Updating from 3 to 4 stars- Since my review yesterday, communication with management has been timely and professional. While the manager explained that the nail tech is newer staff, she was also apologetic for the quality of service I received. I feel that she was receptive of my feedback and heard my concerns regarding the nail shape and polish. As I mentioned, this salon seems to have a solid base of regulars. Hopefully newer staff can receive more training so that the quality is consistent and this local small business can continue to serve the neighborhood! --- My friend and I went for pedicures this afternoon. It was busy and we were walk-ins so, understandably, there was a wait. There seemed to be a good amount of regular customers, which was encouraging. My nail tech was nice and seemed to take his time despite how busy it was. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed by the quality of the pedicure. The polish is uneven both in its coverage and texture. Some nails aren't painted fully, even after I pointed them out and he went back to touch them up. Because of multiple coats (he did 2 coats of polish, top coat then more touch up polish then top coat again), the color is uneven and some are bumpy. The paint left around my cuticles is easily visible too. I wouldn't mind as much if these issues were on one, maybe two, toenails but it's on multiple and the pedicure looks messy overall. I was hoping this might be my go-to local nail spot but I'm disappointed by my pedicure experience. read more

Wow these people love wasting your time. I read one of the other 1 star reviews and the same exact thing happened to me. I coordinated an appointment time with them through Yelp, showed up at that time. One lady turned around and asked "do you have an appointment?" I said yes, so she said, "ok you can sit." I sat, waited and watched. They looked fully booked with no real chance of getting to me but also not telling me that. Just when I thought I would be up next, the lady moved over to another client already in a pedicure seat and said sorry for the wait. That was enough for me to know this isn't happening anytime soon. My experience with them this time around wasn't the best. But the fact they reached out to acknowledge and apologize means a whole lot to me. Even though the experience wasn't how I hoped, their customer service and ability to handle feedback made me feel better as a client. Thank you. _________________ So, I came in today around 11am for a matching French tip set for both of my hands and feet. When I was seated, the lady in charge of my pedicure claimed that she was unable to do a French tip due to my nails being "too short" and that the polish choice of mine was too light. So I ended up doing a regular polish of that instead. However, during my pedicure they immediately gave me a pillow under my arms to start doing my hands. They didn't ask prior if I wanted both services done at the same time. I felt very overwhelmed. The lady who did my fingers said something in Vietnamese in a very rude tone. I'm not sure what she said due to the language barrier but the lady doing my pedicure and a different nail technician beside her looked at both of us uncomfortably. I felt very overwhelmed and humiliated in that moment and proceeded anyways. Once the pedicure was done, I was moved over to fully do my nails. The lady who did it was in rush. As shown in the photos, she over cut one of my cuticles and over filed my pinky which were open wounds. This was my second time here. My first experience with you guys was amazing. Loved coming to Oasis. Went with my bff and my daughter and we waited just a few minutes before we were sat together for pedicures even though they were so busy. We all had great experiences with our techs and my daughter felt heard about her nails (she wanted them long which is odd for a 8 year old but what can ya do?!). I was impressed how they handled the large volume of customers and how i could tell a lot of them are returning customers with preferred techs/relationships. My nails are Gel-X Almond Shaped(Medium Length) with neon glow in the dark flames over purple and black cat eye! $90 for just 1.5 hours for a full set, the cat eye magnetic polish was a cool process to watch for the first time! The salon is well maintained, staff very friendly as well! Chop shop pedicures. They don't refuse anyone who walks in, they just make the service quick to get the turnover. I spent 80 bucks for 15 minutes of a "deluxe" service, with GEL. Went in for a Gel-X manicure (soak off old set and then put new set) and they did amazing as usual !! There was a rude customer who started demeaning another one of the staff members, "I've never been treated like this in my whole life," over a color mismatch that she didn't notice when she agreed to the colors, but the staff handled it as professionally as possible. Unfortunate that some people can treat service workers like they're less than human. Despite this, the staff present were very professional and focused, regardless of the scene she was making. I did a Yelp search for a dip powder French manicure and I ended up at Oasis nails on Freeport Blvd. Oasis insider new management and is a woman owned business. I was able to get a manicure as a walk in client, which was nice, but I do recommend making an appointment,ent as this place gets super busy. The parking in front of the store is scarce so if you drive past the parking lot and turn down the side street, Argail Way, along Starbucks there is plenty of street parking available. Be mindful of the parking sinage which has the time limits listed. Overall my experience was relaxing and I was delighted with my finished dip powder mani. Had called and set an appointment the morning of for 2 pedicure. This was our first time there. We walked in we got greeted right away and was told to wash our hands and have a seat and would be a few minutes. My daughter and i got the deluxe pedicure. Plus, gel and chrome application. The pedicure was done by Candy who took her time and did a great job. The seats were clean and spacious, plus they were massage chairs so I got a nice rub while I got my pedi done. I've recently moved to the area and found this gem of a nail salon on Yelp. Amazing service! Called in for a same day appointment, was able to be seen within the hour. Spa is extremely clean and very well maintained. Originally wanted to try builder gel, however they were able to do Gel X and it was the fastest application process ever. My nail tech was Stephen and he was extremely gentle and meticulous with my nails, making sure they were perfect. I was in and out of the salon in an hour! Myself, my mom and my 2 daughters went to oasis this past weekend. My teenage daughters got their nails done(full acrylic sets) and my mom and I got pedicures(2nd from the highest option with regular polish). The shop was clean and customer service was really good. All of the staff were really nice and fun to be around. Both of my girls loved their nails. My mom and I also loved our pedicures. They really take their time with the pedicures, pay attention to detail and make sure you're comfortable. Depending on which pedicure you choose, they also serve you a mimosa, if you'd like it. I don't get these services done often so I can't say if pricing is lower, normal or higher than average, but it was definitely worth it for us! ($240 for the 4 of us). But when I go in and show you a video of exactly what I want and you say yes you can do it then don't have the proper color or skill set then just say you cant! Over promising and under delivering is rampant in nail salons and people would be much happier if you were honest and said things like "no we cant achieve that because we don't have those products" or "it won't be those colors" then you set the expectations to where they need to be for your customers not to be disappointed when they leave. This is a case of what I asked for vs. What I got. The lady who did my nails worked hard and I appreciate that, but as you can see its not the minimalistic look I asked for. I still tipped because she worked hard but left and went and got them taken off the next day. If you cant do something then just say no because now I'm out $90 and had nails I didn't like. Now before you say "why didn't you tell them when you were there" because they were done and I was already there for 2 hours plus I didn't care to hear anyone talking you know what because they didnt come out how the picture was. I needed a pedicure and decided to try somewhere new. Since it was the same distance as another new spot in Woodland, I decided to go to Sac. I am very pleased with the service. I called to schedule an appointment for 3:30pm. I arrived about 3:15pm. When I walked in I was greeted right away, went to wash my hands and was seated in my pedicure chair. By far best pedicure I've had, worth the price. I spoiled myself with the most expensive one. The chair gave a great massage. Tara is the first person I've ever had do my toes that gave me what I wanted, she asked what shape vs just clipping and going for it. Without telling her she removed the skin where the shoes rub on my toes, best white polish paint job I've had. Isn't streaky or anything.
