT like the work of the gentleman who serviced me; he rushed, messed up several times, and redid several nails (the owner corrected his work as well); he did a LOT of coats and within 3-4 days there was cracks in manicure and within 5 days there was chipping - would definitely come here again for pedicures but might want select people for manicures

Got my nails done on Thursday, they started chipping on Saturday. I paid way too much for this to happen in less than a week.

The quality and service has gone down. There are very few techs that take their time and do it right. I always feel so rushed when I'm there. And I'm not a fan of getting my manicure done as I get a pedicure. It's not relaxing. Got my nails done (gel) while getting a pedicure on Thursday (8/31), they started chipping on Saturday (9/2). I paid way too much for this to happen in less than a week.

I really wanted to like this place. Employees were really nice... BUT they did my nails on a Monday (short and dipped) by Wednesday. My nails were chipping off. I was out of town. Had to wait till Sunday to get it fixed. Went to get it fixed on Sunday. Had to come back because they were busy. And by Thursday, it chips AGAIN. I've been getting my nails forever. Wanted to try a new place. I guess I'll be going back to my old place.

Such a relaxing atmosphere and the customer service is always kind and professional. Very accommodating to needs being met.

Second time coming here and I love it. They are very kind and professional. I made an appt both times and I'm glad I did. They get busy very quickly, but they do have a lot of staff on hand. Their prices are also very reasonable. I'm glad I stumbled in here one day.

I was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon and asked if they had time for a full set and pedicure. I believe the owner was the one who said yes. However, it took about 30 minutes for me to get seated. I waited about another 10-15 minutes for someone to see me, the nail tech next to me assuming it's the owner, said someone should be with me shortly. Finally, a man walks through the doors and walks over to my station in a rush while huffing and scrambling to assist me. If they did not have the time they should have told me a better time to come back or I could have gone elsewhere. The entire time he is doing my nails he is rushing being extremely sloppy and deep sighing. I asked for a French tip and it took almost two hours. Not to mention anytime I would ask him to fix his sloppy work he would get agitated. Very uncomfortable to sit through. He poked me and I bled, I get it happens, but it usually comes with an apology. I wish I would have gotten someone else not this man who was clearly called in for back up help. Beyond disappointing, I leave to Europe for vacation this week and my work schedule doesn't allow me to come during the week now I have to find someone who can fix the sloppy hot mess they left on my nails before my vacation. There was an excessive amount of polish around my nails and hands and he attempted to take it off by digging his nails into the edges of my fingers digging into me. I even told him it's okay to just leave it and he said he has to clean it up he eventually used acetone to take it off, aggressively. Although it felt like he was rushing along the way it somehow took almost two hours. To come out the way they did... my nails feel bumpy and look awful and clunky. My pinky nail has blood under the polish and it set. I still needed a pedicure and was hesitant, but I have had previous good experiences here for their pedis and wasn't going to let the full set ruin that. The gentleman doing the pedi was nice and he did his job well. I was here from 12:45pm Sunday afternoon until 4:30pm... basic French on hands and toes. Tom did amazing on my pedicure and if I had just gotten a pedicure it would be a 5 star review. Tina was charging me out and I expressed my disappointment she took off $15 from the full set but even then I feel like it was too much for the outcome. I know she was trying to make things right, but the damage is done. I leave to Europe for a wedding Wednesday and have to figure out how to fix this shitty job before then. Tina offered to fix them but 4 hours later I had no patience. To clarify Tom did my pedicure and another man did my full set not even sure if he's licensed.

    Best nail salon... hands down!

Update* It's been years later....still phenomenal work done here. Just had my favorite nails of my life done. If you're out and about and see a woman unnecessarily waving and posing her hands so everyone can see... t Let me just add my name to the list of people singing their praises about their experience. Friendly staff, PHENOMENAL service beautiful work... I'm sold. I saw Nina, she's a nail superhero and a national treasure.

I was in need of a pedicure - the ladies here were great. I upgraded to the $40 option (I think the regular is $30 maybe) and got a half hour leg/foot massage and it was great.

