If I could select no stars I would! Absolutely the worst service you could imagine. I have given them the benefit of the doubt, last time I came in without a an appointment and they said it would be 2 hours for a tire rotation. I had my wife pick me up and after 2.5 hours later I hadn't received a call saying my truck was ready. I asked my wife to drive me back- my truck was in the same location I left it... are you kidding me? This was after paying $1799 during my last visit here for new tires, brakes, etc. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. Never did get my tires balanced and rotated. So... this time (shouldn't have given them a second chance but the rotation and balance is supposedly free because I purchased my tires from them) I scheduled an appointment 4 days in advance. Well... I arrive on time, the counter guy says they are double booked but since I'm there first he will get me right in- should be done in an hour, he will call me when ready. I decide to grab lunch... An hour goes by... No call, I walk back over and surprise, surprise, my truck is still parked where I left it. So I wait for the counter guys to get off the phone... A mechanic walks in while the guy is still on the phone- can I help you? Is my truck ready? He walks into the garage and comes back to tell me that the work order was never given to anyone (meanwhile the guy who wrote me up is still on the phone). What do you mean they didn't give it to someone? Told I need to speak to the guy who is still on the phone- ahh! Ok, counter guy finally gets off the phone- hey you said you were going to get me right in... It's now 70 minutes from when I dropped my truck off. Nothing- just a blank look. I need to speak with the Assistant manager I'm told, he is the one who had the guy who came in after you get his car on the lift before yours. Assistant manager "apologizes"- me, are you kidding. I set an appointment, I'm here first, 75 minutes later and no one has touched my car. I get a "I'm real sorry". Absolutely horrible experience.... I call Pep Boys corporate to complain... wait on hold for 10 minutes, lady finally takes my complaint- never apologies. Asks me the same questions over and over again- as if that's going to make me feel better. Finally tells me the store manager has 48 hours to respond to the complaint. Have a nice day sir... Don't do business with this place- worst service experience in my life! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE. We returned some snow chains that we never use. The employees were rude when we asked to return something. The manager told my wife that she needed to pay attention to the policy because "some" items may be subject to a restocking fee. However, they don't specify so it's a very subjective policy. Also the receipt does not state anything to that nature. We will shop elsewhere next time. read more

Bought a new battery for $170.00 from Pep Boys right before a trip and they sold me a battery that wouldn't hold a charge and then refused to take it back. So I left it with them and had to dispute the charge on my credit card. Very poor customer service. They said they could let me know if it fit their company policy the next day. So no accounting for a truck with no battery and lost work time. Cheaper to go somewhere else and buy another one. Will never shop there again read more

I'm always a little suspect of the chain service centers and this experience reinforced my apprehension. I brought my car in for brakes after making an appointment for a Saturday morning brake job. By 5:00 PM, I hadn't heard a thing and called to follow-up on the progress. I was told by the manager that they hadn't gotten to my car and that they wouldn't have a price for me until they could call for pricing in the morning. I asked for a ballpark and was told that I needed to replace all the components for around $1,200. Needless to say, I was more than irritated and called the next morning to pick-up the car. I told the same manager of my disgust and all he could do was shrug it off and muster a lame excuse about trying to call me a few times, but couldn't get through (even though I left a number with voice mail and had no messages). Bottom line, the dealer replaced the pads, resurfaced the rotors and completed the work for less than $250 in half a day. Pep Boys' previous service manager was open, honest, straight forward, and a real help. Their new service manager isn't and I was left with a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

Can I give the garage no stars? I took our car in to get checked for brakes. I am a woman and did not let on that I was "attached" at all. Adam had them look at the brakes and seemed quite giddy when he showed me the repair list that was needed- to over $1200 I then asked him to explain these repairs to my fiance on the phone- and he got very nervous and seemed surprised that I had a man involved. We didn't trust him, so we took it home and consulted with a friend who did the work- for a total of less then $100 for parts. And one part that Adam said needed to be replaced for over $350- turns out it was "frozen- only needed some lubrication- for less then a $1. I don't remember the last time I felt so taken advantage as a woman. or as a human. I thought that one place I could be treated fairly and justly was at a national chain like Pep Boys. Alas- I should have known- it's not going to be called Pep Boy and Girls any time soon. read more

