I just had a terrible experience today at this location. I was waiting for roughly 40 minutes for the car in front of me and then a car pulls up next to me and they proceed to wave her through after waiting 5-10 minutes instead of letting us in first since we had been waiting. From there, after waiting all the time I asked the lady working there if we were going to be proceeded through and she was rude and then told us we could not get our oil changed there and to go somewhere else. Went in for an oil change recently and the attendant was rude and acted as though I was holding him up by getting the service (I was the only one there). Every answer I gave him he made it seem like it was the wrong one. He would talk over me and ask my boyfriend in the passenger seat what he thought even though it's my car and I'm driving. When he was changing the oil, he was slow, and it felt purposeful. As a woman, I didn't feel like a respected customer, so next time I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Everyone who works here is 20 years old, you pull up and there's about 6 of them just shootin the s*** not paying attention to anything. Had a 10$ off, that wasn't added to my bill either. Been going to this Jiffy Lube for 11 years and never had a serious issue. Took my car there for an oil change last Thursday. The self proclaimed General Manager David told me they were out of conventional oil and they should receive a shipment the next day (Friday). Wait! Jiffy Lube doesn't have oil?! He told me to go to the nearest Auto Zone and buy some oil and bring it to his store and they would change my oil. Really?! So I told him I just would come back. So now it's Monday. I just came back from the same Jiffy Lube and I met with the same person GM David who told me he doesn't order conventional oil anymore "because they only get new cars through here that use synthetic oil". Then he said again that he ordered it and it should be delivered tomorrow (same thing he said last Thursday). I said, "wait, you just told me you don't order conventional oil anymore, then you said your ordered it and it's going to be delivered tomorrow. Which is it?! Clearly he has no idea what he's doing or anything about customer service. Do not go to this Jiffy Lube that has no oil. Isn't that like going to Starbucks and they don't have any coffee?! read more

His attention to detail and one on one with customers is awesome compared to other people I've worked with at the same location. Very strange visit. I pulled up and a young man walked up with a clipboard, no smile, no hello, and asked me if I'd been there before. I said yes, but with a different car. I told him I just needed an oil change and without telling me why, asked me to open my door. I was confused, wondering if he wanted me to get out and go into the waiting area or what. Instead he took some info from the inside of the door. It would have been nice if he had explained why he wanted me to open the door. After we talked about which oil I wanted, he told me to pull up. There was another young man waiting who gestured for me to pull up and stop. I then grabbed my purse, thinking I was supposed to go inside and wait which is what I've done every time I've ever had an oil change. Instead he asked me to pop the hood. So I just sat there while he changed the oil. Um ok. While he was working, he was talking loudly and laughing with some guy who I think was under my car. Then a young woman came out and was chatting it up and laughing like they were having a great time. I'm not against people having fun at work, but I felt like they had forgotten I was even there. I had no idea what was happening. During the whole process I just sat there being completely ignored. Very unprofessional and I'll never be back. The focus needs to be on the customer. I have been coming here on and off for several years. It appears that they are under new management or something, because the last two times I've been here the place appears to be run by children. It has taken forever to even get checked in. Lots of employees just hanging around, but nothing getting worked on. Time to find a new oil change place... Five days have gone by, and my daughter's car has been leaking oil ever since the service. We are roadtripping back to college and had to stop to have the oil leak looked at. Turns out they used the old crush washer (instead of a new one that would cost a nickle), and that was the cause of the leak. read more

They do great work here! Quick and easy! I needed a new no BS mechanic shop to help me with a quick long over due oil change and they successfully helped me. I like how they let you sit inside your own vehicle while they do the work. It's nice how they have a lower area to go under your vehicle instead of raising it off the ground. I arrived just after they opened and was 3rd in line on a Wednesday morning. The oil change I got was quick and fairly priced. They were out of my desired full synthetic oil, but had a mixed blend alternative at a cheaper cost with an added discount that I was grateful for! The location is convenient and accessible from the 5 fwy and Palomar apt road. The employee Evan was kind, communicative, and did an overall great job on the work! I'll return again! I'm not one for leaving negative yelp reviews, but this experience brought me here. I've frequented jiffy lube for the past few years and have always had great experiences. This was my second visit to this location (the first was great), and I don't think there will be a third. It took about 20 minutes of sitting behind the "fast oil change" sign for someone to approach me, despite there being several workers walking around. The person that ended up checking me in asked if I had been helped and was surprised when I told him no- he thought someone else had already done it based on what the system said. I wasn't initially bothered by this because I understand that they were busy and I was waiting my turn, but it would've been nice to know they'd be with me when they're available. Once they were ready for me to pull up and start my oil change, the person just signaled for me to pull forward/stop and didn't say anything to me then started working on it once I assumed I should pop the hood. The people working on my car were having very casual conversation which was quite unprofessional from the few words I overheard. I saw another review discussing something similar about understanding having fun at work- and I totally agree- but this was too far and simply inappropriate around customers in my opinion. In less than 10 minutes they had finished my oil change; the person working up top told me the total was $130 (not sure if this is what the person actually said because I could barely hear them) and asked for my card. I had a coupon and had it ready to scan, but the person just asked me what it was and went inside with my card. It took a couple minutes to get my card back along with the paper receipt- they almost gave my card back to the wrong person, but luckily realized before they left with it. When I got the paper receipt, I was sure to take a look before leaving because I never remembered it being that much and asked why it was so expensive- the person kinda joked telling me it's the type of car I drive and I said I've had the same car and it's never been that much to which they replied it's under new management. I guess that's a good explanation for the recent negative reviews. I was charged $48.05 for "labor" and think that's where the prices have been bumped. I understand that inflation is a thing, but for less than 10 minutes of unprofessional work and poor customer service... this is not a price worth paying for labor alone. If you've been a regular customer here- I would recommend finding another location or place. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received for the price I paid, and this is coming from someone who is generally laid back and can brush off bad service. read more

In and out with minimal issues. John explained all the points clearly and thank god my car has only 20,000 miles on it, but still it was all talked over. The place looked clean and the service was... as promised... about 15 minutes. I had to wait, but still the service part was on point. $75 for a basic oil change is high to me, but I normally get free service. They did do a top off of all fluids and checked tires.
