I just want to give Pepe's towing a 5 star review for there great customer service and response time and most importantly to both of their drivers/operators "Jose" driver of rotator and I think "Cordova" driver of flatbed. A few weeks ago we used them and from the dispatch to getting their crew out to the site they were prompt and fast and most importantly very professional with great hospitality. They took very good care of the vehicle they helped us recover and treated the piece of equipment like if it was still new with care despite it being damaged. It's always negative feedback people leave but this is an occasion for positive feedback and I hope they let these two employees know they are doing a great job and most importantly doing an outstanding job representing Pepe's towing. I want to start up by saying that the gentleman who's actually at this lot is a very nice gentleman. My issue was with whoever answers the phone. Very rude individual. I don't really understand why you can't give an estimate of how much is owed over the phone. Do you wanna make sure that you have the funds when you arrive right? And then when I picked up the car today I felt like I was pushed to pay with cash instead of my card, which is a little weird. Told the guy over the phone that before I pay I wanted to inspect the car to make sure everything's in accordance. Tell me why he got upset that I wanted to check my car. I feel that it's common sense to check to make sure everything's the way was picked up. Tell me why my car was ransacked . It looks like they went through every compartment . TRUCK DRIVERS BEWARE. Unless you want to see your accident made out to be a joke, don't use them, if you call them out they will ridicule you on their instagram. My dad was in an accident and he used them for help, he was charged $4,000. A few days later I see they made and posted a video with all these "funny" sounds about the accident and my dad being recorded by the company. I called today to get a quote and they overcharged $200 when she initially told me $250, it went to $450. If anyone wants to see the photos or have had issues with their lying on pricing as well as give you the runaround on where your truck is located so that they can place a Lien on your vehicle then antagonize you with emails in which I have printed for a class action lawsuit. As well as an investigation into many unfavorable practices as well as intent. They have tried to blame DWP FOR FRONT END DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK THAT THE DRIVER SMASHED INTO MY ENGINE. Joshua stated the DWP worker got into the truck and punched the gas running into tire lift. Funny they said truck went into someone's home. Blatant lie the block wall in front was hit and broke 7 @ 8 x 16 cynder blocks with no concrete or rebar in which was listed as a $543.67 repair. Also the home he stated was damaged sits off the street 72 feet back. If your going to falsify a statement be accurate. Also they stated it was a recovery but funny thing is if recovery how could DWP DRIVER PUNCH THE GAS AND RUN INTO THEM. $2900 for a tow? Falsifying location to delay pick-up and then last but not least charging more money to drop off and not drop off where agreed location and not leaving key nor calling to say where truck was. Jacob H. is absolutely wonderful!! I am writing you this review to inform you of a wonderful experience I had. On 11/19/2021 I left Sacramento and headed south on my way to Knott's Berry Farm. 20 miles from my destination my car became undrivable. I later found out that the new brakes I had gotten put on 2 weeks earlier had lost a bolt and the caliper housing jammed up my front tires. But nevertheless I was stranded. I called two other towing service but no luck. I guess what they say is true, third time is a charm. At my wits end and kind of stressing out I finally reached out to Pepe's towing. I was somewhere downtown Vernon with my friend alone at night. Luckily Jacob Hernandez answered the phone. He was kind and helpful. He help to put us at ease. We were informed that someone would be there within 45 mins to help us. 20 mins later Jacob shows up with bells and whistles on. He was very professional and definitely knowledgeable in his line of work. We were hooked up and ready to go in 10 mins. The inside of his truck was very clean and before we got in he adjusted the seats to make sure we were comfortable. He even tailored the music selection with us in mind. He got us safely to our destination with no hiccups and safely unloaded my car perfectly into the designated parking spot. I was already stressing about what the next day was going to look like, trying to figure out which mechanic shop I would have to have my car tow to. Jacob reassured me that I could call him and he would help me figure something out if needed. I would recommend Jacob to all of my friends and family and anyone in that area who needed a reliable towing service with exceptional customer service and a professional sense of urgency. Horrible company i wish they let you give no stars . My bus caught on fire and CHP contacted them it took them 30mins to load the bus then 1hour to release my bus they tried to prolong it saying CHP has to release a bus i own. I contacted CHP and they said no they told me $400 then went up to $1100 then $2500 and they sent 2 tow trucks out when i only needed one . They said it took them 3 hours when all in all it only took 1hour and 45min they changed the price multiple times and also my bus fell off of their tow truck . If I could I would give this company and CHP for contracting with them no stars , long story short I had my car towed from the Fwy after it broke down on me , I was being charged 260 to tow it off the fwy which is crazy when the exit was literally right there . The driver ( Castro) got upset Bc I told him to leave my car there no one told him to start loading my shit !!! So he stopped and said I had to pay him Bc he showed up get the fuck out of here . And gave me attitude and called me a stupid fuck that other tow truck would charge me more , I told him I dont care what the other company charges me I just didn't wan to give him the business at that time he also said trust me ill make you pay me . My son's Chevrolet Camaro car was towed from the highway when it broke down. Once we found out that Pepe's Towing had possession of his car, we were concerned about what sorts of fees will be added. We all hear the horror stories of towing companies and how much it is a wrecking business to take as much money as they can from individuals. I am not happy that I had to pay $321 (lol, which no one would be), but it is what it is. Then I spoke with Melissa and got a real bad feeling about everything; however, it was just a misunderstanding about the situation. If I have to pay the $321, it doesn't hurt so bad if the customer service is excellent. And not to mention that I was handling this from Florida. As an Army veteran, I have been around the world and have seen many unprofessional towing coming, but Pepe's Towing Service receives a 5 star. Price was fair however Joe from Pepe's Towing damaged the light bar and the right rear shock while hooking or unhooking to the semi. I sent pictures and an invoice for repairs and they would not take care of it. Could not get a hold of Joe, he wouldn't answer emails or return phone calls and stuck us with the bill.
