I went in for a Mani/Pedi last Saturday and left in tears! The manicurist and the pedicurist got into a full blown argument. The tension could be cut with a knife, it got so heated that she packed up her desk and basically quit, all the while I kept asking for someone to help me understand and finish up my partially finished mani, which took a few tries. Finally a nice manicurist came and said she'd finish me up after her client. Meanwhile the guy doing my pedi was getting a bit aggressive pinching my heels when trying to move the , so i asked the lady to tell him to stop that. I started to get an anxiety attack and started to cry because the other lady came back and apologized to me while also crying. I was finally done then asked if because of my bad experience if there was at least a discount ? The answer was NO, so I paid and did not tip! I cannot believe the lack of professionalism there, or Management. Such an intense and bad experience! read more

Best spa in West Sacramento. New chairs bring an even nicer feel and experience to an already great place. The workers here all are nice and friendly. They charge competitive prices for the area. My girlfriend frequent this place and booked an appointment for Father's Day. They got us right in and I couldn't be happier with the services provided. read more

I got a pedicure here yesterday and overall, I really enjoyed coming to this salon. The only thing I found uncomfortable was being asked directly about tipping. When I mentioned I usually pay with Venmo after being asked "cash or card," I was immediately asked, "what about your tip?" I always tip and value the work that's done, but asking outright like that feels awkward and unnecessary. That being said, I hope this feedback helps improve the overall customer experience. read more

I thought this place was pretty good! Basic spa pedicure. Had an appointment for 11am on a Sunday - they were super busy but we didn't have to wait long. The only thing that was bothersome is - why give me the entire nail color palette and then NOT have that color I picked. She told me the color I picked was gel only - soooo wouldn't it be useful to let me know which colors are gel and which are not so then I can get the color I chose? After picking another color all was good! Friendly and efficient and clean. Thanks Palladio! read more

I returned to Palladio Day Spa today after my last gel mani/pedi in July to get my nails done because I had an event tonight and I was excited to get a sparkly purple gel manicure as I was going out to see 'Prince: Sign O' The Times' with girlfriends at IMAX and I wanted to show love to the purple one. Anyway, I'm used to the technicians here asking if they can cut my nails but I didn't want them cut today because it's weird they always wanna cut my naturally long nails, a trait my brother and I inherited from my mom, when the industry thrives off of women needing acrylics and press on nails to achieve what I can grow naturally. I wanted to rock my natural as always, so I declined. The technician then says, "It's $40 extra if you keep the length". I wasn't happy about it, but whatever. Then the host brings his ass over talmbout, "Oh I'll need to check you out now." I stood up and told him, "That's okay, I'll just leave." Of course they thought they could try this bullshit with me and then backpedaled talmbout, "It's okay, you can just pay afterwards, it's okay." I said, "Nah, it's too late, I've been here plenty of times before and was never asked to pay ahead of time and this is on top of her telling me I have to pay $40 on top of what I'm already paying just because I don't want her to cut my nails? Nah, I'm leaving." I walked right past them and out the door. I'll be looking for other salons in the West Sac and Sacramento area and I'll continue spreading this bad review everywhere for others to know. read more

I came in with 2 kids because this place was highly recommended by a close friend. Kids price are same as adults. They rushed through my kids nails kids were done in 15 minutes and mine finished pedicures in 30 minutes. Felt ripped off at $115 + $10 tip. When I was asked about tip she said is that it, or do you want to tip $10 each. Would not recommend. read more

This nail salon is clean and has friendly staff. Besides their quality work, the vast selection of colors and services, and the friendly service, the best thing I like about this place is that they are honest. I'm not a patient person and I don't like to make appointments, so I usually call salons before I walk in to check on the wait time. Other places I call say no wait and then I get there within 5 minutes and all of a sudden there is a long wait. Not here, they are honest and tell me if there is a wait or not or they offer to see me at a particular time later in the day. I really appreciate their consideration and not trying to bait me to come in and wait. :) read more

This is my second time here, the first time I came in to get an acrylic fill. Kim did a great job exactly how I wanted it, she didnt over file it from the cuticle so it doesn't look grown out. I paid $55 which seemed a bit pricey to me. Today I came in for a basic pedicure, it was $35 plus $10 for gel which came out to $50 with tip and it was super basic lol. Overall, because it's pricey it gets 4 stars, super clean place, I go in the morning when it's not busy so id recommend this place! read more

My girl Amy came through again with my latest nail design request. I was seated for a fill within 5 minutes of arriving. I usually just do a walk in and I was lucky to get Amy again. She's the best at shaping almond nails at this salon. The staff are pretty good at chatting a little to make you feel comfortable, but it's not too much. read more