No Customer Service! I made an appointment for an oil change specifically asking for a time when they are not overbooked. The guy on the phone assured me it would be done in 30 min. My son took the car in. 55minutes later he checked on the status only to be told that they are just about to start on it. One hour and 40minutes later it was done. We called to find out what the problem was and received no apology, no discount. Basically they pride themselves on getting the job done in 30min. regardless of how long the customer needs to wait. read more

I bought a wiper blade here and when I went to pay for it the cashier said to me with a smirk "just one?". I just smiled and told him there is only one wiper on the rear of my wife's SUV. Another time, I bought wiper blades for my car. Twice they looked up the part in their computer and twice they sold me the wrong ones. Each time I returned them, the cashier seemed annoyed that I was returning something. The third time, I looked up the part myself and got the right ones. My third and final experience with these morons, I bought a brake light bulb and again they gave me the wrong one. Returned it and didn't give them a chance to screw it up again. read more

I went in to Pep Boys in Encinitas to inquire about an oil change. I had just left the BMW dealership feeling slightly disappointed with their prices even with having an older BMW! When I walked into the pep boys service department I was greeted by the manager Felipe. He immediately assisted me and inquired about about my visit. I explained that I needed my vehicle serviced and he began to get my vehicle information so that he can best provide me with more information and prices. Felipe advised he was able to take my car in and gave me a very reasonable time for my car to be picked up and also a very reasonable price. After an hour and a half having showed up with no appointment, I paid $75 dollars instead of the $240 the dealership had quoted! I also didn't have a 2 day wait and a rental of $50 per day that BMW had suggested! Pep boys under promised and over delivered! I will recommend my friends and family!! Thank you Felipe service manager and his team for fast, friendly, competitive service and the matching of jiffy lube (that offered no warranty on work!) I will see you after 3000 miles! read more

It is crazy to think in today's economy and so many options out there, that a major corporation has such poor customer service, and an inability to reach anyone at a level higher than the store or Regional Director to discuss. Here is my story... On the way home from picking up my car at Pep Boys for an unrelated issue, my car died. Pep Boys towed it back to the shop. Upon inspection, I was told I needed a new fuel pump ($750). Within 2 days my fuel gauge was not working. I brought it back to PB and they replaced the fuel pump again, thinking this was the issue. However, it did not address the problem. I was then told the two were not related (fuel pump and fuel gauge). It was explained I needed to take my car to the dealer for a diagnostic, and if they said the two were related, PB would pick up the bill. The dealer identified the two were in fact related, and PB said they would fix the issue. The dealer had explained tto PB the issue was not the fuel pump, but the sending unit, and had noted this in their diagnostic. When I brought my car back to PB for the 4th time (not including the trip to the dealer), I was told they were going to replace the fuel pump AGAIN. I explained how I didn't understand why I needed to waste my time and inconvenience or why they needed to waste their money and labor time attempting to fix something that was not the identified issue. There was such arrogance with regard to the issue, regarless of the fact the dealer told them the pump wasn't the issue. This was the step I was forced to accept. That trip required my car for 8.5 hours with no communication in between to discuss what what happening. When I picked up the car, guess what? Replacing the fuel pump didn't fix the problem with the fuel gauge...go figure?!?!?!? I was told I might need to take my car to a master technician in Escondido to fix the problem. Mind you, this is over 30 miles away, and they do not offer a shuttle service of any kind. It was also explained that they needed to watch their costs, and is why someone within the company may have to take care of the problem vs. them paying the dealership. I was told if the expense was too high that I may need to pay the bill and submit for reimbursement. Their problem over and over again, though I was supposed to be inconvenienced AGAIN. Have I mentioned I am a single mom with a 7 & 9 year old?? Throughout out the entire experience I have been treated with such a lack of concern with an attitude of arrogance. Never has there even been an apology, or any kind of consideration for the number of times I have gone out of my way for their issues. In fact, instead I was told "Sorry this isn't going the way you wanted." I hope the fact that I am a woman they didn't feel they could continue to treat me with such a lack of respect, and as if I had no clue as to what I was saying or doing. Not the case. Now let's discuss the customer service team at 800PEPBOYS. All very helpful...thank you. HOWEVER, no one has been able to get me to anyone further than a store level. The day I opened a case, I was told I needed to wait 48 hours to escalate the case. I explained that I had already given the store ample opportunity to rectify this problem, and I needed to speak with someone at a higher level. I was told an email was sent to the Regional Director separately from me opening a claim with the request to contact me. In a response email, even the RD stated he instructed the store level how to handle it. Sorry, but you cannot just sweep issues under the carpet. Customer service had documented all of the issues, therefore the RD would have seen the service I had received to date, yet there was no concern. When I have attempted to call to speak with someone at the corporate office, it requires you to have an actual name of someone vs. being able to speak with an operator who might be able to direct you to the proper person. Pep Boys has a system that blocks the customer to deal with anyone higher than the store level or a customer service representive office with the highest person being a customer service supervisor who is not even at the corporate level. Athough many issues have arisen from the beginning of this process, that have gone unmentioned, I want everyone out there to know the type of service I received from Pep Boys. 1. I was lied to numerous times by the service manager, and the communication has been horrible every step of the way 2. I was treated with arrogance and given a runaround during visits and conversations 3. Pep Boys has a system that blocks you from talking with anyone at a level higher than the store 4. The Regional Director, knowing all of the issues, has not responded to my requests in 5 days now It is crazy to think there is no one available to discuss these issues with higher than the people who created the problem or someone who does not have any type of authority to rectify the issue. One recent Saturday morning I could not start my car. I called a service to jump start it and was told that if I drove it for 20 minutes the battery would charge. I left the car running for a few minutes and then drove to my all day seminar, about 20 minutes away. When I arrived, the battery died again. After the seminar ended, a fellow participant gave me another jump start. He mentioned that I should go immediately to have my battery checked, and suggested Pep Boys in Encinitas (near my house as it turns out). He said: "they will treat you right"..By the time I arrived it was almost 4:30, my car had dies again and the store was busy. However, they tested the battery almost immediately, and found it needed replacement. Then, they checked & found they had one battery in the size I needed. However, it would take a few hours, as there were some cars ahead of me. I was very relieved, and walked the 1 1/2 miles home. I was home only about 1/2 hr when I received a call. Someone had stayed late to replace my battery, I could come and pick up my car! I was treated with great courtesy throughout. They did indeed, treat me right. Thanks!! . read more

