I've been coming to this nail salon for over a year, and they consistently provide such a great experience! The salon is always very clean, professional, and welcoming. I'm very picky about my nails, and I always request Selena because she does an amazing job every single time. I recently tried a new cat-eye color, and I'm absolutely in love with how it turned out! I've had my manicure done by other nail technicians there and they've all done a great job. Diane did my pedicure this time, and she was wonderful. She took her time and was very thorough, and my pedicure turned out beautifully. I highly recommend this salon, especially Selena and Diane! I always leave happy with my nails and look forward to coming back.

Nature Love salon is the only place I will ever get my nails done. I usually do my own nails or have friends do them but decided to treat myself. Brandon did a wonderful job with my pedicure. He was gentle and handled me with care. He executed the milky glazed look I was going for. Star of the show was Selena. She was lovely and sweet. She was also very meticulous and ensure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. She checked in with me every step and offered to redo if it isn't to my liking. She killed it! It's exactly what I was looking for. Light blue cat eye with tiny polka dots. Even the front desk girls were amazing. 10/10 to everyone I interacted with. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to my friends.

I booked an appointment based off all of the reviews and wanted to try a different salon as opposed to my usual one. The salon itself was nice. They do have an area that states keep your voices low which was nice. I opted for the basic gel manicure while that was lovely and got a hot stone massage with it. I did love their massage oil with lavender. They are a bit pricey compared to my usual salon, but they did take their time. I noticed the next day I had two chips in my gel manicure. I called the salon and they had me come in same day to get them fixed as I was leaving on a trip that weekend. By the time I got home, my entire left hand all the nails chipped. This is unfortunate because I did spend $70 for a gel manicure as opposed to my $45 and they never chip. I'm bummed that this happened and probably will be the last time I come in.

She took her time and would continuously check in with me to make sure the shape, color, finish are what I was looking for. The inside is so clean and peaceful. Definitely was falling asleep during my services which was a good sign. I love that they bring out fresh water bowls for the pedicures. Would attach pictures of my feet but people make a living off that so no free feet pictures, but enjoy the pictures of my hand. I believe the color was 055. I did gel for both hands and toes. Phenomenal service for both!

I finally decided to find an eco-friendly spot that I knew would take care of me. This place is not your average nail salon. It is warm, welcoming, a quiet zone and extremely relaxing. You can always tell when a salon is taken care of properly when it looks beautiful and smell smells clean! My appointment was with Tina. As someone who is hyper aware and has a hard time relaxing, Tina made sure that I took this time for myself. She was extremely attentive, checked in every few minutes and reminded me to lean back and relax. Thank you so much for a great first experience. I will definitely be rescheduling with Tina in the near future.

As a male, this was my first time getting a full manicure & pedicure in probably 7 years. One day before my fiancee and my's wedding/honeymoon to Hawaii. My fiancee goes here all the time and wanted to treat me! Mai and Hannah did my mani/pedi and they did fantastic! It was very relaxing and invigorating. The got my hands and feet looking presentable for once. My feet are pretty sensitive, and Mai did great with the cuticles and cleaning up my toes and feet without me flinching too much. Hannah worked wonders on my hands/arms with the oatmeal scrub and tea tree oil after a full manicure. If you are someone looking for a calm natural experience getting the full mani/pedi works - I HIGHLY recommend. Especially any of my guy friends out there who may be apprehensive of coming to a salon to get the works done. It was incredibly well worth it and I will definitely be back.

This salon is really nice & always peaceful and clean, with consistently good service. My partner and I started going there about a year ago, and every visit leaves us happy with the experience. Today, Diane did my pedicure, and it was incredibly relaxing. I've never left this place disappointed, and today was no different. Sandy, who works next door at the newly opened Sen Wellness House, was there promoting their new sister business, which offers a free 15-minute sound bath in the Himalayan salt room to anyone getting services at Nature Love Salon. I love sound baths, and while I appreciated the free 15 minutes, it made me want more. I definitely have to go back. The service was excellent! The staff is very sweet and knowledgeable. In response to the customer service rep: I strongly disagree with their explanation regarding overfiling. In my experience getting nails done in Asia, nail techs are extremely careful and precise. At Nature Love Salon, my tech was rough and overfiled my nails--it was not caused by previous services. I don't need a customer service rep telling me what "usually" happens; I know exactly what happened to my own nails. Do not try to excuse my claims. Their response also stated that repairing nails is an extra service requiring additional time and skill. In reality, it took about 15 seconds to apply a solution to my broken nail--hardly a special service. Their insistence on charging extra for such a minimal fix feels dishonest. While they say they "aim to provide careful and honest service to every client," my experience did not reflect this. I hope this review helps other clients make informed decisions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW: I came to this place with high expectations due to their highly regarded reviews. However, I was left very disappointed and unhappy with my service. I had my first cat eye nails done in Asia and I don't think any salon in the states will live up to the quality and care in Asia salons. Anyways, I needed my cat eye nails removed with one slightly broke nail repaired. I called in advance to inquire prices. I was told I would pay for the gel removal and the manicure. However, when I arrived at the salon, I was told there would be an extra $10 charge just to repair ONE broken nail. (FYI it took about 15 seconds to fix the broken nail). After the appointment, I explained that this fee had not been mentioned on the phone and declined to pay it. They did remove the additional charge, which I appreciated, and I still tipped well to show my appreciation. After removing the nail polish in a week or so, I noticed the nail tech over filed my nails leaving deep filing marks. She stated my natural nails were strong but thanks to her now my nails are left weak and rough. Just remember that highly regarded reviews mean nothing. Everyone's experience is individualized and I'm sharing mine. Pay attention to the low rated reviews because they are just as important. read more