I went in for a pedicure today & also got my first ever mani. The pedicure was great, but the guy that did my mani was really rough not very nice. I let him know it was my first time getting my nails done and I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted (dip, full set, or gel). I showed him a picture & let him do his thing. He was very rough the entire time and when he was using the electric nail file he cut my 4 of my cuticles & 2 of my fingers when he was filing the underneath. I let him know it was hurting me & he was being too rough I said OW multiple times & he saw me bleeding. He didn't apologize or even acknowledge me saying ow he just tried to brush the blood off. The only time he was nice to me was when he was asking if I wanted to leave a tip. For a first mani experience it was terrible. read more

Came in for pedicures with another family member, they rushed through the pedicure, didn't push the cuticles down, the nail polish was on the cuticles and even on top of a few toes. All of our toes were not polished properly. We paid additional for a 30 minute massage, and that should not even be called a massage. One of the girls was holding her phone while using the other hand to massage. It was a waste of money for sure. read more

I have never been more disappointed than I was today when I got my nails done. I came in to get an acrylic set. I was sat with a lady and she started applying the acrylic super chunky. When she was done applying my nails were super uneven. Some nails were thin some nails were super thick. Then she told me that someone else was going to finish my nails because she had an appointment. I was fine with that. The design I requested was a simple black French tip with a 3d pink flower. She tried to fix how uneven my nails were and I was grateful. But I was severely disappointed with how she did the French tip. It was nothing like how I wanted at all. She had to keep sanding down my nails to even them out, and by the time she was done my nails were short not long like they originally were. When I told her I wanted a 3d simple flower she said she couldn't do it and offered to put a gem on instead. There were hardly any gems to choose from. Overall 0/10 experience. They made me pay $70 for a mess. I will never come back to this place. I supplied pictures below. read more

Love Palladio Day Spa! Sarah did the best dip mani I've ever had! She listened to what I wanted in regard to length, shape, and color (she even took the time to add an additional layer to ensure I got the chocolate-y hue I wanted) . This mani has also lasted a full three weeks and is still going strong (I am tough on my nails and typically a dip mani only lasts two weeks on me, but so far no lifting at the cuticle line or cracks!) Sarah was quick, gentle, and was extremely attentive to detail. I will definitely be back and requesting an appointment with Sarah soon. read more

i went to palladio day spa last wednesday to have my nails done for my son's wedding. they asked which service i wanted and i chose a gel nail manicure. my thumb nail began to chip and peel of saturday, the day of the wedding. i was disappointed, but since the polish was light it didn't look so bad. however, by monday 5 days later my nails and cuticles looked like i had been digging in a garden or scrubbing floors with a brillo pad. shameful! when i went back to show them my hands, they tried to tell me it was something i was doing wrong. i explained that i use gloves while doing dishes and cleaning and that i hadn't even done much of anything since i got my nails done for my son's wedding. they still tried to convince me that i did something. then after i refused to accept their excuses, they said gel nails are not good and do not hold up!!! they told me i should have gotten the dip!!! why sell a service that you deem inadequate?? why blame a customer for poor service??? they refused to refund me and offered to redo my nails. i will never trust a business that blames me for their poor service and sells a bad service! i had the rest of the gel mess removed and left palladio with no intention of ever returning. beware! read more

Pros: Conveniently located in a plaza. Building and devises seem to be reasonably new. They accept walk ins. Cons: The salon is busy. 10 staff talked together all at the same time. You would feel you are at a fresh market or something. Too loud and too inconsiderate staff. The gentleman who did my mani and pedi, was not careful with my body, and did not listen to me. He hurt my feet in many occasions. I should have left!!! The nail polish that I asked for and showed ( nude color), resulted in peachy color. He made a mess on my toes and I stopped him from putting nail polish on my hands. He first painted my toe nails with gel and after it dried he noticed it is uneven and started to shave only pieces of the gel and only did one layer of paint in those areas. Dude, here is not a car shop, it is beauty salon! Obviously, those nail polishes are chipped! Pictures are taken exactly one week later and are descriptive. I had hoped to return. I will not. And I would never recommend this place to anyone else. read more

I have always loved Palladio. It's usually pretty busy because they are so good. I had to wait maybe 15 minutes but my nails turned out better than expected. Sophie did my nails and did such a great job. She was so meticulous. I usually just do a basic color but looked to Pinterest saw this type of design and bam. If I wasn't moving to Florida in 2 days, Sophie would be my go to but just wanted to talk her up as she was awesome and a real sweetheart! Went to a horrid place in Sac earlier in the day. Got my toes done and then I sat for 45 minutes and finally paid and left. read more

