Free hot tea for winter! My friend and I enjoyed the "Poor Man's Lobster Torta" in which no lobsters were harmed to make. It was fresh and delicious. I found this place while traveling for work. I'm in Nebraska a lot and it's hard to find good wholesome healthy food. Pepe works so hard with his staff. They provide food for the community and garden as well. His food is also very delicious and changes all the time with their small menu. I will always support the companies, who support others! I really love Pepe's! The food, the mission, the people. I was finally able to visit the storefront and enjoy lunch with my coworkers. I had a divine curry burrito stuffed full of veggies and chickpeas, one friend had a beautiful sandwich, and our other coworker asked for the Pepe special, which was a mix of Mexican foods. I love it here!!! The food was soooooo yummy. The cucumber lemonade was light and refreshing, and you could tell it was freshly made. My first time today! A friend brought me to Pepe's, we enjoy trading off introducing each other to new lunch spots and this one did not disappoint. I had a mushroom "burrito" sans tortilla to keep it GF, very beautifully plated, and a cup of hot tea to go with it. I've been a fan of Pepe as a human for a long time for the work he puts into the community. The world would be a better place if there were more people like him, I think. But somehow I never managed to actually try his food until last weekend! I am sad for myself that I didn't make it a higher priority, because it's truly incredible food. Fresh, delicious, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Even my picky toddler loved it. And the presentation is beautiful too! I could not have asked for more. Pepe is a local entrepreneur with a worldwide chain of one. He has been at this location for a little over a year and has been at several locations over the past 7-10 years. As it is my first time here, I am going on the word of my friends who have known Pepe for years. We came on a weekday for lunch with a group of 5 one is Vegan. Oh, by the way, Pepe's is meat free It's a moderate size location with seating for about 25-30. There is a partial divider between the kitchen area and dining area. We settled on the Vegetarian burritos, black bean quesadilla. The menu is not large 4 items that rotate on a quarterly basis (so I am told) As I gather from the signage at Pepe's, he promotes supporting the community and local farmers when possible. He assists those in need with bicycles and their repair. The food came out. It was not quick as every item was prepared fresh for our order. First off, the guacamole is outstanding. I'd come back for that anytime. The items we ordered were quite good. Fresh grilled vegetables and homemade sauces and sides. The hot sauces (which were produced and bottled locally) they were variations of habanero peppers Pepe was gracious enough to give us fair warning about the sauces and how hot they were. The vegetarian of the group, who had been there many times before, filled us in on the sauces by saying select your sauce by which ends of the body you want it to burn... I think I'll pass on the sauce today, thank you. If you want locally sourced, made with love food, Pepe's is a good place to go. Enjoy read more

This is my favorite vegetarian/vegan spot in town. Locally owned by Pepe who is super nice as well as his staff. The food options are thoughtful, creative, healthy, and decorative. The portion sizes are great! It's a fun place to hang out with friends, have a lunch date or to bring the whole family. Went in for the first time today. I had the taco bowl. It was very good and filling. Loved the salsa that came on the side. It is so nice to be able to find nice vegan food in Lincoln.
