I had such a great experience at Peoples Hair & Beauty Supply. I originally stopped by on my own while visiting my daughter who lives out of town, and from the moment I walked in, the owner provided amazing customer service. He was very kind, personable, and took his time explaining products, making sure I understood what would work best not just for me, but also what was safe and good for my kids. Because of how welcoming the experience was, I came back again with my family my mom, my grandfather (my Pawpaw), and my daughter. The owner shared that he gives credit to his wife for opening the business, which I loved hearing, and he also mentioned his background in Veterans services. That instantly created a connection with my Pawpaw, and it honestly turned into such a special, memorable moment for our family. You could tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in his business. The service was excellent, thoughtful, and unhurried. We looooooved it! It is pretty much the only beauty supply in north county that carries a large selection of products for Black and mixed hair. I use to have to drive to San Diego to pick up supplies for ethnic hair. But they carry such a huge selection of products and items like jewelry and accessories that are for black clients. And they have a huge selection of wigs for everyone, some look so natural. Plus you can't beat the service, whether it's the father or the son, they greet you with smiles and if you have questions they will stop to answer them. And if you're not black or mixed, guess what they carry products for all textures and hair types. So go in, you will leave with a smile, and content. My family and I walked into the business by chance. I had googled a beauty supply in Escondido and saw that we were fairly close to this location. I arrived and initially I was hesitant to even get out because I saw a male worker and I didn't think he'd be able to offer me black hair care advice. I know now this was the owner. I was beyond excited when I saw the array of supplies and wigs they offer. The music was Christian based, his demeanor was professional and happy. He and my husband talked the entire time I shopped and it was beautiful- shopping for a wig in peace. What a delight. After visiting all available wig stores from San Diego to Temecula, I was exhausted about to give up on finding my first wig with the right color, cap design and style. I was absolutely delighted and a bit stunned with the array of selection of beauty supplies and wigs. I arrived about an hour before they closed and I was worried I wouldn't be given enough assistance to make a decision in time before they closed because they had quite a few customers coming and going, but I was wrong - the sales woman was so patient, and professional, and instrumental in helping me choose a wig just right for me and I actually walked out with my wig and several beauty products I had looking for but had not been able to find.