Wyn was so kind and tried out many options to make sure it was what I wanted and Maria did one of the best pedicures I've ever had with them collaborating to make sure my chrome mani pedi perfectly matched. I had such a fantastic visit at Nature Love Nail Spa! Mai did my pedicure and Moon did my manicure, and both were absolutely wonderful. They were attentive, skilled, and made the whole experience feel so relaxing and enjoyable. You could tell they truly take pride in their work -- the results were beautiful and lasted beautifully. I recently came back here on a consistent basis because I was tired of the toxic chemicals of my usual nail salon and wanted to just go back to regular gel since my nails are weak. I love that they don't use harsh tools to take off polish. I had Jessica for my mani and Tina for my pedi and they both did a phenomenal job. They took their time throughout the service and did not rush the massage. Jessica especially was careful with my weak nails and gave me some tips. I paid $175 with tip included for both a gel mani and gel pedi and had the classic package. A bit pricey, but I enjoy coming here. They're friendly, keep the promised appointment time, and it's a very clean, relaxing atmosphere! read more

History

Established in 2017.

My family are in nails industry for a long time and we could not find a better environment to work for the whole family. Since I met my friend Nina who is vegetarian and the owner of an eco nail salon, I started to change the way I was thinking. Nina helped me a lot in getting business started and now I have a great environment for my whole family to work at. Since then, I know how to appreciate what Mother Earth gives us and strive to keep everything as green as possible. Eco-conscious is a way to go!

I'm currently a Sacramento State University student with Business major. I'm very excited to have this salon opened as an Eco Friendly salon and free of harsh chemicals. I think it's time to change the way we treat our environment since we have gotten alot from Mother Earth but knowing no way to give back. Think consciously is a way to go!

I scheduled a visit a few days in advance for three people and four services and paid an $80 deposit ($20 per service) via Venmo. One person canceled that morning, but I was able to switch to a different service for myself that same day vs. losing my deposit. The two pedicures were fine. They were basic pedicures, and aside from the water initially being extremely hot, I was happy with the results. Because of the deposit, there was also no wait time. The head spa, however, was a completely different experience. This was my first head spa, so I was excited and expected it to be relaxing. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The massage was brief, and despite the menu stating that oils would be used, none were applied. During the double cleanse, the technician used her fingernails rather than her fingertips, which became painful. There was also an excessive amount of cleanser, and rinsing it out was difficult. The water temperature was extremely inconsistent--going from hot to ice cold--and water got into my ear. Instead of feeling relaxed, I was uncomfortable throughout the service. Afterward, my hair was not completely dry. When I asked for serum, I was told it had already been applied, and I had to explain that I wanted my hair fully dried and soft. Another staff member eventually finished drying it, and the end result was much better. The two services totaled $138, or $158 with a 15% tip. I shared all of this feedback with the front desk before leaving. They were receptive and said they would provide additional training. I was also told that the technician was new to the salon and has some communication issues. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns, but based on my head-spa experience, I would not return for that service. *********************************************************** FINAL THOUGHTS Making a reservation requires a deposit, but it does give you priority if there's a wait. PRO TIP: I visited on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. If you're coming in solo, you can probably skip the reservation and deposit. I've had two pedicures here, and the service was totally fine. No issues at all. I also clearly saw the technicians using Barbicide to disinfect their metal tools, although I didn't pay attention to where they pulled the drill bits from. Overall, the salon is CLEAN, which I really appreciate. Personally, I wouldn't get a head spa treatment here again. I was told they're having plumbing issues because the building is old and that their plumber hasn't been able to resolve the problem. However, based on my experience, I feel some of the issues were related to the technician and not just the plumbing. That said, I'd love to hear from others who have had a head spa here. How was your experience with the water temperature? Did you have a better experience with a different technician? I'd genuinely be curious to know!