I am comming here for many years: they do a good job, I really like it But again todayI asked them if they can do the pedicure w/o any extra as my dog was in the car. Iknow I shouldnt have but she needed torun and I placedmy car under shade and w teh air cond ON. Ladydid a great job but at the moment of payment none in the register, a young female came veeeery slowly. WHY I already stated am in a hurry.... she took all of the time and asked me for the tip, I finally said $35 total. But if you run a business, you said you need to leave, and still no care? I even asked them if I can bring Bonny in but she is big. No excuses for laziness and not care for the clients read more

I keep trying again here and I've had such a bad experience. They're either super aggressive with pedicures and it hurts or they give you a terrible job on manicures. I specifically said no gel since if damages my nails, but I got it anyways. Then 2 weeks later when I take it off, I have huge dents from the drill. Why would a drill be used so hard on natural nails? Never again. Also they flagged my review for removal from Google, so buyer beware. read more

I recently went back to this nail salon being the only option near me at the time to get my full set removed. I was on a time crunch and this was the only option. I though maybe they're gotten better since the last time I came here (being 2 years ago). That is not the case. Hello Tony, Thanks for taking my call and making my wife's birthday gift a memorable one. However, I have two concerns. You may recall we negotiated a $100.00 gift certificate that included a 1/2 hour massage, leg waxing, and a manicure. We specifically went over prohibiting upgrades and it appears there is only $20.00 left for her 1/2 hour massage. My wife said she didnt ask for additional services nor agreed when offered. This appears to be an ongoing issue for the nail service industry which is why I made it a point to talk about your specific services and our strict budget. The day my wife arrived for her appointment, she felt rushed, confused, and accommodating. Staff were taking walk-ins, in a fervor, that comprised her relaxing and enjoyable experience. She was placed in a "staging area" where a triage-style holding pattern was mitigated to handle the overload. While I understand one needs to maximize staff and the onset of unexpected business spikes, there should be a flexible schedule that can absorb the influx. In closing, we need to reschedule her massage and have the gift certificate corrected to cover a 1/2 hour massage. I would have sent this email to you privately but nothing is listed on your Web site so I took this route. read more

This is my first time at this nail salon location because my usual spot was closed for Easter. I only needed to get my acrylic nails removed. The lady that helped me at the salon was very soft spoken and nice. However.. getting my acrylic nails removed here was a horror. The typical acrylic nail removal process I'm used to at every other nail salons was an acetone soak, and then removal. The lady didn't soak my nails at all, she sat me down and then went to the back to grab her little tool box. I was surprised that the tool she decided to use to remove my set of acrylics was a single acrylic nail tip. She used her acrylic nail tip and began to wedge/slide that under my existing acrylics from the cuticle end to pry my acrylic nails out. I was uncomfortable with how she was doing it so I asked her if my nails needed an acetone soak first but she said the process will take too long, and that if I did I would've need to soak it for 30 minutes. So I decided to trust the process because she is suppose to be the professional here but eventually she accidentally ripped a third of my middle finger nail clean off along with the acrylic. It was painful, and she didn't apologize at all, just gave an awkward laugh and said that my middle finger nail was very thin (but somehow my other nails are still strong?). I tried mentioning the acetone soak again but she insisted on continuing to pry the rest of my acrylic nails off with the acrylic tip. I wanted to cry but I could tell she was trying to be more careful with the rest. She then asked me if I wanted a manicure but at this point I just wanted to go home. It made me regret coming into this nail salon and I probably won't come back here again. I feel bad making this review because despite what happened, the staff here are nice. The lady really did seem sweet and nice. I just don't agree with the method she chose to remove my acrylics and if this is the kind of shortcut they take here...who knows what other questionable shortcuts they use when they perform other services. The method was painful and the process made me feel like if I wanted to remove it this way, I could've just done it myself at home but I wanted to rely on a professional. If you are looking to get your acrylic nails removed, I highly recommend you all to look for another salon instead and be sure to ask what method they use for acrylic nail removal because after this removal experience I definitely will. read more

I calendar once a month and I try to schedule it the first week of the so I don't forget. The other nice thing about them is you can easily reschedule appointments. You can schedule on line, but I prefer to call them up. You may have to wait a bit on hold, but to me it's worth it to talk to a real person. Also there are more appointment available when you call versus using the online appointment system.