I've debated of writing this review for a good week... My…read moremother and I used to come for a long time then I moved out to Folsom. I recently moved back a few months ago and decided it's time to go back. Which it was great the first time I came back I got a full set and a pedicure, with French tip on my toes and hands Done very well no complaints. 2-3 weeks later I came back to get a my acrylics removed to get dip and another pedicure. And they started me in the pedicure chair and began removing the old polish from my toes. I did have acrylic on my big toes since the month before my bigger toes were too short to do French tip. I asked the nail tech that was doing my service if she could remove the fake nail and she said she'd take it off. So I waited and then she started pulling out what I think was builder gel and started applying it over the false nail on my bigger toes. I then again asked her to take it off and remove it and AGAIN she said yes she'd remove it. Not too sure if she understood but I was already an hour into my pedicure and not to mention she's burned my toes from filing with the machine, she kept digging her nails into my toes to the point where my bigger toes that she was working on was RED and irritated. She never ended up taking off the false nail as I asked her and I let it go because I I just wanted to be done with the pedicure. Mind you I got the most basic pedicure. So she laid the builder gel over the false nail and it came out crooked and then she began doing the French tip. And at this point I believe we were 2 hours into the pedicure and people who came in after me had already gotten their pedicure and nails done and were in and out before I even finished my PEDICURE. At this point they had another nail tech come over to the pedicure chair and start removing my acrylic on my hands to start that process. While they started that I then noticed that the French tip on my toes was extremely crooked and I kept telling her. I may have told her 5-6 times that I finally told her to just paint the whole nail but the builder gel she put on my bigger toes made it look extremely bulky and ugly. So I then asked the nail tech that was doing my hands if they have someone else that knows how to do French tip. I mean I'm paying for this service and tipping them very well so I want what I want. Come to find out the lady doing my toes doesn't speak English so there was no way I could communicate with her what I wanted. And the nail tech doing my nail had to tell her every time my nails were crooked and eventually she had to file one side down because the whole nail was crooked. I ended up settling on how they looked after 2 1/2 hours of sitting in the chair and my pedicure wasn't even done yet. After she finished my French tip she then began massaging my legs and unfortunately it was the most un enjoyable pedicure I've ever experienced. 3 hours sitting in a pedicure for the most basic pedicure was the worst. I ended up paying $60 plus a $10 tip just for my pedicure and $125 in total without tip. And not to mention I got dip and they ended up lifting and chipping off after 1 week... Not sure if I will ever return after that. And it's sad because I used to love and enjoy going to get my nails here done but the inconsistency sucks. And not to mention I've NEVER had fungus on my toes EVER and now I have fungus on one of my toe nails... SOO disappointing.

They are clean, even, and super flattering, and the finish is next level. The pink shimmer has this gorgeous, almost iridescent glow that catches the light so beautifully without looking over-the-top. What really stood out was the attention to detail. While the manager explained that the nail tech is newer staff, she was also apologetic for the quality of service I received. I feel that she was receptive of my feedback and heard my concerns regarding the nail shape and polish. As I mentioned, this salon seems to have a solid base of regulars. Hopefully newer staff can receive more training so that the quality is consistent and this local small business can continue to serve the neighborhood! --- My friend and I went for pedicures this afternoon. It was busy and we were walk-ins so, understandably, there was a wait. There seemed to be a good amount of regular customers, which was encouraging. My nail tech was nice and seemed to take his time despite how busy it was. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed by the quality of the pedicure. The polish is uneven both in its coverage and texture. Some nails aren't painted fully, even after I pointed them out and he went back to touch them up. Because of multiple coats (he did 2 coats of polish, top coat then more touch up polish then top coat again), the color is uneven and some are bumpy. The paint left around my cuticles is easily visible too. I wouldn't mind as much if these issues were on one, maybe two, toenails but it's on multiple and the pedicure looks messy overall. I was hoping this might be my go-to local nail spot but I'm disappointed by my pedicure experience.