These guys are awesome. We took our car in for simple servicing - oil change, check fluids, rotate tires. We also asked them to look into a potential fan belt that might be loose or need replacement. 45 minutes later our car was ready. They didn't try to sell me a new belt or anything else. The guy at the front desk was friendly and answered any questions we had. The mechanic came out and told us that the belt was fine. We got store credit for the retail store too. The guys in that store are really knowledgeable and courteous. You explain what you need to them and they find you the exact product you need. If you aren't a car expert, they patiently explain things to you and don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. read more

Not once, but twice they tried to get me to get the wrong antifreeze. I told them each time I needed the green/ yellow type. I was lucky and noticed the first time that it was blue. When I went to exchange, the associate brought a bottle up and when I questioned the color he said it was the one I needed. It was obvious the color was red. I repeated that I said I need yellow, that's what is in car and they cannot be mixed. Ladies beware of this, it can end up costing a lot of repair. Don't trust this store. read more

I went into the store today looking for a specific tool that was not on the display shelf. I had already been to other auto parts stores to try and locate the tool but nobody had it. An employee named Mark, tried to help but was unable to find it in the store. As I was leaving, he came back and stopped me saying he found the part in a different part of the store. this visit started with a less than a 2 year old battery - i''m guessing these guys sell cheap batteries because i wasn't the only one in there with a dead battery - luckily both of us were still under warranty. When i initially picked up my car (because i needed it over night) they had blown some fuse and my a/c and radio no longer worked - at least they found the fuse and replaced it. The real problem came in when i needed my brakes done - they did the brake inspection - said i needed new rotors too - ok- but they couldn't get rotors in stock for 5-7 days, so i went to napa auto parts and bought them there and took them back to pep boys to have them installed. dropped off my car when they first opened, at 3pm they called and said that their key for their brake job machine is broken and they don't know when it will be fixed. hmmm why didn';t they know this at 8am or even the day before when i arranged with them to bring in my car at 8am the next day. the entire time it really seemed like they could not be bothered with doing a brake job on my car - maybe because i didn't have an appt. specifically for a brake job - as i was in there for a battery and overall inspection. too bad for them for losing business i guess - i'm sure they don't really care but.... i will not go back to this place and the next battery i get won't be from there either. should have listened the the reviews on here previous to mine - would have saved me a lot of time. read more