HORRIFIED! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - RIPPED EYE LASHES OUT DURING WAX- UNAUTHORIZED PICTURES -RUDE "MANAGER" WHO WOULD NOT DISCLOSE HIS NAME. My niece lost her eye lashes and the manager (if it was the manager we spoke to), will not work with us to make this right. My two daughters, my niece, and I went to Palladio Day Spa to get eye lash "fill ins" so our eye lashes would look more full for my niece's wedding day. We all had our nails, toes, and lashes done and my niece had a face wax. We spent over $800.00 total. My niece told me after our spa time, that when she was getting her face waxed, she felt a tug on her left eye lash. At that point, the female who was doing the wax said, "Oh!", then continued. When my niece asked if all was okay, the female said, "yeah". Once the lashes started shedding, it was clear that the middle section of my niece's eye lashes were gone. We called and were initially given the run around, call back later, we will call you, no call, etc. When my niece finally reached someone who identified himself as the manager (HE REFUSED TO GIVE HIS NAME), she was told to drive in and prove it to him. My niece lives in Southern Cal and was here for a destination wedding. She explained politely and his response was, "why should I pay for your gas". Gee, maybe because your employee ripped her eye lashes off her eye lids? He also questioned why she "bothered" to have her eye lashes "extended" if they were fine to begin with. Again, we had them filled. We were not getting extensions. Today, the manager stated that the female who performed the wax, took an unauthorized picture of my nieces lashes after they were filled in and they look fine. The mind reels here... First, of course they will look fine. They were just filled in. Second, Palladio Day Spa takes unauthorized pictures of you when your eyes are taped shut for the lash process. Be warned! While we all liked the female who did the lashes, these employees need to understand that men like this, whether he is a manager or not, will lose business for them. Terrible customer service. Rude. I will tell everyone I know NOT to use their services. We are now going through the better business bureau and small claims court. We are also checking on licensing for this facility. read more

I should have read the reviews before I went to have highlights and hair cut at Palladio. The attendant took approx 1 hour to place the foil for the high lights and then she had me wait another 45 minutes before she came back and washed the dye out of my hair. While she was washing my hair she asks me if I wanted to dye my hair....bells should be ringing....when I was back in the chair I saw why she mentioned the hair dying. The highlights which should have been a brown were bleached blond and every color in between. She applied a toner which changed the color to light red to blond. By this time I had been there for 3 hours and need to get home. I came back the next day with the intention of having my hair dyed one color and get out, but they had another person who knew what she was doing so I had my hair highlights and dyed. She only did 2/3rd of the hair ( the lady the day before did all my hair) and at the end I could live with the color. When I got home though I noticed that the highlights from the first day were very much in existence under the top layer of hair color. I am now limited to the hairstyle I can wear. read more

I was very happy with my visit here! I actually found them by looking here on yelp. Im glad i decided to go in there. The environment was so relaxing. The staff took good care of me while I waited. The receptionist offered me a drink and I got to sit back and sip on a nice cold Ice tea while i waited for the Hairstylist to be done with her appointment. I didn't have to wait long either which was amazing. Lisa was my stylist. I had never got may hair done here before but lisa made me feel very comfortable. I told her how I wanted my hair cut and showed her pictures of styles I really liked. She was a very professional and patient with me. She had a great personality and I was able to talk to her as if i had been coming to her for years. Her service was wonderful, and I absolutely loved me hair!!! I will defiantly be back again, no doubt about that, and i plan on recommending this place and Lisa to all my friends! read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I went here to get acrylics and the entire time the lady basically abused my hands. I left with multiple cuts, crooked nails, thick amounts of dip powder (which wasn't clear / it was black) and i asked for normal clear powder with black polish. After buffing my nails very aggressively, the woman did not dust them and immediately put a clear coat, leaving me with spots of powder everywhere. I complained to the manager and still ended up paying 80% for the nails I got. I do not mind paying for supplies used, but with nails THIS bad, they could have tried to fix them. The woman also kept switching the dirty drillheads back and forth with another nail tech the whole time without cleaning them. With the amount of cuts I have, i also probably aquired a disease due to unsafe practices. Honestly this place should be shut down or at least put under new management with new CERTIFIED employees. read more

