    "Free brake inspection"

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I called in for a brake pad check. Since they advertise "free brake inspection." The front desk guy name Ray was so rude and disrespectful making me not want to come in for an inspection. He asked what vehicle I have and I said "Lexus gs350" he then proceed with a snarky comment "well shit, that's an expensive vehicle for a free inspection" why advertise something if you gonna have something dumb to say. He then told me to come in at a later time. Why would I trust this place with my "expensive car" when their customer service are so damn terrible. That is why Pep boys keep having one star review and no customer, thanks to this guy name ray. I'm glad I called in before trusting someone with my car.

I set an appointment with the shop for noon. I never got a confirmation from the store that day and to show up early. With the pandemic I always show up on time. I was there at 12:03 and waited 5 or so minutes at the front desk waiting for service guy to get off the phone. He starts processing and says you plan on dropping off. We said no that we were going to wait. He said since we were late that they are booked and we will get our car next week. What! We specially told them we were going to wait on the appointment and he said he canceled us since we were not there. The guy was on phone before we got there. What kind of place are you running here. Lost my business and respect. Go somewhere else people. Not worth it with the horrible service and attitude.

I'm purchasing tires from TireRack and I need to find a location to have them installed. I recently replaced the tire sensors on all 4 tires and they need to be calibrated. Do you have the tool for that and does that cost anything extra?

Time and time again, this particular store has stood out from the rest. Steve and his crew consistently go above and beyond what is expected. Whether helping me or my girlfriend, they've always treated us with respect, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, this team sets the standard. Their work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to taking care of their customers do not go unnoticed. It's rare to find a team that takes so much pride in what they do, and it shows every time you walk through the door. Keep up the outstanding work, Steve. Lost a loyal customer -- bad experience with a damaged wheel stud…read more I bought a pair of Yokohama tires for my Subaru from Discount Tire on September 9, 2026. The next day, September 10, they called to say the tires were in and asked me to come in as soon as possible. I went in the same day. When I arrived, the front manager greeted me and took care of me right away. He was nice and professional and said the install would take about 30-45 minutes. While I was waiting, the supervisor (I forgot his name) called me over and asked who installed my spare tire. He said one of the studs was spinning with the lug nut because I had installed the spare tire the wrong way. That excuse made no sense to me. He then told me to go to another auto shop because Discount Tire couldn't fix it, and gave me the card of a shop that could. I didn't want to argue--I just wanted my car fixed. After that, he rushed me out of the store and told me to drive my car out of the area. When I asked if I should come back to have the wheel installed, he just said to tell the other shop to install the rest of the wheel. I asked about the alignment, and he said there was nothing wrong with it and my car should be fine. He didn't give me any invoice or paperwork. I drove to the recommended shop. The first thing they asked was, "Who's going to pay--Discount Tire or you out of pocket?" They said it would cost $450 if I paid myself. When I asked how they would fix it, they said they would torch the lug nut, replace the broken stud, and that it would damage my wheel--and they would not be responsible for that damage. I left. Today I submitted feedback to Discount Tire and described what happened. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from Preston, but it went to voicemail. He said to call back and he would take care of the broken stud. That's a nice gesture, but why wasn't it taken care of right away when it happened? I'm not going to take my car to the recommended shop if their fix can cause more damage. I already booked an appointment at the Subaru dealership for Wednesday, September 16. They will fix it without creating more damage. This might be the last time I bring my car to Discount Tire. You can see my account history--wherever I've lived, Texas, Illinois, Arizona, and California, I've always brought my car to Discount Tire. You just lost a loyal customer. I do not recommend this location.

I bring my vehicle to you, entrusting that you, the professional will fix and repair my vehicle so that I and the others around me are safe. You did not do that today. You put my life and the lives of others in danger when the upper sway bar and link bolt were not tightened. Nut was put on with approximately two threads engaged. And yet I gave you 4,400 dollars of my money that I work for to survive and you could've killed me. What part of this do you think is ok?? Not only did you royally not inspect or review your work..you also never have in the past either. I was there a few weeks ago for an oil change you didnt even tighten the oil filter!! You also didn't replace the fastener grommets under your hood !! But yet when it came time to pay for the so called repairs you tried to tell me my estimate was more because some parts were more expensive. I didnt entrust my vehicle to your business for giggles. I didnt entrust my vehicle to you for nothing. I actually care about my vehicle. Then on top of that the manager promised if the control arms got fixed then they would hook up new tires. So called the store and there new guy owners because the manager was on vacation. So now have to eat 400$ on new tires that only lasted 3 months. Shitty management and ownership. Don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like getting screwed over.