I needed to get the rear hatch struts replaced on my car. They ordered the parts and I made and appointment for noon the next day. I got there on time and waited while one of the guys waited for the other guy to be finished looking something up on the only computer that would check the other waiting customer out for her work done. Then it took a few minutes for the original guy to find my appointment. I was told it would take about 30 minutes (original estimate was 20 minutes). I told them I had another appointment at 2:00pm but an hour and a half should be okay and I went to wait. I sat in their gross waiting room (I was on crutches so I wasn't going too far) and waited while watching TV. I gave them 45 minutes and went back into the other room and my car had never been moved. The guy was still looking at the computer. He saw me and his eyes got huge. Then he looked out in the garage, back and forth. A mechanic came in and handed him some paperwork so this guy asked if he could work on my car. You could see the mechanic was not happy but he asked him where the paperwork was. The guy had never sent the order into the garage area. So the mechanic goes looking for the struts in the store for a few minutes and comes back empty-handed. They finally found them in the garage. He moves my car into the garage and starts trying to get the old struts off...and can't. I watched him stroll back and forth getting other tools that, in each case, ended up being another version of a hammer while he tried to unscrew the struts. Finally, they come back in, tell me that they're frozen on there, and now they're stripped to the point they can't even get a hold on them, so they are just going to give me my paperwork back and "let me go." It was 1:35 at that point and I had to be at my other appointment so I just took my key and got a pathetic, "Sorry" as I left. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I am not happy with pepboys at all. I have been to this location around 5 times and they have never been amazing but they have been easy. First I did research on my tires before I went in and I realized that my car takes different size on the back and front because the rims (stock rims) are larger on the back then in the front. I looked around my car and realized the tires were flipped and on the wrong rims. The bigger tires were on the front and smaller on the back. This location changed them in February and never said a word about it. I'm not a huge car guy so did not notice until I read up more on tires for my car. I went in today to get new tires and the guy is like "o well that is not very good for the car" we'll dang they are the ones that messed up the car and when I told him that..."we'll it's not dangerous or anything..." So I was not happy with that, I called ahead an asked how long it would be for an oil change and tire change. They said it would be an hour and a half wait until I could get on and then an hour and a half after that. 3 hours total. I dropped the car to them at 11:51. They said no later then 3 for sure. I had an appointment at4. They gave me my car at 5:03. I know car places are not the best with timing but I was upset. Neve got an apology like it was not a big deal. Well if they say no later then 3 that is what should happen. I will not go back to pep boys. There prices are average and there timing is bad. Just don't trust them. read more

They totally took advantage of my teenager looking to have service on his car. Last week he went in for an oil change on his Honda - he paid $79.95!! He was told synthetic oil was needed for his car and even though there was a sign over the door that said $25 for an oil change the service alone cost $35! If he had walked north one block he could have had it done for $19.95. Yesterday he trusted them again, this time with tires. He did all his research, found the best price for the tires he needed and once again made an appt with this Pep Boys. Once he got there, they told him he needed different tires, never bothered to tell him they were more expensive and then charged him over $50 more than what he was expecting. I'm hoping they invest the $100 they cheated off of a kid, because it's the last they'll get out of us. We've used them in the past for several different reasons, but we won't be using them again. I'd hate to see what they do to old ladies if this is what they do to teenagers. read more