Great place to go for nails in West Sacramento, nice looking inside, professional staffs. They offer you drink ,(not every nails shop in town does it).You always been welcome from the manager and staff.The price are reasonable, pedicure start from $20.00 , basic manicure is $15.00 , dipping powder: $30.00 with a ton of colors, eyebrows wax is $10.00 ,they can do all kind of nails set you ask for. They been using new liner for their pedicure chairs to each client , new seal bag of file ,buffer, scrubber are used for each pedicure, that is much more safety for people to avoid the disease transition . So my third time returning to this place and boy was I disappointed smh the lady who did my nails third table right hand side from the front had me so upset. First she kept complaining that my hand wasn't relaxed every five minutes (I have carpal tunnel) secondly she was on her phone the entire time (so unprofessional) lastly she suddenly says " I'm tired I been filing nails all day" mind you I'm wanted a design on my nails. it's great when there is a new and clean salon opened in west sac,i have waited long time for that.they did great jobs,they sanitize all tools after each client,not a whirpool spa ,they make massage chair with a fabulous sink,no jet,no drain,no bump, so the fungus or dirty stuff can't get in your feet ,that's good for ur heath,the staff very friendly,they serve you very well,they offer drinks free like water,ice tea,hot tea,...,they also do massage,facial,waxing,i like the way they set up the room for those.they do almost every thing here,i really happy when they open. read more

Since I was a walk-in and wanted to get my nails done, I agreed to add gel as well. The only positive thing I can say is that the manicure tools came in a sealed, sterilized package. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was very disappointing. The towel on the table was clearly not clean or fresh. I expected a clean towel for every customer, not one that appeared to have already been used for someone else. I had removed my acrylic nails a few months ago and had not had a manicure in a long time, so my cuticles were hard. Instead of using a cuticle softener or allowing my hands to soak long enough to soften them, she forcefully pulled at my cuticles. It was painful and very uncomfortable. Her customer service was very poor. She handled my hands very roughly, almost tossing my fingers from one side to the other. Throughout the appointment, I remained polite, but she made no effort to be friendly or provide good customer service. The worst part happened at the end. My hands were covered with nail dust, but instead of properly cleaning them or wiping them with a warm towel like other salons usually do, she applied lotion directly over the dust. I could clearly feel the particles being rubbed into my hands, which was very unpleasant. She did not even ask me to remove my watch and continued moving my lotion-covered hands back and forth over my watch. At the end, I paid in cash. While counting the money, she said, "Let me see," as if she was checking whether I had paid correctly. Because I was unhappy with the service, I decided not to leave a tip. She then loudly repeated, "No tip? No tip?" in front of everyone there. I found this behavior extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Because of the rough treatment, poor service, lack of professionalism, and inappropriate comments about tipping, I cannot recommend this nail technician.

I have been here about five times now. I've gotten dip manicures with Hailey. And I am beyond…read moredisappointed in the low quality of her work, how rude she is to customers, and how much she rushed through each appointment. Every single time I've gone I've had to go back every other day for two weeks because the nails begin to chip and break within only a few hours of leaving the salon. I've put so much of my money and my time into this place and I just have reached my absolute limit. It was my birthday last week and not only did Hailey chose to rush me and gaslight me the entire time during the appointment on my birthday, but my nails began to chip and break immediately. ALSO, they did not offer any kind of birthday discount (like every other salon does) and charged me full price and I still tipped 20% on my birthday. We rescheduled an appointment for me to come in at 1:30 PM for her to fix them. I was 5 minutes late due to my dog having diarrhea, but When I came in, she was about 15 minutes into a pedicure -- so clearly she had no intention of keeping my appointment or making sure that my appointment was started on time. Every single nail tech at that salon kept telling me oh just one more minute just one more minute... EXCEPT Hailey who outright ignored me and acted as though I wasn't even there. Finally at 2:25P -- an HOUR later-- my appointment finally started. Hailey did not speak a word to me. She didn't make eye contact with me. It was so weird and so unsettling and rude. When the abuse and torture was finally over, I thought it would be the right thing to do for me to at least offer her $5 even though this clearly should be a free appointment AND she had even told me while doing my nails on my birthday "if they chip you just come back and I fix for you" -- I thought it was so weird that she said that in the middle of doing my manicure as if she anticipated they would break because of how low quality her work is. Anyway, I offered her the $5, she grabbed it from me and just walked away. She did not say thank you. She did not say no I cannot accept that. She literally just plucked the $5 bill out of my hand and walked away. I was absolutely shocked at the greediness. I don't even know why I continue to go back here or to tip them 20%. I guess I've just been hopeful that they would improve - but nope. I will not be going back ever. coming as no surprise: my nails began chipping and breaking within 2 hours of this second appointment to fix the problems from the first appointment. I let them know that I do expect to be fully refunded (including BOTH tips) or I will be calling the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU to report the salon. I am convinced now this place is a SCAM. Keep your money and your sanity -- go to a different nail place where you will be treated with respect and get work that is equal in quality and value to the amount they are charging you-- whereas Blooming nails will just outright OVERcharge you without a second thought. They do not care about their customers. They only care about the money.

The removal itself was fine as was the manicure but the lack of professionalism and cleanliness here is a deterrent.