Because of multiple coats (he did 2 coats of polish, top coat then more touch up polish then top coat again), the color is uneven and some are bumpy. The paint left around my cuticles is easily visible too. I wouldn't mind as much if these issues were on one, maybe two, toenails but it's on multiple and the pedicure looks messy overall. I was hoping this might be my go-to local nail spot but I'm disappointed by my pedicure experience.

I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

You'd think a very senior citizen from the other side of the United States who found himself in Nature Love Salon wouldn't have much to say about an establishment providing people with Manis and Pedis. But that would be a mistake. Like the ones I made when I visited Nature Love on J Street in Sacramento. I wasn't entering a shop. Rather, it's a beautiful, well-designed, natural product center featuring services I hadn't anticipated provided by a staff of careful artisans who showed me how careful attention to my hands and feet would make a quick visit a memorable event. As an older diabetic, numbness and pain in my feet has been increasing for several years. I never expected that Nature Love's careful ministrations would enable me to feel far more comfortable leaving than I had been walking in. And I learned that the casual way I had been treating my fingers (and toes) left me less flexible and less agile than when I left the Salon. Maybe it was only the natural products Nature Love uses. Maybe it was the professional level skills of its staff. Maybe it was the calm and beautiful setting in browns, beiges, leather and rattan that made the difference. Whatever it was, the careful, effective, services from the Nature Love staff have put a Gold Star next to it for the next time I'm in California. read more

Best place ever! The service is always excellent and it is the only place I go to to get my mani and pedi. Ever since I started coming here, my nails have actually grown long to the point where people ask me of my nails are real. And they're strong! It makes a difference when you make healthier choices and avoid toxins and fumes. I've read up on their nail polishes and they are all toxin free. Their gel polish (bio seaweed gel) contains vitamins and minerals that promote nail growth and nail strength without dehydration and does not stain your nails. Not only that! Their himalayan salt stone massage is so relaxing. Their whole service is curated to fit an eco conscious, vegan friendly, cruelty free approach to life. From the moment I walked into Nature Love Salon, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff greeted me right away and took the time to explain everything since it was my first visit, which I truly appreciated. Ann and Helen literally gave me the best manicure and pedicure I have ever had. Their attention to detail was incredible, and the massage was beyond amazing -- pure relaxation. Absolutely amazing experience at Nature Love Salon! The nail work came out clean, natural, and flawless exactly what I was hoping for. My nails look healthy, well-shaped, and super neat, with so much attention to detail. Low quality nails for a high quality price, visited the shop and was a bit taken back by the prices but was optimistic that the service would definitely match the prices listed. Unfortunately that was not the case, not only were the nails uneven and messy but the massage and scrub services were very ineffective although they cost extra. Additionally the shop is beautiful and has a great ambiance but for the quality of service they should not only lower their prices but maybe work on optimizing their selection of nail designs and services to compliment the prices. I've found my new favorite salon. Nature Love is amazing! I went in for a pedicure today and, while a little more expensive than your neighborhood nail place, it was worth every penny. I have been coming to Nature Love for years. Have had the most incredible experience every time. The time, care and professionalism is unmatched anywhere else. It's quiet, calm and creates an environment that promotes relaxation. I recently visited yesterday and had Tina and Brandon. I loved my first experience at this nail salon. Called in to book an appointment, & the staff who answered the phone was super polite and booked me in right away ! Coco , who did my nails , I will say is also great and extremely sweet ! Not only did she do a fantastic job with my pedicure , she also treated my ingrown with delicacy and care. I am a big fan of the spa music and the clean environment. There is no strong odor of nail lacquer and the location gets really nice natural light from the windows. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! I asked if they were able to do the stars in chrome, and they said yes, but ultimately used metallic gel polish--though it still turned out great. I was serviced by Ha and I loved her! She took her time initially, making sure I liked the length and shape, but I could tell she was rushing near the end (which I understand, nail art can take a long time). After finishing the set she was filing one of my nails and it looks like she filed one a little too much. You can see the edge is filed and has no polish on my left index finger. It's only visible from the side though, so it doesn't bother me too much. The polish was also applied a little farther from the cuticle than I'm used to, so I'm a little bummed about that (especially since my nails grow pretty fast, so the grow-out is going to be noticeable sooner). The only thing I noticed that was different from other shops is they didn't spray my nails with alcohol before applying the gel polish. I thought that was standard practice, but what do I know! This manicure cost me $85. Not sure of the cost breakdown, but I know a gel manicure cost $35, I got 2 nails fixed ($5 each), and the star designs cost $30. I'm guessing the cost of the cat eye polish is $10 extra. They prefer cash tip and Zelle/Venmo for the payment, just FYI.