Professionalism = keeping your appointments. After making an appointment online, I received a phone call 2 minutes later saying they couldn't do an alignment, because their guy who does alignments wasn't there. Ok, I thought it was computerized and there are three adjustments toe, caster, and camber. Most A.S.E. mechanics can do that with the computer. I agree that there are people that are really good at wheel alignment whom we'll call specialists. So, I rescheduled the appointment on the phone when their specialist was going to be there and explained that I only had 90 minutes as I was leaving town the day the specialist was available. I showed up exactly on time and was greeted by Angelo who was completely professional. He said it would be ready in an hour. I walked around the store, then sat in their waiting room. At 45 minutes, I noticed that they didn't even have my vehicle in the bay. I said "ok", I'll give 'em another thirty minutes. At that point I walked up to the counter and got my vehicle. Angelo asked me for another half hour, I said, "no". He was apologetic and asked to reschedule and offered to discount the service. I said, "I'll give you a call". You just wasted 90 minutes of my time. If you can't keep the appointment, please tell the me. This place needs to improve their COMMUNICATION! Five days ago, on a Wed. I brought my 90 year old Mother's car to Encinitas Pep Boys because the battery would not hold a charge and we had to keep calling AAA. That night Pep Boys called to tell me that the battery was fine, but she needed a new alternator for $470. I really hesitated leaving the car there after reading all the negative service reviews, but on Thursday, they offered us a senior discount of $67 and we said OK to replace the alternator. The car was "ready" Fri. night and when I called Sat. morn. before we picked it up, I was told that now the battery was bad that they would replace for $120 since the car would not start without a jump. My antennae and stress went up. My Mom and I went there and they looked and said the battery was from 2012 from AAA. So we called AAA to come to replace the battery (all the while wondering about the alternator). The AAA service person had to take the wheel off to test/change the battery. He kept insisting that the battery itself was fine and he was not allowed to change it with the reading like it was, but it was not getting enough electricity to start. Nghia (who installed the alternator) came out to discuss it with him and was very nice and knowledgeable. After considerable back and forth (1 1/2 hours) it was determined that the problem could be the battery cable and not the battery or the alternator. Enter Sal the new service manager who was wonderful, professional and committed to fixing the problem and completely turning the customers (My Mom and me) opinions of this Pep Boys around. He immediately asked Nghia to find the old alternator and test it. Turns out the old alternator tested perfectly fine. He and Nghia then decided the next step would be to change the battery cables first and see if that fixed the problem without replacing the battery. Sal decided to leave the new alternator in the car since the labor to take it out and put the old one in was extensive. He apologized, refunded my Mom for the alternator parts and labor and made sure that we were satisfied. He exuded honesty, and went over and above in delivering service to us since the diagnoses and repairs were wrong and the car had been there for 5 days. We appreciated both his and Nghia's approach, honesty and attitude, definite 5* rating in my book. Now today Sunday we went to pick the car up. Called first to ask Roderick if the car could be started before we came just to make sure. It was not so I did it when I got there. It started great. We went in to pay the bill. Roderick was there (alone on a Sunday with many customers) and when he was pulling the file, I happily told him the story. The bill for the battery cables was $97 and I asked him if he would give my Mom the same senior discount. He said No, the senior discount is on Wed and Thurs. I told him we brought the car in on Wed. He then said "You were lucky to get a free alternator". Somehow this really was offensive to me (and I am sure I showed it) and everything that Sal had accomplished in making me feel completely confident to return to Pep Boys was erased. Now all I kept thinking about was how the diagnosis was wrong and if it were not for the AAA guy, we would have paid for both a battery and alternator that we did not need and the car still would not have started. I have a book business and one of the most important things I do is if I make a mistake, I will do everything possible to make sure the customer is not only over compensated for it, (and allowed to keep the merchandise) but more importantly is happy with my business and me. Customers have so many choices today and exceptional service and communication is how to keep a customer choosing to come back. Sal is the brand new service manager and will make a vast improvement in this Pep Boys location. I WILL be back to have Sal take care of our cars. I foresee a lot more 5* ratings with his influence and honesty. read more

I don't know why I go to this place when I have never once had a positive experience here. This time I even looked at Yelp before going and as you see not a pretty picture painted of this place. But I guess I am kind of an idiot and went anyway. A few weeks ago I had the car there because car was over heating and leaking radiator. They came up with $1,300.00 worth of repairs that had to be done to fix this problem and to check to see if there was any engine damage from over heating. They said they checked over everything in the system that was related and with the repairs the cooling system and everything will be like new. This past week, surprise surprise...same problems as before...water in radiator low and have to keep putting in fluids...car over heating...really hot under the hood after just driving a mile or two, etc. I had to rent another car so they can look at it and fix it. Now they say the "water pump is cracked" and needs to be replaced. So it never really was the $1,300.00 worth of fixes (including a new radiator) afterall? No comment from them other than to say it will cost $500.00 to put in a new water pump and labor. I went in the Pep store to the parts dept and said I wanted to buy a water pump for my car and gave details. He gets the part and says the cost of it is $29.00. So labor is $500-$29? = $471.00 labor. I went down the street to some other auto place and asked how much to put in a water pump? They said total $225.00 parts and labor. I asked them if they ever heard of someone charging $500.00 for the same thing? NO THEY HAVE NOT. To get to this I am now on day three renting a car on top of everything. Pep Boys in Encinitas is a customer service and car service joke. Maybe they need to get rid of Manny Moe and Jack and bring in Fanny Flo and Jacqueline and let them run the place...anything would be an improvement. read more

