It is important to note that this establishment is kosher which means there won't be any shellfish. If you are expecting Uni or Crab, find another place, haha. The sushi was fresh and buttery smooth. You're in an hour within an hour. Plan to arrive early in order to find street parking especially in the summer time. The restaurant has a very modern feeling and they rely heavily on natural lighting as the actual lighting in the restaurant is very dim. I wish it was slightly brighter that way I can see my meal better. The sushi was solid, but the vibe in the restaurant was...off. You could kind of feel the tension between the sushi chefs and the servers. Subtle exchanges and energy that hinted at some behind-the-scenes friction. I understand that the real action is on Fridays, or Thursdays and Fridays, in preparation for the weekend, with their take out appetizers, and based on the sushi being so top-notch, I'm sure the other items are excellent too. I can see that there is a great amount of effort and enthusiasm that goes into running this establishment on a daily basis, and I appreciate them being here.