I took my 2001 Toyota Corolla in without an appointment. I spoke with Grant and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He asked me to leave the car and they would check it out for the problem I described. I did leave the vehicle and Grant called me in a few hours and gave me the diagnosis and the cost to repair. It was very fair and reasonable. By 3PM he called and the car was ready., It was a very good experience and the personnel were terrific. Thank you Pep Boys. read more

If you need anything other than a simple oil change, find a decent mechanic. The Pep Boys parts are generally low quality and not terribly reliable. The mechanics here are not top flight, so you are taking a chance on the work. About the only thing I buy here is oil or filters on sale - the Purolator line of filters gets good reviews for quality. read more

I made an online reservation 6 days in advance for service on my car, received a next day text appt reminder, but then the morning of my appt the shop called me only an hour before to tell me they were booked and I needed to reschedule. Unacceptable. I left 2 messages for the San Diego area manager over the next several days and never got a call back from him. Needless to say Pep Boys has lost my business. read more

Worst customer service and knowledge of repairs! First they put on brake pads that didn't fit my car, then a few weeks later when my brakes were squeeling, they told me that I needed new drums. In the meantime, they had messed up my appt. times twice! I brought my car somewhere else and they told and showed me my brake pads which were clearly not a good fit and were greased wrong. Also, my car didn't need drums at all! Pep boys has inexperienced mechanics who don't know what they are doing + sell you things that you don't need instead of fixing the problem correctly and admitting I didn't have the right pads on in the first place.I would not send my worst enemy to this place! read more

My mom took her car in to Pep Boys to have the brakes serviced. $450 later, the brakes are still squeaking. Next she took her car in to Pep Boys to have the belt on the air conditioner replaced. The next day the air conditioner stopped working. Pep Boys wants $1800 to fix it. Next she took her car to Pep Boys for an oil change. Oil is now leaking out all over the place - it wasn't when she took it in - and they say it's not their fault. "Things break", they said. They say they will check it out for a price. This is all within a five week period. The moral of the story is: Don't Go to Pep Boys! read more

Stopped in today for a second opinion on a tire problem. I'd been getting the runaround from a different tire place on a warranty issue. Spoke with the service manager who inspected my tires and gave me tips on what to ask for from the other tire place... went to the other place and they will now be taking care of my issue. Next time I need tires I am coming here first. Great customer service given to someone who did not even buy anything! read more

I have been using this location for over 15 years and have always found them helpful and professional. After a long and difficult day yesterday with a bad car battery (bought almost 3 yrs ago from Pep Boys In LA)I went to Pep Boys Encinitas. I printed 2 coupons that would have saved me $$ on new battery. I removed battery and brought it in. Upon entering, a kind employee took the heavy battery and said "let me test it". 10 mins later he came out of the back room with a new battery and told me it was totally covered under warranty. He asked if I needed anything else and I said "yes .. The felt terminal insulators".. He showed me that he had already taped a new set to the battery. Awesome service..no questions asked. I had a horrible experience with taking my car to Pep Boys in Encinitas. The people there don't seem to know much about cars... which scares me. I looked around and only saw one young man that actually had a certified automotive technician patch on his shirt. What qualifies everyone else to be working on these cars? They just decided one day they want to be a mechanic and Pep Boys figures they're qualified... I think not. I talked to the young man, the ONLY one I saw that was a certified technician, and he straightened out all my problems for me, and actually knew what he was talking about. Will not go back to Pep Boys as long as they have a bunch of people who are not qualified to work on cars working there... read more

Do not go to this shop..I went 3 weeks ago with my car,single female on my own, to get an alignment...they told me I needed about $1000 in repairs..I needed new struts..I didn't have the money to fix them right away..so left with my car ..my roomates dad is a mechanic at one of the better shops In escondito . I told her what they said an she arranged to have him look at it .. After he did he said it was nnot the struts an a totally different problem(much cheaper) took it to the dealer an they confirmed what he said.. Ok perphaps it was a mistake ..last week I took my other older car for an allingnment , again they told me it needed about $1200 in repair. Tie rods , bushings an new tires,cuz mine where so dangerous that they were on the verge of blow out.. I didn't want to burden my roommates father with my auto problems again..so I asked her not to say anything..she didn't listen an took it to him..AGAIN this was not the problem..in fact this time nothing was wrong.. DO NOT WASTE your time an money at this place...they are not honest or compitent..there were a few other inconsienstancys how ever would take too long to go through them..I have never yelped...in fact I used to call it whine...my experience was so horrible an I am so dissatisfied ...
